House by the beach

The property was clean, well appointed, and spacious. It said short walk to beach and it is short. Tòok only a minute or so to be on beach. Wagon was there with everything you needed including chairs, umbrellas, cooler, and beach towels

All the comforts of home!

Awesome house! Very clean, plenty of soaps, shampoo, towels, the kitchen and the whole house was well prepared for guests, the heat/cooling worked great. We loved the location just a couple minutes walk to the beach which was not too crowded, I would say just right! The island has plenty of shops and restaurants, we can't wait to come back!

Busy little island with plenty of good places to eat. Walking distance to the beach. Short drive to the mainland. Golf cart rentals across the street makes it convenient for getting around on the island. Owner on call if anything is needed

Amazing vacation!

The house is exactly as described. It's such a close walk to the beach and to restaurants and ice cream and the free trolley stops! We loved feeling the breeze (all the windows have screens!). The beds were comfortable. The beach gear was plentiful. I did not want to leave and I hope we'll be back soon.

Mom moved from Manhattan Beach to Florida in 2004. She fell in love with this area back in the 90's (visiting two of four daughters at FSU). She'd rent a beach house in this area every spring. When she retired, she decided to make Homes Beach on Anna Maria Island her home. She loved the people, the weather, the cool sand, and the games that you can find all over on the island, like trivia, feather your nest and queen of hearts at the local bars. In 2019 Mom moved out, and the kids took over. Mom is near by in Bradenton and two daughters live close by as well. The five of us love the area and couldn't let the place go. We've decided it was time to let everyone else in on the best kept secret- Anna Marie Island (I still call it Mom's Island though!)

The location is great. The size is perfect and very accommodating. You don't need to cross the busy street to get to the beach. You are walking distance from anything you could possibly need.
