Perfect cabin for two! Super clean and had everything we needed! The host is on top of things and kept in touch. We would recommend to any who are looking for a getaway that is quiet. The leaves were gorgeous and the cabin sits right in the middle of a wooded area that is away from town. Highly recommend!

Every minute in this cabin was, unfortunately, one less minute our reservation permitted us to enjoy it. Absolutely everything about it was fantastic! Mark and Gloria have created a wonderful business model (communication, location, cabin, amenities) that matches their warm and gracious personalities (I mean, no other hosts in the myriad of B&B’s we have stayed in, cared as much as they demonstrated—including a phone chat prior to arrival to answer our questions and explain facility nuances). Cabin is exactly as described in the listing. We thoroughly enjoyed the back porch. Having Direct TV and Spectrum internet were ideal pluses. Location is supremely private, not at all remote or isolated, very quiet and a short drive to downtown Waynesville. We’ve found our return-to place when visiting the Haywood County territory beckons. You will also.

Very friendly and helpful host. The cabin is very nice and clean. My wife and I enjoyed it very much. So, thankful we found it. And as a deer hunter, I enjoyed the deer theme. We will be back.

This cabin allows one to have the simplistic lifestyle. There is a/c and fridge, etc., but there is peace and quiet in the cool of the mountain. If you go there to get away from the frills of life and seek the simplistic back to nature at your doorstep experience, then you have the opportunity to experience a quite time with the beauty of God’s creation.

It is very beautiful with a beautiful view of the mountains. Very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place close to town. The owners were so nice and had it ready for our arrival.

Great Cabin

The cabin was very neat and clean and very comfortable. It had everything one would need. The back porch and its view were spectacular. If you are looking for a nice little cabin for 2 with spectacular views this is the place to rent. I would definitely rent it again. It is a 5 -star property.

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful and peaceful! Great location for easy access to Smokey mountains to View Elks. Blue ridge parkway is close. Delicious local restaurants in Waynesville. Just a perfect getaway at the cozy cabin. The hosts have made the entire visit exceptionally easy.

Although your neighbors were not far, the early autumn foliage was dense enough that we did not see or hear them. There was a feeling of being remote. The cabin was small but very adequate.

We are Gloria and Mark Ray. We love to vacation in this country's beautiful National Parks. In fact, after a vacation to the Smoky Mountain National Park more than 15 years ago, we both fell in love with the mountains of Western North Carolina and started making our plan to spend more time here. After many visits and much searching, we discovered this beautiful property and these two cozy cabins and decided this would be the location for our second act career.

We spent many years vacationing in this area and have traversed many roads throughout Haywood County. We fell in love with the location of this property because it is private with many trees and conveniently located off of a paved county road with a paved access road to the cabins, only 3 miles to downtown Waynesville. We also like being located near Smoky Mountain National Park, accessible to hiking, rafting, waterfalls, biking etc.

Cozy Cabin Lane is located off of a paved county road that takes you to an elevation conducive to beautiful mountain views by day and viewing the sparkling lights of Waynesville by night. Only a 3 mile drive to the town of Waynesville that offers all the amenities a wandering traveler could want. The property has (2) one bedroom, one bath log cabins name "Bear" & "Deer" with themed décor. They were built for your travel enjoyment and to experience the area with all the mountains have to offer. We hope to see you soon to enjoy our little piece of mountain paradise in Western North Carolina. We have a private driveway leading to the cabins and each cabin has it's own 2 car parking area. The cabins are located approximately 100' apart but are separated amongst the forest of trees in between and around the property. There are family farms nearby so it is not unusual to hear a rooster crow in the morning or cows moo'ing during the day! This is a great option for family and/or friends traveling together but wanting their own private cabin. It is a special treat vacationing this close with nature and having modern conveniences available to suit everyone's idea of the perfect mountain vacation. Some amenities vary but we are sure you will find what you're looking for in either of our “Bear” or “Deer” Cozy Cabins.
