The Space:

This beautifully updated home is a great place to enjoy a family vacation on Cape Cod! Beautiful downtown Chatham is less than a mile away, so all the best restaurants, shopping, and entertainment are just around the corner. Not only are Lighthouse beach and Jackknife Cove just a couple miles away, this home is surrounded by ponds that are within walking distance. Emery Pond, White Pond, Perch Pond, and Lover's Lake are all half a mile or less from the house, and the Chatham Airport is just a few minutes away. The home itself is well-updated with modern appliances and plenty of room for 8 guests. The 1st floor of the home offers a living room, large sunroom, eat-in kitchen, two bedrooms, and a full bathroom. One of the first floor bedrooms offers a queen bed, while the other bedroom offers two twin beds. Upstairs there are two additional bedrooms; one has a king size bed and a crib, and the other has two twin beds. A brand new central A/C system will be sure to keep you cool on those hot summer days. The outdoor area is beautiful and offers a small deck with a gas grill and a dining area. The deck leads down into a great grassy backyard - perfect for kids and your dog to play or to relax and soak up the sun. This is a great location to experience Chatham and the surrounding areas of Cape Cod. Don't wait to book this awesome vacation home!

The property was very clean, had all the amenities needed. The location was great. We also enjoyed relaxing in the sunroom during the evening. I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful home!

This home is exactly as described! It is beautiful and extremely clean! Within walking distance to the rail trail and downtown Chatham! Very comfortable and had everything we could need! Would love to come back soon!!

Chatham get away

We had a great time! The house was perfect!! Spacious, clean and wonderful location approximately one mile from Main Street!! Plenty of shops restaurants and beaches in close proximity. Would definitely return!

Loved it!

The house was everything we needed for two families of 4 to have a great stay. It was clean, close to the center of town and had all the advertised features and more. Clean, Close and Comfortable

We rented 617 Stepping Stone for a last minute Covid escape. The property is managed by Del Mar Vacations which is the premium home rental service on Cape Cod. The attention to detail and follow up is top notch. The home is exactly as advertised. It is close to everything on the lower Cape (it’s literally on the bike trail), very cozy and very clean. We would love to go back to 617 Stepping Stone and will definitely use Del Mar for our rental needs for forward. They deserve 5 stars.

Home away from home

The cleanliness of the home made it feel like our home away from home. The home is very well kept and up to date. The kitchen is very well equipped, you’ll find everything you need to cook a complete meal. Hoping to be back next summer!

Very nice house

The house was very nice and comfortable, with lots of room. Everything was good with one exception: Listing doesn't mention limit of 8 people allowed on the property. Since we were in town for a family wedding, it was a disappointment that we could not have guests at the house.

Very Pleasant Surprise

This home is a gem. Very clean, comfortable, lots of room to spread out, many amenities and very close to Downtown Chatham. Del Mar Vacations was very organized, attentive, and provided a very clean home. I would definitely rent this cute place again.

Excellent Place to Stay in Chatham

Property clean and enough space for 5. Great location on bike path and close to town. Management company very responsive to all requests . We stayed for 6 weeks and worked out great.

Perfect Vacation

The house was absolutely spotless when we arrived! I have never rented a vacation house that was so clean and well-appointed. Everything was as advertised or better. Our family of 4 adults, one toddler and a dog was very comfortable and happy all week. The location is great too -- just a few minutes drive to any of the Chatham beaches and a short walk to swim in the pond. We were glad we brought our bicycles to take advantage of the rail trail. I hope we can go back next year!

We really enjoyed this property!

This house was perfect for our group. It was perfectly clean, and the location was great. All of our favorite shops and restaurants were close by, as well as a variety of beaches and ponds. Del Mar Vacations was friendly, professional, and attentive, and helped to make our stay that much better. I'm looking forward to bringing the other side of my family to this same house next year!
