Why Derek Schumann chose Upper Village
We purchased this TownHome because it is the closest Ski-In Ski-Out 4 bedroom accommodation of any kind we could find that offers easy access to both Whistler AND Blackcomb Gondolas and is large enough to comfortably accommodate upto 10 ppl. We also like our privacy and this place is as private as they come. No one above, no one below, no other condos in front, our unit faces trees and is beside a park with a picturesque covered bridge over a mountain creek. This town home borders Fitzsimmons Trail which directly connects Whistler Village and the Blackcomb Lift Base, DayLodge and Upper Village. We chose this amazing property instead of an upper slope-side property because we did not want to walk up and down a ski run or a long winding road every time we needed to get groceries or when walking home from apres ski festivities. We also wanted to be as close as possible to the high speed chairlifts lifts on both mountains, as well Kids Ski School and Bike Camps. For our family of 6 it is absolutely the Best Whistler Village Location!
What makes this Townhome unique
Location. Perched along a glacial fed creek and close to all amenities and shops while still considered a Ski In / Ski Out friendly location because it is a short 100 meter walk over to Blackcomb lift base from our front door. You do not need a car. Our home is “Closer to the Blackcomb Base Lift” than all 5 skiers day lot parking. It is the Best Whistler location. As one guest said, "You fall out the front door and your at the Lift". Also the 3 levels to this home offer large families and groups adequate space to chill. The 3rd level large loft style bedroom is ideal for the kids to hang out, watch TV in the lounge area, play games etc while the adults enjoy their own space on the main living level.
