LAKE LURE WILL NOT BE OPEN FOR RECREATIONAL BOATING, FISHING, OR SWIMMING IN THE 2025 SEASON. Although the lake is closed and lowered while Hurricane Helene cleanup continues, there is much that our beautiful foothills area has to offer. LAKE ADGER, LAKE LANIER, SHUMONT LAKE, and MIRROR LAKE suffered no damage, so homes and those lakes are available. BALD MOUNTAIN LAKE in the resort is open and beautiful. We are welcoming guests in over 60 beautiful homes to use as a "home base" for visiting nearby towns, restaurants, shops, hiking areas, and seasonal special events in Lake Lure, Hendersonville, Asheville, Black Mountain, Saluda, and Tryon. Golf is open to the public at Rumbling Bald, and local area wineries, breweries, trails, and music are within an hour's drive. Many of the Chimney Rock shops are set up at the Tryon International Equestrian Center Pavilion. Chimney Rock Park is now open!

Log cabin offering three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms set within Rumbling Bald Resort, just 10 miles from Chimney Rock State Park. With two levels and 2,233 square feet (plus deck space), this cabin will sleep a total of eight guests and has parking for three vehicles.

Enjoy the rocking chair front porch, screened-in porch, and open grilling deck for a whole lot of nature watching.

Are you dreaming of cooking a proper country breakfast or the perfect family dinner? The kitchen is well-stocked, and there are numerous areas to gather. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, stovetop with oven, and cooking and eating utensils to stir up some delicious meals during your stay. The kitchen features abundant counter space!

Autumn Ridge's living room is the perfect place to kick back and relax. Gather around for a game of cards, watch a movie on the large flat screen, or cozy up next to the gas fireplace. We are sure you won't forget the good times and memories made here!

You will also find the first of three bedrooms on the main level. This master suite features a king-size bed, an electric fireplace, and a flat-screen TV.

Upstairs, you will find bedrooms two and three. One features a king-sized bed, an electric fireplace, and a flat-screen TV; the other has a queen bed and a daybed with a trundle in the corner. There is a lovely sun-soaked reading nook and a large full bathroom with a tub/shower combo between the two upstairs rooms.

Now that we've described the layout of this lovely log cabin, let's talk about the resort amenities! Rumbling Bald Resort offers excellent lake beach access, indoor pool, outdoor pools, restaurants, kayak, canoe, and boat rentals, chair/umbrella rentals, boat tours, Putt-Putt golf, tennis courts, basketball courts, exercise facility, pro shop, and two championship golf courses.
You will not even have to leave the resort! The Lake Lure/Chimney Rock area and surrounding communities offer additional activities if you do.
