About Marcus Wilsey

We have lived in this area for many years and have hiked most of the trails in the Park and climbed many of the major peaks. We have also explored many other areas in Montana. We both live here because of this beautiful place. If you have any questions about where to drive, walk, or visit...ask us!! We love sharing our knowledge about this area with visitors.

Marcus Wilsey purchased this cabin in 1991

Why Marcus Wilsey chose Glacier Country

If you are looking to explore this area we have a comfortable and practical cabin for rent. There are two combination TV/DVD players for the kids or adults, a sun room with a daybed facing south that is perfect for looking out at the woods, a kitchen that is functional and attractive, and no need for a trip to the Laundromat as we have a washer and dryer in the utility room!!

What makes this cabin unique

Minutes for Glacier National Park, Big Mountain Ski Resort, Whitefish, and Hungry Horse Reservoir. Use this cabin as you base to explore Northwestern Montana!! Conveniently located on US Hwy 2.

Beautiful little cabin with everything you could possibly need or want.

  • 5 of 5

I had an amazing time! When I first entered the cabin I was shocked by how clean and comfortable everything felt. And they have everything you could possibly want. I was easily able to rest and cook with their fully equipped kitchen (and i hadn't planned to use the washer dryer much, but man was it a real lifesaver). And that shower is pretty incredible. I cannot praise this cabin enough.

The only con that I can think of is that it is pretty near the highway so it gets loud every now and then, but it never bothered me. Also there was this one bird that kept bumping into the window (i have no idea why)-which kinda freaked me out.

All in all I had just the best time. Montana is a gorgeous place to visit.

Amazing cabin

  • 5 of 5

Loved staying at this place and it made our trip that much more memorable. Great location. Super clean. Has a grill and a fire pit. Internet and cable, washer and dryer. And even bear spray. It was our first trip to Montana and the cabin was in a perfect location. Definitely recommend this place for a small family or a couple. I am pretty picky when it comes to places I stay and this place had everything we needed. Very very well maintained.

Excellent cabin and location!!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay. Easy access to the West Entrace of Glacier. The cabin was clean, cozy and the washer/dryer was a huge bonus. Marcus was very helpful with local information. Next time we will stay longer and enjoy a fire in the fire pit. I would highly recommend this cabin.

Perfect cabin with a great location

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect little cabin for our honeymoon! It is so close to the entrance of Glacier National Park. It is fully furnished and beautiful! Marcus and Kathy were fantastics hosts! We let them know one of the lamps wasn't working in the bedroom and the smoke detector's battery was low and they came to address the issue by the end of the day! What shocked us was they didn't just take the lamp that was broken. They replaced it along with the one on the other side of the bed so they both matched! If you're looking for a cabin deep in the middle of the woods this isn't quite that as the road is very close. However, since most of our time was spent in Glacier it was a perfect spot to call home for a few days. We will be back!

Everything you'd ever need for your GNP/Montana Trip!

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful modern, but charming, cabin! For property this size, generous sized kitchen & bath. Washer and dryer a bonus! Outside patio, picnic table and fireputation were spacious and tucked in the woods. Beautiful lighting surrounding outdoor area. The owners, Marcus and Kathy, left no stone unturned when they remodeled this old cabin. They even brought us a portable air conditioner as the week we were there was unseasonably warm. Even brought extra DVD'set! Wonderful, gracious hosts.

You won't regret staying here. Book it now!
