About Chris Mangano: Cmangano38@comcast.net

I bought this property as a gift to myself and a legacy to my family, after I raised them and sent them to college. I work full time plus as a Home Care Nurse. I'm on the right in the photo. The other lady is my cousin

Chris Mangano: Cmangano38@comcast.net purchased this cottage in 2014

Why Chris Mangano: Cmangano38@comcast.net chose Cape Cod

This house is an all season house that has such good bones that reflects a 1950's standard. We did updating with a deck, outdoor shower and all new appliances, as well as a new bathroom and kitchen updates. The yard is regraded and seeded, with a new gated picket fence added this spring. This property is a total joy for me to share with friends, old and new.

What makes this cottage unique

What makes this home great is the location. It is 10' from the Exit 9 on Rt. 6 at Dennisport, near the major shopping area. It is an easy drive to get there, and then it is off of the main roads. There is no fast traffic to deal with. The neighborhood is quiet, which allows for walks, bike riding and great stars on a clear night! A nice walk in the evening will show a sky bright with stars unhampered by lights.

Very comfortable and convenient. Clean and well-cared-for with everything you could need.

This little cottage will hug you like a soft robe with all the little touches of home. So much better than motel rooms! We appreciated the remodeled bathroom with plenty of storage and a wonderful rain shower.

Sweet little home

  • 4 of 5

We loved our time in Dennisport in mid-June. This house is super cute. We are a family of 4 with a medium dog. It fit our needs wonderfully. We enjoyed the 1/2 mile walk to the beach straight down one road. The town was charming and when we were there very quiet. Our children loved the large fenced in yard to play with our dog. The home was well-stocked with beach stuff, bicycles, etc. We appreciated Chris providing us sheets/towels as we arrived by plane. The outdoor shower was amazing- love looking at the blue sky above. The only improvement I would recommend is that the closets be cleaned out more. They were pretty cramped with extra bedding, etc. It would have been nice to have more closet space to store our luggage etc. I realize there is not a ton of storage, but maybe extra linens etc. could be kept under beds etc. The house is small and quaint, but we felt it was spacious enough for a family of 4. The outdoor living space provided additional options for hanging out/eating. To those who are not familiar with Cape Cod- word of caution- it was not warm. We all had to buy additional sweatshirts in town, good news though they were all on sale. I would 100% recommend this home.

Adorable, well located cottage with fencing for our puppy

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at Chris' cottage. It had everything we needed for us and our puppy and we loved the fact that we could have her in the completely fenced in backyard to play fetch and tire her out. The cottage has a beautiful bathroom, comfortable couches and beds and is well located for day trips throughout the Cape. Inman beach was very close and easy to walk to and there was a cute park across the street from it for us to take our puppy for walks. Can't wait to book the cottage again for next year!

Lovely house

  • 4 of 5

We had a grand time. My dog loved the backyard. The neighborhood was so nice and quiet. When walking the dog everyone greeted us and welcomed us to the 'hood! The house was perfect for my sister and I. Absolutely loved the shower, best I've ever had when traveling by far. The only drawback for us was having to bring our own bed linens and towels. We were on a road trip and we're heading to Florida for the winter so car was packed to the max. The location was also great for touring the cape. We had visitors stop by from Boston and they too liked the location and neighborhood. I must apologize because after leaving I realized we left some recycle items in the bins. Sorry Chris!
