Breckenridge 2BR / 2BA Ski In Ski Out Condo en Peak 8

Nuestro condominio está situado en el pico 8 a unos 50 metros de la carrera de las cuatro en punto. ¡Así que hay un acceso muy fácil hacia y desde la montaña! Ideal para padres que quieren desconectarse mientras su cónyuge cuida a los niños. También estamos ubicados a 2 cuadras de la ruta del transbordador para su conveniencia a la base del Pico 8 o al pueblo.

Nuestro condominio está muy limpio y cómodamente decorado. El dormitorio principal tiene un baño adjunto y una cama queen, el segundo dormitorio tiene dos camas individuales. Hay un futón extraíble en la sala de estar para acomodar a 2 adultos o niños más pequeños si es necesario. La casa tiene una gran chimenea, VCR / DVD, juegos de mesa, videojuegos y una lavadora / secadora.

Ocupaciones:
Invierno: Ski-in Ski-out, Fácil acceso al remonte más alto de América del Norte, The Nordic Center está a una corta distancia a pie (aproximadamente un cuarto de milla) donde puedes disfrutar de las raquetas de nieve (¡prueba el recorrido a la luz de la luna!) y esquí de fondo!

Verano: senderismo, ciclismo de montaña, tobogán alpino y parque de atracciones en Peak 8, lagos y arroyos cercanos para pescar, kayak, paseos en bote y picnic, ¡y paseos en globo aerostático!

Great Trip

We enjoyed our stay- the condo had plenty of room for 4 adults- short walk to catch a shuttle or to ski to Snowflake lift. We would definitely stay here again!

The condo was great! The location is fantastic. The snow conditions were unusual this year (there really wasn’t much snow at all!), but we still managed to ski out and ski back through the neighborhood. Access to walk downtown is also good. It was also the perfect location to head out and do some unusual December hiking!The condo itself was well stocked with the basics. We made all of our meals there. Fireplace was lovely. Having the washer a dryer right in the unit is a bonus. Detergent and everything was there as well. Everything was very comfortable. We would absolutely stay there again!Thank you, Michelle!

Great location

The location is as good as described with quick access to and from Four O'Clock, and just a few minutes' drive from town. The condo was cosy and clean with comfortable bedding. We had a great time; thank you Michelle.

Fantastic place to stay for skiing.

This is a wonderful place to stay for a smaller group. We had wonderful access to skiing access point for the Four O’clock Trail. The kitchen is the best I have used, well stocked and equipped, my group cooked every night with no issues. Only critique is the poor ventilation, however, that was quickly mitigated with opening a window or screen door. Overall, great place!

Cute, well stocked, just steps from slope

This was our second visit and we loved it. The condo is just steps from the parking lot, so truly ski in and ski out. It’s neat, well stocked and comfortable. The owner is great and is very responsive. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful Condo!

There were so many wonderful features of this condo. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes, silverware, glassware, pots & pans and spices/staples. The beds were very comfortable, washer & dryer worked great, the unit was clean and the location so convenient for ski in/out. Host was friendly and great to communicate with. We enjoyed this condo and would definitely rent it again. Thank you!!

Great ski in ski out location

Was just the right size for our family of four who were looking for accessibility to the mountain for skiing! Kitchen well stocked with all the essentials! Easy to communicate with Michelle to arrange an earlier check in and also receive parking pass and other paperwork. Lots of games and puzzles for kids and adults. Couple of very small issues like a lightbulb out and dripping bath tub faucet but nothing major at all. Overall a great location and property and would definitely consider staying again! Thanks!

A wonderful hostess and a very nice condo

I cannot say enough about Michelle, our hostess. She was incredibly gracious and considerate and went the extra mile to make sure that our stay was trouble free. The condo is very well laid out, pleasantly decorated, and well equipped. The views, especially from the living room, are lovely. If you come to ski, it is about a 200 yard walk from the condo to a ski run. We had the good fortune to have great snow but that caused a slight problem as the snow plows built a wall between the condo and the slopes which required some effort to climb (for me, but I am 70 years old). Other than that we had a marvelous time and highly recommend the condo and its owner.

We had a good time

It was a nice stay. The stairs took some getting used to and the place could really use a sofa instead of a futon (it was wildly uncomfortable) but overall, not bad. It’s not “ski in/ski out”, but it worked out. The instructions on getting to the place were a little confusing, (the condos are actually called Grandview) and the code to get in the condo should be up by the address on the instructions sheet, easy to find, instead of hidden at the end of a paragraph of directions on how to get there from Denver (we didn’t get the directions until the day if our trip so couldn’t print them out and only put the address in google maps instead trying to read the directions from a phone). Overall, clean, spacious and all that is needed is there. I’d stay again and recommend to others. My brothers and I enjoyed it. Thank you.

Four o'clock run

The condo was in a great location. Four O'Clock was just across the street, so easy in and out. At first I felt the condo was too small., Really, it's the bathrooms are small. It's really not big enough for 4 adults. The beds were very uncomfortable. The couch is a futon, and not comfortable at all. Needs more sitting. Again, not big enough for 4 adults. And need's more lighting. This IS the best stocked condo we've rented, so that's a plus. And was very clean.

Hello Donna and thank you for your honest review. We are sorry you were disappointed in the size of our bathrooms and the comfort of the beds and futon. In our description we have pictures of the bathrooms and also describe the couch as a futon, which provides extra sleeping should people need it. As a ski in/ski out property we are very affordable and know we are not competing with the brand new Ski Hill One Luxury properties of the world. So it is a personal choice. We will take into account the lighting. Thank you very much for the suggestion.

Perfect winter condo

For a boarder and skiers, best for the cost

If you are there for skiing, you can’t get better for the price. For me, it’s a ski in/ski out. Walk about 2 minutes and you’re there. Just plan it ahead of time and you’ll be glad you did. The owners were very nice and responsive. I will say, that this place is best served with a max of 3, unless you’re bringing kids. I will definitely look to stay here again. Thank you!!

Wonderful host and excellent location!

Everything you could need is provided and the location is only three or four minutes drive to the lodge at the base of Peak 8! Didn't get to try the ski in ski out feature, unfortunately. Recommend highly!

Perfect for our family of 4!

This unit had everything you needed and was perfect for our three night stay. You can definitely ski out and back which was a plus if you didn't want to drive and deal with parking. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed and the washer and dryer were super nice to have. The location is a little tough to get Uber or Lyft (as I think is most of Breckenridge) but you just have to plan ahead and expect it will take a little extra time. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful family vacation!

We spent New Year’s week here and loved every minute. The location is great for skiing out/in, and is also a short drive to the top of Peak 8 for dropping the kids at Ski School. The condo was the perfect size for our family of 4, and the kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need for cooking meals. The full sized washer and dryer were great, too. Overall, this was a wonderful experience!

Cozy, clean, and close to the base of Peak 8.

It was great to be both close to the base of Peak 8 (walking distance), as well as close downtown Breckenridge. The grocery store (City Market), downtown, and the rec center are all a very short drive from the condo (approx 5 min). I would recommend having a car, but if you don't, the Free Ride bus system stop is close too (3 minute walk, across Ski Hill Rd). You can see the town of Breckenridge from the balcony. The kitchen has a microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, garbage disposal, large kitchen sink, toaster, toaster oven and cabinets fully stocked with glasses/dishes/utensils/cooking equipment. The washer and dryer in the condo were great to have. The condo comes with wifi, nice towels, plenty of storage, humidifiers (one for each bedroom), comfortable beds, unscented laundry detergent and fabric softener, paper towels, shampoo & conditioner, soap, garbage bags, toilet paper, extension cords, and plenty of tissues. There are also board games and books on the bookshelf in the living room. We had a small issue while we were there and Michelle responded right away. She also provides helpful information for your stay in Breckenridge. We enjoyed eating at "The Warming Hut" (Main St), "CB & Potts" (Main St), and "Crepes a la Carte" (Main St - open late Christmas Eve and and open at 8:00 Christmas morning). The "Ski Hill Grill" at the base of Peak 8 was pretty good. "Pioneer Run", at the top of Peak 7 is expensive, but the food is very good, the facility is great, and the view is stunning. We enjoyed our stay, and I would recommend staying here.

Excellent stay

Everything was perfect... Great location - fantastic to be able to walk to the slopes (kids for first chairlift, me a little later!), and to come back for lunch (saves a fortune!), and parking was easy. The condo was clean and well-equipped. The owner, Michelle, was great and easy to work with, and very responsive to any enquiries we had. We would thoroughly recommend it - unless it's a week we want to go! ;) Thank you!

JP is a Quebecois and Michelle is a Long Islander. We met at Breckenridge at Vista Haus while skiing one cold, cold January day. She gave him her number and he invited her to have a proper meal. We love this place and we are hoping our little girl grows up with a love for the outdoors and the snow as well.
