About the property

We built this home with one goal in mind: to be one of the very best vacation rental properties less than 5 miles to downtown Asheville. This 2,000 sq. ft., brand new home (construction completed in September 2016) is very private yet close to it all. 4.5 miles to downtown Asheville, 2.4 miles to the Biltmore Estate and Biltmore Village, shopping and multiple restaurants within 2 miles and less than 2 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway, I-240 and I-40, making everything near Asheville easily accessible.

We filled the home with super comfortable mattresses with soft cotton sheets, quality furniture and all of the accessories we thought you might need to make your vacation as comfortable as possible. We created a game room in the upper level (with 50" flat screen TV with free Netflix) to allow your kids their own space while the adults enjoy the comforts of the living room with gas fireplace and 40" TV. Or, if you prefer to spend time outside, we fenced in the back yard where we have a patio and a fire pit surrounded by boulders and landscaping. It's just one of those places that feels good both inside and out.

A year ago we set out to find the perfect lot on which to build a brand new vacation rental property. Being a general contractor allowed Dave to design a warm, cozy home and make it a reality. Construction took place through the Summer of 2016 and the finishing touches were done in September. We hope you love this home as much as we do!

Perfect Asheville Stay

We lived 23 years in Asheville and know it intimately, our finding perfection in this home is built on our expectations as ex-locals.

Expectations met and exceeded. The location can not be beat. You are in a quiet neighborhood of nice homes, but you have quick access to I-240, I-40 (26) and the BlueRidge Parkway. You are minutes from Biltmore Village and from downtown, yet if you stayed directly in those areas you’d be dealing with noise and traffic galore.

The house is new and perfectly designed. Modern yet flavored right for the mountains with beautiful art and decor that is never fussy. Well thought out to make guests at home. The kitchen is completely equipped. We hosted a large family party for several meals and we were never short of tableware or prep items. The dining table sits a banquet size group comfortably.

Yet, when it was was just two of us it felt comfortable and cozy as well.

We have stayed in dozens of vacation rentals over the years and this one is definitely in our top five!

Relaxing retreat

This house is lovely, exceeded our expectations. Lovely appliances, kitchen very well stocked. Spacious and comfortable. Great beds! David (owner) was very accommodating. Very quiet place, but very near the city.

Great house! Highly Recommend!

There were five of us in Asheville for a long weekend and this house was perfect. We had plenty of space and everything was really nice. There was a separate family room in the 2nd floor, which was terrific for those who wanted to stay up late. There was also a cute picnic bench and fire pit outside (and the backyard was very private). The location was super onvenient - just for a short drive to restaurants, hiking, etc.

Clean and brand new--great place to hang out in Asheville

We had a lovely time staying at the house. It was perfect for the eight of us enjoying a bachelorette weekend. We had smores on the campfire in the back, ubered to downtown Asheville easily, and really loved the open living space for hanging out while we were at home. I would definitely come here again with a group of this size.

Great place for a a gathering. Very convienient to downtown, Biltmore, RAD, and Fat Tire.

Had an awesome stay in this recently updated/remodeled home. Highly recommend. Can get 3-4 cars parked. Very private and situated very close to many attractions. Road in front of home is rough, heaving and sinking, city or county needs to repair. This property is well maintained.
