GARAGE PARKING FOR ONE SMALL VEHICLE
The opening to the entrance of the garage is 10 feet 8 inches wide and 8 feet 5 inches high. The clearance inside the garage for vehicles to enter and exit allow for vehicles that are :
-Less than 7 feet wide – from driver side rearview mirror to passenger side rearview mirror.
-Less than 15 feet long from front of vehicle including accessory attachments to back of vehicle including bike racks etc.
-Less than 10 feet 8 inches from ground to top of car including any racks and luggage carriers.

Loved the space. Furniture was modern. Wi-Fi was great for working remotely. Easily walkable to tons of places. Near the art museum, Grove mall, lots of restaurants, lots of cute shops. Owner was good at communicating. Parking spot is a tight squeeze, but it's nice for those with a car.

Great location, plenty of restaurants and nightlife within walking distance. Unit is just as pictured, clean modern esthetic. Kitchen was well appointed though we didn’t use it much. Nice clean bathroom. Washer and dryer in the unit. Parking space in private garage. Old wood floors kind of squeaky but didn’t bother us. The unit is up several flights of stairs which any healthy able bodied person could handle but would be a non starter for someone with mobility issues.

Came in mid-week for couple nights. Excellent location for downtown activities. Very clean. Windows over looking the street are awesome Darkening blinds are great. Well stocked kitchen. Great communication with owner. Parking in garage is tight if you have a big car. Stairs going up to condo are narrow. Both these issues are well explained in the description of the space. So can't complain. Absolutely lovely place!

Great Asheville trip!
The property was the cleanest VRBO that I have stayed at and is definitely appreciated. The pictures are exactly what you get. There was a little more to the check in process with the key fobs but instructions were thorough. The key fob access to the door made you feel safe and secure in a pretty busy area of downtown. Everything in this property has been well thought out and maintained. It also had very nice extras such as a brita water filter in the fridge and several different coffee appliances to choose from. Surround sound throughout the property was fun as well. Great location and walking distance to restaurants, shops, and Whole Foods.

Property was clean and in a great location, near the highway but near great restaurants and within easy walk to the downtown sights. Nights were quiet in the room, even on a lightly busy street and other people staying in adjacent rooms. Bring a small car, the garage is tight with multiple cars in it.

Weekend getaway
This was a wonderful condo for a romantic weekend getaway. We definitely want to come back the next time we are in Asheville. The thoroughness of the instructions for checking in was fantastic. There were helpful and easy to read instructions throughout the condo. The location was great, noise was not too bad over the weekend. The decor and ambiance was lovely. It was great having a dedicated parking spot in the garage, we were able to fit our Subaru Forester, but just barely. So nothing much bigger than that would fit. The kitchen was very well equipped, we loved having the french press coffee available. Be sure to bring slippers for walking on the hardwood floors. All furniture was comfortable, great for eating, lounging, and sleeping. It was a wonderful place to stay during our lovely travel trip to Asheville.

Labor Day weekend getaway
Upon arriving at our destination, we noticed the ideal location of our VRBO. From the security of having a garage in the heart of downtown Asheville to a beautiful view of the streets, this rental property checked all the blocks we were looking for in a rental. The design of the property, the amenities, and the accommodations were ideal for a perfect weekend getaway. The host, Peter, was in constant communication and provided us with all we could ask for.

I grew up all over NC, and currently live in Charlotte, but spent a lot of time in Asheville growing up. I have always loved the how vibrant and unique the city is and was thrilled to have an opportunity to be part of the culture. I spend most of my time being a dad and husband but when I find free time love to duff it around on the golf course, or try to create something new with my hands.

Why they chose this property

Built in 1924, 59 Broadway came on the market in 2013 and was unusual in that it had only served as warehouse space with consequently very little infrastructure, thus providing a clean canvas for my modernist vision. Having sat empty for a decade, it was in remarkably great shape. But most importantly, it had SOUL.

After a year of planning, a project incorporating the interplay of natural, urban, and personal environments with attention to space, lighting, quality, and simplicity was begun. Twelve-foot ceilings, original hardwood flooring, simple layout, and uncluttered space help imbue the feeling of warmth and calm that initially drew me in. Unlike any other historic building downtown, it’s newly engineered windows all along the northern wall provide an abundance of natural light further enhancing the unique ambiance.

What makes this property unique

I am lucky enough to continue offering this property that my father, and his wife Constance, along with the seasoned guidance of an interior designer designed and brought to life. Furnishings were hand picked and chosen to make each unit feel like a home, including art and ceramics made by local artists who are also friends. I have always loved the bird’s eye view of the city’s comings and goings while perched on the full length window seats. Mesmerizing.

I hope you agree that the integrated sound system rocks and that the splurge mattresses feel heavenly after a day of exploring all that this vibrant city and surroundings has to offer.
