We enjoyed celebrating our 12th Anniversary. The inside felt like home. The view in the back was beautiful and peaceful. We will definitely go back.

This retreat was a treat, for sure. We didn't want for a thing. The view itself puts you in la la land in seconds. The house and decor was so comfortable. The kitchen is beyond well stocked.

Nice yard for quick and easy toilet breaks for my dogs. Screened in porch for relaxing and listening to the river flow over the rocks Well stocked kitchen and plenty of blankets for cozying up in the living room Appreciate all the extras including a cabinet of games & puzzles. We used Both a/c @ heat but sunny every day. Foggy most mornings and multiple deer.

This place was heaven on earth. We wanted to escape the noise and light pollution and this was the perfect place. The cleanliness was top notch and that says a lot coming from this ex OCD professional cleaner. The river and wildlife added to the relaxation. Bob was very quick and responsive from start to finish. Although there were plenty of restaurants, we didn't eat out a single time. We cooked all, meals at the house and enjoyed the chance to reset. The house was stocked with everything we needed. The deer and bird food was a great added extra. We will definitely be back. I cant say enough good things about this rental.

We had a ball tubing short distances in the day around 1pm to 3 pm at 5pm it starts to get deep and faster water flow we had a 6 year old with us. The beds were super comfortable and kitchen was well stoked. We loved loved the blackstone grill,bought one for ourselves upon returning home. :) sorry we forgot cooked food in the refrigerator. We were meaning to bring the cooked dog food and the hibachi veggies and meat home sorry you had to dispose of it. This home is amazing we didn't want to leave, my 6 year old granddaughter said I don't want to leave the other house, that speaks volumes. We will plan ahead to rent this home for future vacations!

Beautiful home right on the river. Host was very accommodating. Bob, the host, thought of everything. House was very clean, stocked with anything and everything you could possibly need. Very quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable beds. I highly recommend booking this home.

This home was absolutely amazing—peaceful, relaxing, and impeccably maintained. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and it's the little touches that truly make this place special. From providing birdseed and corn to attract the deer to having extra amenities available for guests traveling with their dogs, Bob and Ann have gone above and beyond to create a welcoming experience.The river was beautiful, and we even enjoyed a little fly fishing during our stay. Everything about this property made it the perfect getaway. Bob and Ann have created something truly special, and we are so grateful they shared their home with us. We can't wait to return!

Love this place!

This is one of our favorite places to stay when we vacation! The house & location are perfect. Close enough to shops, restaurants & things to do but secluded & quiet enough to get away from everything and unwind by the river. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to get back!

Always a Great Getaway

Our favorite place to stay when we visit Murphy, NC! Bob always takes excellent care of us, making sure the house is perfect! We were here over Christmas, and the house was beautifully decorated and added to our Christmas spirit!

Amazing back porch overlooking the river! Every detail of the home was well thought out. Lots of cozy blankets for sitting in front of the fire. Loved the “Let’s get toasted” basket. Great touch! And only needed to step out the front door for a beautiful walk in nature. A truly exceptional home.

Awesome stay on the river.

Second year in a row in this rental. Enjoyed our stay and just love sitting out next to the river and relaxing. Murphy N C is an awesome town with everything you may need.

Sooo great.

The place was absolutely great. The bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen made it super easy for all of us to hang out and prepare dinner. The patio was super relaxing and having the river right in the back yard was beautiful. We will definitely be coming back with friends, family, and just as a couple to enjoy this beautiful place.

Wonderful stay - beautiful scenery

We really had a wonderful visit - hated to leave. We appreciate the owners sharing their residence with us. Not one thing was overlooked. They had every possible item to make your visit a memorable one. So comfortable and relaxing. Hopefully we’ll get back! Wonderful vacation!
