We loved our stay at Lucern Chalet. The property was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Hosts were responsive the two times we had questions. We did have trouble locating the property, but Ron soon set us straight. We loved the views and the peaceful surroundings.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lucerne Chalet! The property is beautifully private and feels a bit remote, yet it is still incredibly close to everything you need. It is a very relaxing and comfortable home, equipped with absolutely everything required for a perfect stay—from the comfortable furniture to a fully stocked kitchen that has everything you need for cooking. We especially enjoyed spending time on the expansive deck and taking in the stunning views. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great place! The proximity to downtown is hard to beat, and yet you still get a nature/forest feel while on the property. The home itself is a little tricky to find but otherwise we had an excellent experience. Clean and comfortable and would stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lucerne Chalet. The location was perfect - peaceful and quiet with a gorgeous view of the sunrise through the treetops, yet just a quick 5 min drive or 20 min walk into town. The house was fully furnished and very clean. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch. We brought our 13 yo lab, and it was great to be able to take him out for walks in the area. Darlene gave great check-in instructions and was easily accessible for occasional questions. We would stay again!

The location and the house were perfect. Beds are super comfortable and we appreciated the good dishes, pots & pans, and the supply of TP and paper towels to get us started. We look forward to booking here next year for our annual Asheville trip. Also, the advice of arriving in the daytime to navigate the long, narrow, winding driveway is not to be taken lightly! ;)
