About this property

Oceanfront - Private Beach! - Includes parking.

Our spectacular beach property is 'On The Sand,' offering its own private beach while providing white water views and soothing ocean sounds (you hear the surf in every room). It has a bright beachy decor and a quiet location - conveniently located halfway between the Village in Carlsbad and the Pier in Oceanside (we walk on the sand to both).

This completely renovated home is fully furnished (we relax here frequently) and offers sweeping ocean views from La Jolla to Catalina. You can watch the dolphins play or the whales spout from the living room, deck, or beach.

At night, visit one of the area's fine restaurants or simply dine on the beach while watching the beautiful sun set over the Pacific. During the day, relax on the beach or enjoy the numerous activities that are unique to this fabulous destination.

This listing is for UNIT A.

UNIT A (sleeps 1 to 6): Has 2 bedrooms & 1 bathroom and has a California king size bed in each of the bedrooms and a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room.

There are 3 different units. Unit A (2 Bd, 1 Ba - sleeps 6), Unit B (2 Bd, 2 Ba - sleeps 6), and Unit C (1 Bd, 1 Ba - sleeps 4). Unit B is VRBO #882234, Unit C is VRBO #253036, and all 3 units are VRBO #882235.

The units are vertically arranged with Unit A at the street level, Unit B in the middle, and Unit C at the sand level. All 3 units face the ocean, have oceanfront decks, and share the private beach.

Our beach house is 'well cared for' since we personally (as well as our family) stay in all 3 units, and we do have wireless broadband internet access. Over the years, we have had 100s of delighted beach loving guests.

This is the best value in the whole area. The house is right on the sand. Unlike many houses in the area it has stairs leading directly to the beach. Clean and comfortable. Owners are very responsive. We have stayed here many times and plan on returning in the future.

A Perfect Oceanside Getaway

This property has stunning views, updated decor, and everything you need for a great stay. The kitchen is well stocked, there are sand toys for the kids, and the owner Kelley is so responsive. We even saw dolphins from the deck! We will definitely be back!

The view was gorgeous at all times, but specially around sun set. The beds were comfy, and the kitchen was well stocked. They have plenty of fans for summertime. Looking forward to the next time we can stay here again!

Relaxing on the Beach

The unit was very clean and as described. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking supplies and spices. Unit A also has an amazing view of the ocean from the balcony. Great place to stay!

Always a wonderful stay

This is our second time staying in this rental (first time in unit A). There were gorgeous views every morning and the private beach is excellent for small children. Property owner was great. We are already looking forward to our third stay

Best Ocean View

The best place in Oceanside to experience the ocean 24/7. Relaxing, comfortable and the location-great. Every amentity you can think of is provided for you. The owner is very friendly and available anytime. The only place we would stay in Oceanside.

Ocean Bliss

We had a wonderful time during our stay. Listening to the ocean sounds, watching the surfers, seeing the dolphin swim by and walking on the beach made our stay. Our day would start with coffee on the balcony watching the surfers and end with cocktails on the balcony watching the gorgeous sunset. Thanks for a great week.

Location!

The place is in an absolutely beautiful location, with a stunning view of the ocean. Access to the beach is convenient and everything we needed was just a short walk away. We were able to enjoy the downtown area as well as different restaurants in the area. The house was clean and welcoming. Our host and hostess were very friendly and made our stay feel like home.

Great spot for surfing

Great location with surfing nearby. Just had to walk a few blocks to the beach since even at low tide there was no beach exposed behind this property. Views were great.Property was nice & had everything we needed. Would definitely come back.

Family vacation

Beautiful view from our room which was the top/street level. The private fenced in yard with sand was perfect for our grandsons 1 and 3 years old. The fire pit and bbq grill was also a great addition to our stay. We will definitely go back !!

We had long desired to have a beachfront home and when we found this gem we were thrilled. We selected this area because it is right in the middle of a beautiful wide sandy beach that stretches for 3 miles from the village of Carlsbad to the pier in Oceanside. We also liked the fact that the house was located in a less dense area with mostly beach homes. Most of all we were excited by the private beach and the fact that we didn’t have to cross a street or get in a car to enjoy the ocean!
