Very nice cabin.

We really enjoyed our stay, especially the wood stove and hot tub. We saw an abundance of wildlife right from the porch and on our walk around the lake. Jody had everything there that you would need and was very accommodating.. Thanks!

We loved the property and location. Easy to find, accommodating, and stress free all the way.

First off, we found Jody to be very easy to work with, I even called about fires and flooding in the county. She was very informative, and we had a nice chat.

We found the cabin to be everything we expected it to be, and more. The hot tub durring a thunderstorm may not have been the smartest idea, but amazing, as well as the stars the following night. The peace and tranquility of being outside was good for the soul. Loved hearing nothing at all, and then the wind whispering thru the pine trees.

The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for our long weekend stay. We couldn’t bring our paw kids, for the fact we have 5, and didn’t have room for all of them in our vehicle. The cabins dog run was nice for those wishing to bring theirs along tho.

We didn’t see many animals from the cabin itself, but between the highway and the cabin we saw several deer early morning and late evening. We saw a elk heard East or Divide.

We would definitely want to stay again if ever in the area.

Thank You for sharing you cabin with us.

Nice quiet cabin for both of us and our dog.

  • 4 of 5

It’s a peaceful cabin that was perfect for a weekend get away. Loved the location for our dog. Enjoyed the hot tub as well.

The only things that were not the greatest were the uncomfortable couch and loud fridge. Other than that, it was great. Really enjoyed 11 Mike Canyon a lot and being away from people! 👌?🏼?

Owner's Response: Hi, glad you liked the cabin. The couch is a futon, for kids to sleep on when they come with their parents, so yes, it's not as comfortable as a couch. As for the fridge, I only hear it when I stand right by it.

Amazing place to get away!

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect place for me and my wife to just get away and get "unplugged" from society for a few days. The pictures don't do it justice! This place is very well kept and very cozy and comfortable. The Hot Tub and Hammock were the icing on the cake. We had a great time at Pike's Peak, Royal Gorge, the Wolf Sanctuary and just seeing all of the beautiful area sites and landscaping. The owner of this cabin was so friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place for anybody that just wants to relax and enjoy life!

Clean, dog friendly and perfect location

  • 5 of 5

This is a nice cozy and clean dog friendly cabin. Thank goodness for the fan as it really helped keep the place cool. We had an event at Mueller State Park and this was less than 15 minutes away. People in the town were friendly and even allowed us to bring the dog on the patio with us. I would stay here again.

Owner's Response: The weather was hotter than normal last weekend. Sorry. Normally the weather at the cabin is perfect in the summer (65 - 75 degrees). Thanks for coming and I hope you come again!
