Short stay, close to several beach options

Looking for a place to stay before conference, and this worked out well. Walking distance to small rocky beach and close driving distance to several sites... historical town Koloa, Poipu beach, Kauai Coffee, and more.

Prince Kuhio resort was a great place to stay. Close to beaches, amenities and places to eat.

Excellent location with everything we needed to make a perfect vacation. Snorkelling just across the road was also nice.

Best stay ever!

The resort is centrally locally in Poipu and easy to get around. The unit was very clean and had everything a person needed to enjoy our stay! Looking for to booking next year!

Perfect Anniversary Getaway

This place was perfect for our first time visiting the island. We came here for our anniversary and we definitely want to come back. Great location close to everything. Our favorite place to eat was “Da Crack” literally the best Mexican food we’ve ever had.

The property was well maintained and pretty. Pool was nice and clean. Great parking. The unit was mostly what we thought. Studio sized, equipped with everything we would need. The location was excellent. My only suggestion would be to have a different living chairs with pullout foot rest. The existing ottomans took up a lot of space. The curtains in the unit were old and dingy and not what was pictured. Otherwise, really enjoyed our stay. Mahalo!

Beautiful apartment, no private balcony

Everything about this resort and apartment is perfect. The only things I have to say is that we have to take the key at Lihue (30 minutes from Poipu) at 3pm witch is not convenient when you have an early flight. Also, the pool doesn’t have that much sun during the day and the apartment balcony has no intimacy.

Perfect for our first time to Kauai!

We explored the whole island and Prince Kuhio was the perfect home base for us. Speaking of home, this property feels very homey. We loved being able to cook fresh, local fish and veggies we picked up each day. And, no matter what part of the island our daily adventure took us to, we were still able to visit the sea turtles and buy shave ice from Waikomo (except when Waikomo was closed...but we still visited the turtles).

A highly recommended Hawaiian experience we hope to repeat.

Located across the Road from the beach, yet included in quiet, very cost-effective and appointed with all necessary equipment. Aloha spirit in the air with everyone, and the air conditioning was a great Plus. On-site laundry with a pool available. For me the bed was comfortable, as was the studio-sized room and the fully functioning kitchen. The hosts really did go out of their way to make our stay a memorable occasion.

A Dream Vacation

The kitchen is well stocked with dish-ware, the AC unit works well, the furniture was in good condition and the place was very clean upon check in. The unit is close to parking both in the little outdoor spots and the covered garage. The pool is refreshing, but you are also close to the beaches. Overall, we loved it and would definitely stay there again!

Paradise in a wonderful location, highly recommend

It is on the first floor, and a mere 25 feet to the amazing pool( where we often were the only people there!)Condo. Equipped with coffee pot, blenders,kitchen pots, baking pans and any possible thing you need to cook or make smoothies in the unit. Air conditioning cools unit quickly. Beach chairs and umbrellas, plenty of towels. Kitchen was beautifully redone a couple of years ago, and is easy to navigate. Poipu location exceptional, beach across the street, can rent snorkel equipment there, as well as go to Beach House restaurant. Best sunset on the island, people gather on the lawn to watch the sun go down and the amazing surfers. The grounds are majestic and manicured beautifully. Excellent value for the price, clean, well appointed and all around fantastic place to stay. Quiet, convenient to all south shore has to offer, free and ample parking

Very nice!

It was very nice & clean! Everything is updated. The kitchen has Everything you need to cook a few meals there. Also, i loved that there was 2 Tommy Bahama chairs, a cooler & radio! One of the dressers was full of books & a few games. The bathroom was updated and very nice, only complaint was that the shower was a bit small. Im only 5'2" and 120 lbs and had a hard time getting completely clean. The shower head is low so your all over that back wall to get the most out of the water. The bed was perfect for my husband! For me it was a bit hard. But could of been worse! I just love a nice soft bed. It was very convenient having a shopping center so close! With food & shopping! Also the shuttle wasnt a far walk from there. The best beach to walk to was a mile & a half away. But sooooooo worth it!! No lava rocks and the waves were so much fun! That had to be the best beach we went to on the island! I forgot the name of the beach... but the restaurant called Lavas was right on it! And we ate there a lot! Great food! And well priced! Our favorite was the pineapple sriracha chicken strips! 🙌 so good! They also have no problem with you showing up & eating in you swimsuit! It was hard to find a beach with a restaurant or some sort of food close by. So i REALLY suggest going here! We ended up renting a car for the weekend to see the rest of the island, bc the shuttle doesn't run on Sunday's. That was totally worth it! Thank you for everything! We'll be back!

Fantastic beachside condo

Parking for the condo is minimal, just a small lot at the south end & only the lower level of the parking deck (it's marked). Parking spaces in Kauai are a lot more narrow than on the mainland so be aware of that. We were always able to find a spot, though. The view from the condo was amazing. It faces the pool which is surrounded by tropical plants. Lawai Beach is diagonally across the street & has the best snorkeling in the area. We even saw a sea turtle! Our first morning there happened to be a craft fair day at the beach & there were a lot of great vendors. The location of the condo is perfect being just 1.6 miles from the Shops at Kukui'ula, 2.2 miles from Old Koloa Town (go eat at Friendly Waves!), & both Kiahuna Beach & Poipu Beach are less than 5 minutes away. We would surf at Kiahuna & watch the sea turtles & monk seals come up to Poipu Beach every evening. We stayed for a week & the condo had plenty of bath towels plus 2 beach towels although we still did laundry once while we were there. The laundry room is down by the office across from the koi pond. It's $2.50 or $3 for the washers and $2.50 for dryers. They have a coin machine but you'll need to buy detergent in Lihue at Walmart or CVS at The Shops. On Thursdays there is a free hula show at the National Tropical Botantical Gardens a mile away. The condo has beach chairs so we took those everywhere. We're already planning a trip back next year & would love to stay in this condo. Great location & price!
