Always a pleasure. Room for the dogs, very clean a little road noise but had worse at equivalent hotels. We enjoy the “out in the country feel” will return again.

Beautiful Property and Great Location

Very comfortable with thoughtful, helpful touches to make the stay wonderful! Great yard for dogs to run in. Easy check in and out. Easy access to Asheville or the mountains. Biltmore is an easy drive. Location is just right to get into the city quickly without being in the city all the time. Highly recommended!

Overall great

The whole place was clean and the yard was super well maintained. It was a very comfortable place to be and there were no issues while we were there. Lots of yard games and activities/games inside as well. The kitchen isn’t super well stocked as far as pots/pans so if planning to cook maybe consider bringing some of your own. Overall, it was great and we would happily go back!

Comfortable stay, close to attractions

We enjoyed our stay here, and the proximity of the house to everything Asheville has to offer. The big yard and porch were wonderful and great for families and folks traveling with pets. The house was cozy, clean, and well appointed. We were surprised to learn the property was on a major road that is busy and heavily trafficked at most times (this wasn’t clear in the listing) but there was minimal road noise when we were inside. If you want a more quiet, secluded outdoor setting, this isn’t the property for you. But if you’re looking for a comfortable stay close to Asheville attractions, I recommend this home!

Absolutely perfect. Very well stocked with kitchen supplies, linens, etc. The house had everything we needed for our 3 week stay. The mattress in one of the bedrooms, definitely needs to be replaced. Very lumpy. The master bedroom was fine. The house was centrally located, which made it so easy to get to different locations. We brought our 2 Basset Hounds, and they loved the BIG fenced in yard. We would sit in the yard at night and watch the deer, beavers and groundhogs roam through the woods that the house back up to. There was not any lighting in back., so we had to purchase flashlights. I would highly recommend this VRBO for a small family. We will be back!

Great House and Pet Friendly!

This was a great house! All of the amenities were accurate. It was the best house my wife and I stayed at! Pet friendly and couldn’t even tell other pets had lived there. The price was perfect. Clean, no bugs, smelled fresh and clean. Our dog loved it! Quick drive to the Biltmore and St. Lawrence Basilica! Safe neighborhood. Just as other reviews have stated, quiet, even though it is just off of a roadway. Didn’t even notice the sounds of cars passing by. Fully stocked with amenities. Mike and Marsha were very accommodating! They were proactive in providing us the necessary information, and answered all of our questions. You have to book this in advance, we will definitely be back in the future if it’s still available.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

This place is charming. If you're looking for a home away from home this is your place! It has everything you need to feel at home! It was so clean and comfortable. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard. They owners couldn't have been more accommodating. It's a short drive to the city of Asheville and the Biltmore! We will definitely rent this place again when we visit the Asheville area.

A Great Getaway

The house is very clean, well stocked, and has a open floor plan. The fenced yard is great for pets. The house is just outside the main city so there is plenty of room to stretch out with a yard, fire pit, etc. but then all of the sites are a quick and easy ride. The hosts were in communication from the start to the end of the process which I think is a great plus.

Great little retreat

This house was impeccably clean and had all the essentials. The fenced in yard was great for the dogs. We usually stay right in downtown, but since we brought the dogs this time we stayed here and it was a very easy drive into downtown and also to other places we went such as the Arboretum. We would definitely stay here again. Host was very proactive in reaching out before our stay. We didn't need anything during our stay, but if we had, I feel they would have been quick to respond. Great little spot for a quick get-away.

Great House, Great Location & Awesome Weekend

All the amenities of home away from home. Nice views of the mountains. Fire pit and corn hole boards for entertainment outside. Kitchen was well stocked with cookwear. Clean inside and out. We wanted to bring the dogs for hiking weekend and see the Biltmore for the Christmas trees. Owners were very informative in responding to questions and giving information about the area and all questions about the house. There is a dollar general, Ingles grocery and Walgreens right down the road. We will definitely stay here again!

Excellent Asheville Retreat

This property is an excellent house for a family or couple, especially if traveling with a dog. The fenced yard was great for our dog to run and the grass was cut low and in good repair. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to move in for a week long stay. The only negative is that the driveway is off a fairly busy road, NC route 63 and the speed limit is 55 MPH and you need to be careful pulling into the drive... However, this wound not stop us from renting this location again. The location is convenient to Asheville and the Blue ridge parkway. You won't be disappointment with the property.
