Comfortable, private, well equipped home in great North Truro location

This home is in great condition. Comfortable indoor and outdoor furniture for gathering with family or relaxing on the porch to read. Very private location at end of a single lane side street, so no noise from neighbors or traffic. Bocce court was a fun bonus. Mindy communicated with us ahead of our stay to make check in seamless. We highly recommend !

Beautiful home

It’s a lovely spacious home, with three levels. The basement has a TV and play station, table tennis table, and lots of board games. On the main floor, the kitchen was spacious, there were large dining area and living room with comfortable couches. The upstairs was a bit stuffy (we stayed during a very warm week), but had two nice bedrooms and a full bathroom. We enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard for evening gatherings. Only two small complaints: the mattress on the main floor futon was shot. Impossible to sleep on. Also, we weren’t enchanted with Cold Storage Beach. It’s a long half mile walk from the house, and the water, while warm, is loaded with seaweed most of the time. Our grandchildren wouldn’t go in it! However, Corn Hill Beach, about fifteen minutes away by car, was much nicer in every respect. But all in all, we’d stay at this property again. It had everything we wanted for our family.

Bill: Thank you for the five star rating! It is very much appreciated. I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed the fire pit (one of my favorite nightly activities), our spacious home, and activities in the lower level. I would like to respond to your “two small complaints” to clarify for all future guests who may read your review. In regard to the upstairs feeling a bit stuffy: The house has central air conditioning (as well as a full house generator should power ever be lost). If you found the upstairs bedrooms to be stuffy, the remedy was to lower the temp for that zone. Referring to the futon being “shot”: The futon mattress is a futon mattress-- meaning it is traditionally firm. It is also relatively new. In addition, we provide a new pillow-top cushion for added comfort and softness. Clarification for future guests: Cold Storage Beach is 3/10 of a mile from the house (not a long half mile walk from the house), Corn Hill Beach is a mere 3 miles away (not a 15 minute ride) and Coast Guard Beach, my favorite on the ocean side, is 1.5 miles away. Again, thank you for your five star rating. We would be happy to welcome you back.

Beach House

Very well stocked house, in incredibly private location. Open stairway makes it not ideal for very young kids, but very comfortable for others. Walking to Cold Storage Beach a real plus.

Amazing and private stay in North Truro!

Mindy's house exceeded all our expectations -- it's spacious with a great layout for both both entertaining and downtime with family and friends. The location is ideal: walkable to the beach, corner market, restaurant, ice cream AND winery, but also very private -- you can't see neighbors from anywhere on the property! Mindy was very responsive anytime we had questions. We really loved our stay at this house and hope to return in future summers.

Secluded and Lovely North Truro Home

We enjoyed our stay at this North Truro very private property. The house was spacious with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths and an outdoor shower which we used. The kitchen was lovely and the owners supplied us with everything we needed. Thank you for that. Huge lobster pot, and just everything was.comfortable. Also there is a ping pong table which my grandson loved and used on a daily basis. Thank you.

Wonderful house, unbeatable location

In short, wow. This is a wonderful house in an unbeatable location. Walkable and bikeable to the beach and to a market (with awesome breakfast sandwiches and bagels), great seafood at Captain’s Choice, and Chequesett Chocolates. Surrounded by conservation land but a short drive to the national seashore, Provincetown, and outer cape activities. We got a national parks pass and spent time at Herring Cove, Race Point, and Marconi beaches. House was comfy, clean, spacious. Owners were responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Lots of fun games in the house including ping pong. Great outdoor spaces for eating, lounging, and star gazing. If you go with kids, check out the Puma Park playground nearby. My 6 year old rates the house “10 stars.” I have to agree.

Great Home

Family of five including three children ages 18-21-24. Perfect comfortable home as advertised with great location, lovely second story deck for morning coffee and star gazing. Close walk to bay for amazing sunsets and short drive to awesome ocean side beaches. Very peaceful location with great privacy and nice short ride along water into Ptown. I highly recommend Ciro & Sals for amazing vibe and Italian food as well. Will definitely stay again when in N Truro next. Thanks Mindy!

A great accommodation in North Truro

If your looking for a family friendly home this should be on your list. 4 bedrooms 3 Bathrooms was ideal for our family. I wouldn't say it was ideal for a family with very young children but it certainly met our needs. The house is situated within walking distance to one beach and a short ride to a number of others. There's a good restaurant , shops and winnery all within walking distance.

Perfect Truro vacation week

We enjoyed a wonderful week at your beautiful home! Four adults and 4 teenage boys were very comfortable and the house was so nicely laid out and decorated. We loved the spacious feel of the home and the deck and all of the furniture were just great. We spent time walking the conservation trails down to Cold Storage Beach; mornings on the deck with coffee and books til the boys woke up :) Afternoons at Herring Cove and Head of the Meadow beaches where we grilled out on the beach. Stopping off at the fish market to bring home cherrystones, oysters, shrimp cocktails and chowder to enjoy on the deck. We all very much enjoyed our time - it was so relaxing! We would love to visit again.

A terrific house for a large family!

The house was fantastic and we really hope Mindy and her family have a great rental season! Super large rooms, fantastic renovated and modern kitchen, plenty of social seating areas (indoors and out) so our big group could spread out. Very conveniently located to Provincetown, Wellfleet and the many surrounding smaller towns and beaches. We recommend buying a town beach pass for access to all Truro beaches-- which offer much variety and levels of accessibility. With thoughtful consideration to guests of all ages, the owners have many games available and we really had a good time with the ping-pong table too! The basement is a great hand-out space and super-cool on hot and muggy days. We will never rent a house again without A/C...it was just great!
