Casa de Turtle Bay sits on a large lot in a cul-de-sac, just minutes off the I-5 in South Oceanside. This centrally located home allows short drive times to the San Diego Safari Park (30 minutes), Legoland (15 minutes), the San Diego Zoo (45 minutes), Sea World (40 minutes), Disneyland (55 minutes), Knott’s Berry Farm (55 minutes), and a very short drive to downtown Carlsbad, downtown Oceanside, or Oceanside Harbor! You’re close to everything you could want while on vacation. If you are a beach lover, the Pacific Ocean is just 4.9 miles away. We have boogie boards, coolers, chairs, beach toys, umbrellas and an endless supply of beach towels on site to make your beach day perfect.

YARDS: Not feeling the beach? Well, who needs the beach when you have a backyard like this? Relax on the canopy or under the covered lounge, and have some family fun with our custom putting green. Take a dip in the large tropical pool, (warmed throughout the day with solar pads), and enjoy a natural massage compliments of the cascading waterfall. (Heating the pool is an option.) Soak in the hotel-sized Jacuzzi, and enjoy a barbecued meal at the fire pit that comfortably seats 12. The outdoor kitchen island is equipped with a new gas barbecue, one side burner and lots of prep space. You can also enjoy the peaceful tranquility of the gated courtyard in the front of the home. Listen to the calming waters of the fountain while reading on the porch swing. Both front and back yards are very private with several fruit trees ranging from lemon, lime, avocado, pomegranate, orange, loquat, and many more. Please help yourself to some fruit.
BEDROOMS: This two-story house offers close to 2,800 square feet of living space. It features new wood flooring upstairs, new flooring downstairs are a beautiful handmade saltillo terracotta tiles, oak cabinetry in the kitchen, an open floor plan, five beautifully appointed bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The “Whale Room” contains two twin bunk beds, books, and a treasure chest of toys.
The “Seashell Room” boasts a comfortable queen size bed and plenty of closet space.
The spacious master “Elephant Room,” features a new California King size bed, a 50’ flat screen TV, and a large walk-in shower. These 3 rooms share a spacious master bathroom with an adjoining powder room.
The second master suite, the “Jungle Room,” is a large, one bedroom that includes a New Cal King bedroom set, and a private bathroom. 60' TV

The downstairs “Seahorse Room” has a new queen sized bed, with French doors leading to a private courtyard. 55 inch TV. A full bathroom is adjacent and also contains access to the private courtyard.
Need more beds? Jungle room has a futon couch that makes into a bed.

LIVING SPACE: With its upgraded windows, multiple ceiling fans and insulated walls, this home provides comfortable coolness, even during those rare San Diego heat waves! The gourmet kitchen includes cookware, dinnerware and utensils for up to 12 guests. I have also provided a juicer, Panini maker, crock-pot, blender waffle maker, and more to make you feel right at home. The family-sized dining area seats 8 comfortably, with 4 more seats at the bar. The adjacent family room has an entertainment center featuring a huge 65’ HDTV, digital cable, DVD player, Bose surround sound, new comfortable sofas, and a leather chair. This area is perfect for family entertainment or relaxing after a long day of sightseeing! Other amenities include high speed, wireless Internet.

The state of the art game room will keep you or your kids entertained for hours! It features a classic arcade game table with 412 classic games, wheel of fortune casino game, pinball, and my favorite game Dragon Lair. There is also shuffleboard, a high-end electric dartboard, a foosball table, PlayStations, Wii, ping pong table and more.

PARKS: If you love nature you are in luck! Nestled in the northeastern part of Carlsbad is a 10-minute walk to a historical wilderness - an ancient volcano and dam dating back to the Second World War. Lake Calavera Preserve is a hidden gem. Amongst the growing city of Carlsbad, Lake Calavera Preserve is 262 acres of wildlife that supports plant and animal life only found in Southern California. Hike, bike, walk, or run through this amazing natural experience. Don't forget your camera! At the entrance to the preserve is Oak Riparian Park. This area offers 2 brightly colored play structures for little ones under 5 and for kids over 5. There are plenty of picnic tables and grassy areas for kids to run and play ball. The beauty of the area is worth a visit just in itself.

GOLF COURSES: Four Seasons Aviara Resort Golf Club - 10 minutes, The Crossings at Carlsbad - 15 minutes, Encinitas Ranch Golf Club - 20 minutes, La Costa Resort - 15 minutes and Carlsbad Golf Center. (Driving range within minutes from the house) Of course we can’t forget the world renowned Torrey Pines Golf Course which is host to the Farmers Insurance Open, on the PGA Tour - 30 minutes!

EXTERNAL SECURITY CAMERA: Guest acknowledges that there is a Ring Video Doorbell mounted on the external wall, monitoring the public area outside of the home entrance, driveway and side of the home. This is for security reasons, including remotely monitoring who accesses the home which is essential when the unit is unoccupied in-between guests. It also helps with identity verification when we arrange for maintenance tasks with local contractors/handymen/specialists. Noise aware units are required for the home by the city of oceanside and are placed inside and outside of the home. automated solution to noise issues during guest stays.
