This is one of two log frame cabins located in Haywood County in a private, wooded setting. Great for a couple or solo traveler. If traveling with family/friends and prefer separate accommodations, these cabins are perfect for your group. Each cabin offers you the opportunity to enjoy the peace and quiet of woods while being conveniently located 3 miles to the charming town of Waynesville, NC, which offers unique shopping, a wide variety of restaurants, breweries, and seasonal festivals. Nearby Asheville, Maggie Valley, Cherokee, and Smokey Mountain National Park offer endless activities.
This cabin is tastefully decorated in a Deer theme. Our other cabin, VRBO listing #1148616, is decorated in a Bear theme. Our Deer cabin comes complete with a full array of kitchen amenities, appliances, a Beautyrest Queen mattress, quality linens, bath towels, ceiling fans, AC/heat, Direct TV service, Spectrum wireless Wi-Fi, YouTube TV streaming provided, a covered back porch with long distance mountain views, gas grill, outdoor patio bistro table with 2 chairs and 2 rocking chairs. The cabin has a double reclining sofa and a separate chair, a dining table with four chairs, a full bathroom with a shower stall, and a loft open to the living area accessible by ladder.

We offer a 7-night special and a 5-night weekday (Sun-Thur only) special. You must inquire when requesting reservation, then we will revise the calculated rate on VRBO prior to completion of your booking.

Summer Special Rates:
7-night weekly rate: $625.00
5-night weekday rate $425.00 (Sunday night through Thursday night)

Fall Special Rates:
7-night weekly rate: $700.00
5-night weekday rate: $475.00 (Sunday night through Thursday night)

No Monthly Rentals - Maximum Stay is 2 weeks.

We are an owner managed property. There are no third party costs passed on to the traveler often seen in other property rentals. Other than your VRBO fee, there are no hidden management charges and we are able to maintain a reasonable cleaning fee of $50.00.
There is minimum 2-night stay required, a maximum 2-week stay is allowed.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

We have stayed here a few times now and it never disappoints. The cabins are always very clean. Conveniently located to Waynesville and surrounding areas. Quiet, secluded and peaceful for a perfect getaway. Mark and Gloria are absolutely wonderful!

Perfect cabin for two! Super clean and had everything we needed! The host is on top of things and kept in touch. We would recommend to any who are looking for a getaway that is quiet. The leaves were gorgeous and the cabin sits right in the middle of a wooded area that is away from town. Highly recommend!

Wonderful cabin

We had a fabulous stay at the Deer Cabin. It was exceptionally clean and the view from the deck was outstanding. The owners were wonderful. We hope to come back soon!

This cabin allows one to have the simplistic lifestyle. There is a/c and fridge, etc., but there is peace and quiet in the cool of the mountain. If you go there to get away from the frills of life and seek the simplistic back to nature at your doorstep experience, then you have the opportunity to experience a quite time with the beauty of God’s creation.

Wonderful secluded retreat!

This property is hidden and away from all worries. Love the view and the set up of the cabin. Plan on doing this again in the future!

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful and peaceful! Great location for easy access to Smokey mountains to View Elks. Blue ridge parkway is close. Delicious local restaurants in Waynesville. Just a perfect getaway at the cozy cabin. The hosts have made the entire visit exceptionally easy.
