Beautiful views from a beautiful property!
We enjoyed our stay with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The upstairs is a wonderful master retreat with great spots to share with your kids and still have a your own space. The yard was fantastic and the extra room in the garage was perfect for the kids to hangout in when they weren’t enjoying the spacious yard and the fire pit. We loved having the beach and walking/biking path right out the front door but will bring our own bikes next time. Beds were comfy and warm, plenty of beach and bath towels. Kitchen was fairly well stocked and the extra frig in the garage was perfect with all the cooking we did.
Great location, solid communication, beautiful property. Terrific all around.
Gorgeous views with a great fire pit
I rented two houses side-by-side on this quiet street in Fort Bragg. The other home fell short of expectations, but this home exceeded it! There was a great yard for the kids to play in, and a gorgeous master suite that actually housed all the kids and their young parents so that the fun didn't have to end when they were put to bed early. And the fire pits (two!) were a highlight for many of us! The house appears to have been updated even more than I could tell in the photos, and the kitchen was fabulous with professional appliances. They also had several bikes, which added to taking in the scenery. We would definitely return.
Our family has scheduled an abalone dive trip in the Fort Bragg area for each of the last twelve years. We started small with just two dads (cousins) camping in Mackerricher SP. Over the years the group has grown to include wives, children, their friends and other enthusiasts. We've always reserved several camp sites at the park and often augmented the trip with rental homes. Seahorse Fin is by far the BEST complimentary property we've ever had! The camp sites were a relaxing 15 minute walk from the house and the array of bikes made exploring for the kids super easy. Access to the beach and the beauty in both directions was remarkable. The bedrooms and sleeping accommodations were perfect for my wife and family, her sister/family, my cousin and her son. Everyone else set-up tents at the park but spent time for breakfasts and dinners at the house. The kitchen is beautifully appointed and the seating inside and on the deck was more than ample. We did a big fire in the backyard pit one evening and used the fish cleaning station for both abalone and freshly speared rock cod. It was a great property and exceeded our expectations! Thanks for helping to make our Ab Dive Trip '17 extra special!!
Good fun - nice, big house.
We spent quite a bit of time on the beach, did some abalone diving and biking nearby. They have a couple of big fire pits, which they supplied with wood, that we enjoyed both nights. They also have a fish cleaning station out back where we could clean our abalone. The owners were very responsive to my questions and issues - the only issue being that the BBQ needed propane, which they brought over the next day.
A truly relaxing beach side get away!
We were planning a family get together and this house provided us with everything we could have wished for!! The kids loved the proximity to the beach and we loved sitting on the porch watching the sunset on the ocean : ) The facilities were in great condition and plenty of beds and linens to choose from!! Thank you Karyn!!
