Possession of a San Francisco Short-Term Rental Registration Certificate certifies that the registration certificate holder has agreed to comply with the terms of the San Francisco Short-Term Residential Rental Ordinance (San Francisco Administration Code Section 41A). This ordinance does not require an inspection of the unit by the City for potential Building, Housing, Fire, or other Code violations.
Enjoy the top level of this home, accessed through your own, private entry. From the small foyer, stairs wrap up into the center of the living space where you’ll find the living room, outfitted in a sleek, modern design. Light fills the room throughout the day through two huge windows. Relax on the large sectional sofa and read, chat, or watch TV (40-inch), which is equipped with Roku and Netflix.
The dining room and kitchen are open to one another, yet are their own distinct spaces. The custom, glass over aluminum-topped dining table easily seats four. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, a large refrigerator and freezer, and a vintage, 1951 Wedgewood stove. There is also a new washer and dryer, which is accessed through the foyer.
Both bedrooms are bathed in natural light and feature comfortable queen-sized beds with down pillows and comforters. Each bedroom has a closet, and there is a linen closet with ample shelving between the two rooms.
A door from the back bedroom takes you to a large, sunny patio for your exclusive use. Feel free to pick a lemon, or a lime (he’s smaller, but produces pretty much year-round), to enjoy in a drink or use in a meal. Noe Valley is among the sunnier and warmer neighborhoods in San Francisco, yet the famed fog often blankets the entire city. Either way, you are invited to enjoy the outdoor space at the property!
The structure is detached on all four sides, and there are no fewer than 10 large, double-paned windows and two skylights. It is an incredibly bright space that is also calm and quiet.
The property is located in the center of Noe Valley. 24th Street is a 10-minute (flat) walk away. There, you’ll find shops, restaurants, banks, a gym, a post office, a Starbucks, and a Whole Foods market. There are two restaurants just one block away—Eric’s (Chinese) and Kama Sushi.
Public transportation is one block away. The light rail (the J-Church line) takes you downtown to City Hall, the SF Symphony, the SF Opera, museums, Union Square/Powell Street (shopping), theaters, the financial district, Moscone Center, the Ferry Building, and much more. Once downtown, you can transfer to the F-line which takes you along the embarcadero to Fisherman’s Warf. The 24-line bus is also one block away from the property (in the other direction, up the hill). This bus takes you to the Castro (where you can also transfer to the F-line), and continues along Divisadero and into Pacific Heights to the top of Fillmore Street (a nice place with boutiques and restaurants).
The owner occupies the lower level, and is available to answer any questions you may have about the property or the city. Welcome to San Francisco!
**NO SMOKING of any kind in the living space, on the deck, or on the patio. If you do smoke, please do so outside in front, away from the structure.
**NO LOUD VOICES/MUSIC past 10PM as a courtesy to the neighbors (who are wonderful people)
**NO PARTIES. If you would like to have visitors during your stay, please discuss with me ahead of time. Rates are based on double occupancy—two person maximum.

About Mike Young
Hello, I’m Mike! Other than three years in New York, and two years in Paris, I’ve called San Francisco my home for the last 25 years. I love to travel to different places and meet new people (I know, who doesn’t!). I’ve had this property for the last 15 years, and have tried to improve and modernize it while maintaining its original, uniquely San Francisco feel. I hope that sharing my home with you will help to make your visit to San Francisco a special and memorable one.

Lovely Noe Valley Apartment - perfect for our stay in SF.
This Noe Valley apartment is located on a quiet street in a beautiful community in San Francisco. The apartment is clean and bright and superbly decorated. Our host, Mike, was readily available if we had any questions or concerns. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here on a future trip to the Bay Area.
Just like a 5-star boutique hotel
Wow! The quality and service apparent with Mike and his place is similar to a 5-star boutique hotel, but way better. He really knows what he is doing and has this experience down.
His light-filled, charming apartment is beautiful, located in a great (and safe) neighborhood, and wonderfully clean. Super Comfy beds, down pillows, and lots of little things....like homemade cookies on our arrival! Lemon and lime trees in the backyard, courtyard too.
Mike is a great guy ready to assist with needs and ideas. Well done Mike!! We loved our stay.
Well appointed, great location, delicious cookies!
Mike is a great host and his home was comfortable, nicely decorated, and a place we would certainly recommend. The location is ideal and within walking distance to some great restaurants, locally-owned shops, and supermarkets. The neighborhood is quiet and it wasn’t that hard to find street parking. If you are headed to San Francisco, you should definitely put Mike’s place on your list as a place to stay. As noted, a very nice host and the fruit, beverages, and chocolate chip cookies were a nice plus!
Great place - very clean and comfortable. In cute, quiet neighborhood.
Great place! Very clean and comfortable for two people. Conveniently located and easy access. Bright rooms and everything you need for your stay. Owner very helpful and friendly. Showed us everything in the place and included coffee, waters and snacks for our stay. No cable TV but who needs that in SF with so much to do around town! Noe Valley is a cute neighborhood. Great shopping and restaurants 3 streets away. Would definitely stay here again.
This is our third visit to Mike’s home. It is perfect. Location perfect...we found even more A+ restaurants in walking distance...Frances, Firefly, Contigo, Eric, Griddle Fresh...and there are mire. Whole Foods a short walk. Noe valley bakery. The home is immaculate.
Kitchen fully functional with new appliances and clean, so clean. Lots of hangers in closets, and they are large closets. Looking forward to our next stay at our home away from home!
Our second time staying here and we loved it just as much!
My daughter and I come to SF at least once a year to visit family. Years ago we fell in love with Noe Valley for its sunny weather, friendly families, unusual stores and lovely houses. Mike’s place has access to all of that and is gorgeous. It is tastefully furnished and has comfortable beds. In the spring I sat outside in the back yard to read and drink my coffee. This weekend it wasn’t warm enough to do that, but it was still restful to look out the window. The kitchen is functional and has what one needs to cook. There is a Whole Foods a few blocks away, and a Safeway a little further off. We drive up, so I am often worried about finding parking in certain neighborhoods, but I haven’t had a problem near Mike’s.
Mike is always helpful and considerate. We love this apartment!
