Thoughtfully designed and decorated, this lovely updated home is perfect for shared vacations. Uniquely situated on the cul-de-sac and peninsula of Silver Moss, this home has magnificent views of wildlife, the lagoon, and the Turtle Point golf course. This home is located in the back half of the island in the historic Vanderhorst Plantation. A relaxing, private neighborhood pool is just moments away, and the beach can be found five minutes from the rear of the home.

Upon entering the home, a bright and open floor plan greets you with a coastal feel. The home has updates such as new carpet, bedding, decor and furniture. The updated kitchen and several porches make this home very comfortable. There is a living room with assorted seating and an adjacent dining area that seats eight. This home provides many decks and porches to engulf yourself in the Kiawah nature and sounds. You'll be sure to hear the herons crooning across the lagoon.

There are two bedrooms on the first floor, both with King beds and en-suite bathroom. There are two bedrooms upstairs featuring king beds, en-suite bathrooms, and their own large porches. The washer and dryer are also located on the second floor. Additionally, there is a gas grill on the side open porch.

Older house, but very nice location and we loved all the king size bedrooms. We were in town for the marathon weekend and loved being right on the course to cheer on the runners. Easy access to the shuttle stop and beach. Only a 10-15 minute walk to The Sanctuary. We loved our stay!

We had such an incredible stay in this gorgeous Kiawah home! It was perfect for our family and 2 toddlers, we loved the screened in porch and bathrooms are all updated beautifully. Every room has a king bed and its own full bathroom which was lovely. The home had everything we needed and was a perfect location to walk or bike to the beach or pool (you do however need to rent bikes, beach chairs and beach towels separately). Only a 10 or so minute bike ride to night heron park with playground and 5-10 mins bike to the sanctuary. Would absolutely stay here again!

Incredible Fall Weekend

This was one of the the most memorable vacation houses my family and I have ever stayed at. The serene views of nature and the good course, close access to the beach and shops and the beauty of the neighborhood contributed to a truly amazing stay. We will be back !

Excellent location - easy access to the community pool and beach. Fabulous front and back porches which provided some "escape" space and great for a rainstorm. Four bathrooms and four bedrooms helped with families coming in from across the country. Would rent again!

This was our first time to visit Kiawah Island and this house was a perfect fit for our family. The location is close to the beach and close to the middle of the resort community. The house is well stocked with the exception of a few things in the kitchen. I would definitely stay here again and look forward to our net trip to Kiawah.

A perfect house

This house was perfect for our family stay at Kiawah. We loved the location beside the lagoon, the golf course and the bike path. The house was furnished very comfortably and attractively. We loved having 4 bedrooms all with king size beds. My favorite feature was the screened porch with nice furniture and ceiling fans that work! The kitchen was well equipped and we prepared every meal there during our week long stay. We would definitely stay here again!

The house has great space and is in a good location. It definitely needs some TLC.

The property is managed by Sweetgrass and they are nice but not always helpful. The “lock box “ to the house is not a typical box and in an odd place, which was not communicated to us properly. Finding this at night was a challenge. The cable and internet went out day 2 and never got restored. Sweetgrass has no IT support. The washer was out of balance and wouldn’t spin or drain. The Dryer vent was too clogged to dry the clothes ( gave us a warning code ) so we had to unhook the out vent from the wall just to get our clothes dry. The upstairs air conditioning worked intermittently. The kitchen has good space and is adequately stocked. Bathrooms are outdated but adequate. I think if all amenities were actually working I would give this place at least 4 stars. We stayed 6 nights and received a 200 dollar credit for not having internet or cable. We should have been given at least a days refund.

Family vacation

Cleanliness was a problem. Appeared to be pet hair on living room furniture. Outdoor furniture was covered with pollen and tabletops had not been cleaned in some time. First floor bedroom shower did not drain and tv does not work. Kitchen sink does not drain likely due to improperly installed garbage disposal. There was mold in both 2nd floor showers. Poor selection of cookware. Bring your own cleaning products. Lower level driving net and putting green are not as pictured. It’s just a storage area filled with trash. There are only 3 wine glasses. The coffee maker uses basket filters which are not sold at the grocery store on the island. The refrigerator needs a new water filter. The pool opened on the day we left. We did not contact the property manager regarding these problems during our stay. Overall I would look for another property on returning to Kiawah. The island is beautiful.

We have been coming to Kiawah for well over 20 years. This was the best house we have rented in the nicest location. The Sweetgrass staff was very helpful with issues(which were very minor) and responded promptly! The house was very clean and well equipped. We will return!

Had a great visit in Kiawah. The house is a great location near the beach and on a golf course. It was nice to see all new floors in the house and new paint. We enjoyed seeing the big alligator that sometimes is on the golf course behind the house. My kids had a great time playing on the bunkbeds.

I stayed here for a month and loved the brightness of the house, location and the wildlife overlooking the bridge. The house was newly painted and all new beautiful hardwood floors. This home is on the 18 fairway and you can walk to the beautiful clubhouse which by the way has delicious food. Would recommend this to all who want to play golf, go to the nearby beach, visit Charleston, and take the tourist boat rides and much more.

The house layout was perfect for 4 couples. Bathrooms need a little update. No real view of course from house. Location is excellent. Easy walk to Turtle Point Clubhouse! Walked to Tomasso's for dinner!
