This is one of two log frame cabins located in Haywood County in a private, wooded setting. Great for a couple or solo traveler. If traveling with family/friends and prefer separate accommodations, these cabins are perfect for your group. Each cabin offers you the opportunity to enjoy the peace and quiet of woods while being conveniently located 3 miles to the charming town of Waynesville, NC, which offers unique shopping, a wide variety of restaurants, breweries, and seasonal festivals. Nearby Asheville, Maggie Valley, Cherokee, and Smokey Mountain National Park offer endless activities.
This cabin is tastefully decorated in a Deer theme. Our other cabin, VRBO listing #1148616, is decorated in a Bear theme. Our Deer cabin comes complete with a full array of kitchen amenities, appliances, a Beautyrest Queen mattress, quality linens, bath towels, ceiling fans, AC/heat, Direct TV service, Spectrum wireless Wi-Fi, YouTube TV streaming provided, a covered back porch with long distance mountain views, gas grill, outdoor patio bistro table with 2 chairs and 2 rocking chairs. The cabin has a double reclining sofa and a separate chair, a dining table with four chairs, a full bathroom with a shower stall, and a loft open to the living area accessible by ladder.

We offer a 7-night special and a 5-night weekday (Sun-Thur only) special. You must inquire when requesting reservation, then we will revise the calculated rate on VRBO prior to completion of your booking.

Summer Special Rates:
7-night weekly rate: $625.00
5-night weekday rate $425.00 (Sunday night through Thursday night)

Fall Special Rates:
7-night weekly rate: $700.00
5-night weekday rate: $475.00 (Sunday night through Thursday night)

No Monthly Rentals - Maximum Stay is 2 weeks.

We are an owner managed property. There are no third party costs passed on to the traveler often seen in other property rentals. Other than your VRBO fee, there are no hidden management charges and we are able to maintain a reasonable cleaning fee of $50.00.
There is minimum 2-night stay required, a maximum 2-week stay is allowed.

The cabin was clean and well maintained. The word in the description “tiny” was accurate. It was fine for just the two of us. The shower was quite small. But we had a relaxing visit. The hosts at this cabin are very, very helpful and courteous. They were very accommodating. I would recommend this place for one or two guest.

The property was beautiful, very clean and super cute. I highly recommend staying a Deer Cabin if you are coming to the area. So many fun things to see and do. The hosts were wonderful to work with and very accommodating to all our needs.

The cabin is a gem. It's very easy to get to and located close to everything you need, but once you arrive you'll feel like you're out in the best remote location. The cabin is super clean and very thoughtfully decorated. My favorite part is the front porch rocking chairs and the friendly hummingbirds. If you're very lucky you'll be treated to a wonderful rain shower; there's a tin roof over the porch and the sound is so soothing. I'm thrilled to have found this cozy cabin and plan to come back.

We have stayed here a few times now and it never disappoints. The cabins are always very clean. Conveniently located to Waynesville and surrounding areas. Quiet, secluded and peaceful for a perfect getaway. Mark and Gloria are absolutely wonderful!

Wonderful little cabin in a convenient location to everything Waynesville has to offer, yet in a peaceful wooded setting. The hosts were great about giving directions to the cabin and provided via a notebook in the cabin all sorts of information on dining and things to do in the area. The deck has a nice view of the mountains and was my favorite place to have coffee in the morning. Highly recommend.

I needed to decompress, to unplug, to stop peopling for a while. This was the perfect spot. Gloria left the windows open for me and the weather was perfect! I enjoyed the solitude and the quiet. I had coffee on the back deck, sat in the rocking chairs, watched the leaves rustle in the wind. I walked barefoot in the mossy yard - I hugged a tree. Sometimes you look for a place to stay while you are doing other things; sometimes you find a place to stay so you can stop doing all those other things...and remember who you are. I absolutely loved it!

Just the place we needed!

Perfect cabin for two! Super clean and had everything we needed! The host is on top of things and kept in touch. We would recommend to any who are looking for a getaway that is quiet. The leaves were gorgeous and the cabin sits right in the middle of a wooded area that is away from town. Highly recommend!

We are Gloria and Mark Ray. We love to vacation in this country's beautiful National Parks. In fact, after a vacation to the Smoky Mountain National Park more than 15 years ago, we both fell in love with the mountains of Western North Carolina and started making our plan to spend more time here. After many visits and much searching, we discovered this beautiful property and these two cozy cabins and decided this would be the location for our second act career.

We spent many years vacationing in this area and have traversed many roads throughout Haywood County. We fell in love with the location of this property because it is private with many trees and conveniently located off of a paved county road with a paved access road to the cabins, only 3 miles to downtown Waynesville. We also like being located near Smoky Mountain National Park, accessible to hiking, rafting, waterfalls, biking etc.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Cozy Cabin Lane is located off of a paved county road that takes you to an elevation conducive to beautiful mountain views by day and viewing the sparkling lights of Waynesville by night. Only a 3 mile drive to the town of Waynesville that offers all the amenities a wandering traveler could want. The property has (2) one bedroom, one bath log cabins name "Bear" & "Deer" with themed décor. They were built for your travel enjoyment and to experience the area with all the mountains have to offer. We hope to see you soon to enjoy our little piece of mountain paradise in Western North Carolina. We have a private driveway leading to the cabins and each cabin has it's own 2 car parking area. The cabins are located approximately 100' apart but are separated amongst the forest of trees in between and around the property. There are family farms nearby so it is not unusual to hear a rooster crow in the morning or cows moo'ing during the day! This is a great option for family and/or friends traveling together but wanting their own private cabin. It is a special treat vacationing this close with nature and having modern conveniences available to suit everyone's idea of the perfect mountain vacation. Some amenities vary but we are sure you will find what you're looking for in either of our “Bear” or “Deer” Cozy Cabins. New this year, we can now provide Spectrum wireless WIFI and YouTube TV streaming.
