The property was great for our family. We had my parents and two kids, plus a friend each. We all had comfortable rooms and bathrooms. The house has a fantastic view. Waynesville was great, and we enjoyed going to town each day. The road to the house is easy to navigate, and I loved the drive up to the house. We will stay again.

We were extremely disappointed in the "Luxe Lodge". What was advertised and what we experienced were very different.The grill shown online was a Weber, but the house had a cheap substitute with no igniter, forcing us to light it manually—dangerous and frustrating. The Master bed was rock hard, squeaky, and impossible to sleep on. For a house advertised to fit 14, basic comfort was missing.The kitchen was poorly equipped: a burnt-tasting coffee maker, scratched non-stick pans (some dirty on arrival), and not enough utensils for even 10 people. The spa, pictured as scenic, was actually tucked behind a garage on a mossy deck. Towels smelled of mildew, the water pressure couldn’t support multiple showers, and several lights were burnt out.Maintenance and safety were serious concerns. Carpet staples stuck up in the basement, the Master toilet leaked and made loud noises at night, and seating in the living room didn’t come close to fitting the group size advertised. Wi-Fi was slow and unreliable, and the Fire Stick remote was missing.There were a few positives: each bedroom had its own bathroom, the second fridge in the garage was helpful, and the view was nice. Unfortunately, these did not outweigh the many problems.This property feels neglected, misrepresented, and far below the standard its price suggests. What should have been a comfortable group stay turned into one frustration after another. I cannot recommend it.

Very nice house, well supplied. Had a few problems with hot tub and fireplace and the property manager tried to fix, was very apologetic, got a break on the rental fee.

Family Christmas Holiday

Our 3 generational family of 13 enjoyed a wonderful Christmas week. No snow, but otherwise everything was even better than expected. No problems with the hot tub, fireplace, or the grill. The kitchen was well appointed, and even had a bread making machine that we had fun with. Would definitely do again.

Girls weekend

This house was wonderful! Plenty of rooms, comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms (each bedroom had its own bathroom!) and the kitchen was stocked. This house is very high up a mountain, if you get car sick, be prepared! Once you get to the house it has a beautiful view. There were quite a few spider webs in the house but it was very clean otherwise.

Great Place for College Graduation Weekend

Stayed at the Eagle View Lodge with immediate and extended family members as we celebrated my daughter's graduation from college. The house was very comfortable and had everything you could ever need for visiting, relaxing, enjoying the indoors and the outdoors, and cooking in (except for a good pair of tongs). In addition to private bath's in every bedroom, the property has a fire pit, hot tub, and plenty of games (inside and out) to keep everyone entertained. The only drawback, really, was a lack of blinds/curtains in all rooms except the primary bedroom. While not needed for privacy, the lack of window coverings does make it a little harder to sleep in once the sun comes up. Other reviews have mentioned the drive up the mountainside to the house. The last few miles from the bottom of the mountain to the house are definitely steep with several switchbacks. That said, if you have any mountain driving experience at all, and a reliable vehicle, you will easily navigate the road. One work of caution if following Google Maps from the northwest. If your mapping app tries to route through Maggie Valley, DO NOT FOLLOW IT. The route suggested takes you to a gated, private development about 3.5 miles from your destination. However, because the gate will be closed and locked you cannot get through. Make sure your mapping app brings you to Waynesville, NC. We enjoyed staying at this property and would consider staying there again in the future.

Eagles Nest

This property is even better than the pictures. The house was absolutely perfect for our group of 7 adults and 4 kids. The views from the (multiple) decks, hot tub, and gorgeous open floor plan met our needs, and the location was sublime. Property owners took a long time to respond, but that's a minor complaint. I'd return here in a heartbeat!

Beautiful, relaxing home

Several of our church friends and family stayed with us at the cabin on our annual skiing trip to Maggie Valley. We had plenty of room and everyone raved about how well the beds slept, probably the best I've slept on a vacation. The home is about 3 miles up the mountain on a paved road and we parked 4 cars with no problem. The kitchen is well equipped with a slow cooker, griddle, coffee pot that grinds beans, and plenty of glasses and plates. The hot tub is nice, but very dark if you get in at night. The internet worked well and the kids had no problem getting on their devices. There is a beautiful small waterfall outside the master bedroom that is nice to drift off to sleep with. The fireplace in the home is wood burning, so you may want to bring your own firewood. The kids loved the ping pong table in the garage and pool table in the game room. The deck outside has a beautiful view of the mountains with a couple of swings to sit in and hammocks. We hope to be able to come again.

Comfortable House

Our family went to Waynesville to celebrate my 77th birthday . Had a wonderful time, house has beautiful views, was very clean and had all the kitchen items we needed, beds are very comfortable. The property manager (Vickie) was extremely helpful. We truly had a wonderful, relaxing 6 days family getaway.

Visit to Waynesville

Very nice facility. Great location. Lots of privacy. Nicely decorated. Everything was great. Only minor improvements would be fixing a couple of light bulbs that went out, and update the potato chips that were left as welcoming, as they were expired. Otherwise fantastic place. We had a great time.

Family reunion

We loved the house! My only complaints are there was someone's dirty clothes in one of the bathroom doors and also the bathroom doors don't lock. Otherwise it was very clean and big enough for our whole group. Also, if you come in from a certain direction, it brings you to a locked gate. Better directions/instructions would be helpful.

The stay was overall good. There was some cleanliness issues and the property manager didn’t sound overly concerned with our problems. They did not let us know there was an issue with the furnace prior to our arrival.

Mountain retreat

Great place to make home base for exploring surrounding areas. Vickie was easy to get in touch with band even brought a brand new grill within the hour when we discovered the main one was not working. She was very accommodating to any issue we had. Beautiful home and property.
