Damage & House Rules Policy / Guest Responsibilities.
We inspect every condo at every check out. We again inspect every condo before every Guest Arrival.
We have documentation for each condo to assure the condo is good condition and working order before your arrival.
1) Guest is responsible to pay for any missing/broken/damaged items, extra check out cleaning & for a drain or toilet that requires clearing due to Guest clogging the drain or toilet. Every condo has a plunger for the toilet. If you clog the toilet, please use the plunger provided. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 2) Do not use the Kitchen Sink Garbage disposal for potato peels, fruit rinds, banana peels, pineapples, egg shells, noodles, rice etc. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 3) Sand: Please rinse off all sand (self and gear) before entering the hotel/condo (there are rinsing stations at the beach) to avoid extra cleaning fee and clogging the shower drains. 4) Lanai: Please do not hang towels or other items from the lanai. Please do not feed the birds. 5) No smoking in condo, on lanai or in common areas. Guest charged to have upholstery, drapes and linens cleaned, deodorized. 6) Guest responsible to pay for locksmith if they lock themselves out the of the bathrooms or damage a lock.

CANCELLATIONS:
1) Reservation deposit is non-refundable. 2) Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the check in date can have the deposit applied to another stay at the same condo within one year of the original check in date. 3) Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to check in will forfeit deposit. 4) Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to check in will forfeit deposit and rental balance payment. 5) We encourage you to get travel insurance so a cancellation can be recovered.

Rentals are not transferable to another party. No Smoking Condo. No Pets

we really enjoyed staying here. It had everything we needed. It was great for the 4 of us. The only thing that didn’t work was the beach chairs. We took them to the beach and didn’t realize they were both broken. But that was ok we still enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Ilikai Marina is a great location. Activity in the marina is always fun. Just a short walk to the beach. Parking was extremely convenient. Unit was a little tired but perfectly fine for our needs. Overall, totally recommend this property!

Communication with management was not good. Response time is very slow. Our lanai was being worked on- they blocked (from the outside) access to even open it. The window was bolted shut, thus making there no way to open for any fresh air. The manager’s response first said they shouldn’t be working on the lanai but would try and find something out from the property. Then the story changed to, “it was supposed to be completed May of 2025.” I figured they knew it would be worked on and didn’t reveal it when we reserved. VERY frustrated we didn’t have access to an open door or window for the fresh open air. I accidentally burned our dinner on the stove one night, and because we couldn’t open doors or windows, we had to open it into the hallway. Instead of communicating with the management, I walked down to speak with the security people. They weren’t helpful, but said they would document it. Felt like a HUGE fire hazard when I realized I had no way to get out, or ventilate anywhere. The couch was a terrible place for a 3rd person to sleep. The carpet was outdated and dingy. Everything was outdated. The bathroom isn’t in the best shape. You must hold down the toilet handle for about 20 seconds to ensure everything goes down. There are only 2 short glasses for drinking. No oven. The view was lovely. However, the doors and windows were incredibly filthy. The location is excellent. Will never stay in this unit again.

Fabulous view at reasonable rate

Mirrored walls give the unit the feeling of being larger (and good fung-shui!). Plenty of towels for shower and beach. Good firm bed--being slightly lower also adds to sense of spaciousness. Fabulous view from dining table next to lanai. TWO microwaves (but no oven ;-). Everything you'd need for a perfect holiday. Mahalo nui.

My wife and I bloodied our shins on the razor sharp corners of the bed foundation located at the foot of the bed...please request a fix for safety and enjoyment’s sake. Thank you

Ilikai Marina 17 day stay

We are seasoned travelers and have stayed in this building several times. The central location and view, marina side, are excellent. There is no comfortable seating in the LR. The futon couch shown is terrible. The King mattress is 6 inches thick, placed on a wood frame; most uncomfortable for more than 1 night. The stackable W/D is nice but check out the plumbing tubes adjacent,...filthy! Be prepared for their "minimal" starter kit. It's VERY minimal compared to the many other VRBO and HomeAway's we have stayed. Tried to discuss this with Manager and she becomes immediately defensive. On a positive note, the shower drain was very slow Day 1, and didn't drain at all within a few days. This was repaired immediately. We will always choose this location in the future, but certainly not this unit.

Great view & location but needs updating

Location and view were great also loved the keyless entry. Found the condo to be a bit dated and sparsely equipped/stocked and could have been cleaner. There was no facial tissue upon arrival, ran out of toilet paper, wasn’t well cleaned and for a unit with a washer/dryer was surprised that there was no laundry supplies.

Ilikai Marina #1192 (May 2019)

#1192 is a Condo on the 11th floor. The view of the Marina is wonderful, especially the sunsets. We appreciated having a clean condo with a washing machine and dryer. The bathroom is dated. It is walking distance to the beach, shops and bus stop. We enjoyed several meals at The Chart House, a restaurant below the condo. We would recommend a holiday in this condo, and hope to return one day. Thank you.

Wonderful view of ocean! Sunset view every evening was gorgeous! Close walk to beach. A few thing I would've liked in room were having tissue, maybe supply each guest with single use laundry detergent and softener, maybe a few sugar packets... small conveniences. The toilet extremely hard to flush with handle. All in all would use again.

Definitely booking this home again in the future!

The condo itself is very clean and tidy. The view from the lanai is just beautiful. The best thing about the condo is all the very useful amenities. We found a bunch of beach equipment in the closet, which was great considering that we didn't bring anything to go to the beach with. The condo comes equipped with 3 beach chairs, 3 beach towels, beach mat, a big beach bag that fits so much, beach umbrella, and even 2 snorkel masks. The kitchen has all the tools you would need to cook/eat a meal (except for a can opener which I really needed but couldn't find, but no big deal). The washer and dryer were such a big bonus for us! Came in real handy when we came back from hiking Manoa Falls in the pouring rain! Overall, this condo is honestly the best place out of all the hotels, motels, condos, rooms, etc. that I've ever stayed at. Will definitely be booking this same condo when we return to Waikiki in a few years.
