This beautiful 2 bedroom turn-of-the-century house is located in downtown Colorado Springs with excellent access to I-25 and near abundant parks, shopping and dining establishments.

There is a fully fenced yard, hardwood floors, and ceramic tile. The fully equipped kitchen is stocked with coffee, tea, sugar, spices, and other food and cooking items. For your convenience, you will find in the bathroom toiletries including soap, shampoo, conditioner, q-tips, hair dryer, etc. There are also additional linens, towels, and blankets. The backyard has a new stainless steel gas grill and outdoor seating for barbecues.

The immediate neighborhood is friendly and consists of other homeowners. Shugga's, a Seattle-style coffee/wine bar one block east and then 1 1/2 blocks further are The Paradox Lounge, Southside Johnny's sports bar, McCabes Restaurant, The Coffee Exchange, SODO dance club, and The Convention and Visitors Bureau. The Warehouse Cafe, one of Colorado Springs most popular restaurants, is just three blocks north.

Why Lori chose South Central

I bought this property as my primary residence in 2004. Fairly new to Colorado Springs I wanted to be downtown close to all the amenities: shopping, restaurants, recreational activites and cultural events. I enjoyed living here so much that when relocated I thought it would make a great place for visitors to the Springs and put it on VRBO. I frequently get repeat guests and the house is ideal for couples or small families looking for a comfortable, affordable, and convenient place to enjoy their vacation and extended stays.

What makes this house unique

Centrally located only 3 blocks from the Interstate 25. Two blocks from Tejon Street- Colorado Springs main downtown street. Very close to Colorado College, Fine Arts Center, Convention and Visitors Bureau, shops, restaurants, night clubs.

Great location. Great house.

This house is the perfect size, fully equipped, pet friendly and a great price! It is walking distance to downtown (not Old Town) and just a few blocks from endless river trails (great for biking or running). We were four adults and a Scottie dog and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Lori. We will stay here again.

This place is a hidden gem! The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a fantastic stay. Lori has wonderful taste in home decor and even had bottled water in the fridge that we gulped down the moment we opened the refrigerator. Lori is also a great communicator and answers all text/emails quickly. I would strongly recommend anyone who is planning a visit to Colorado Springs to stay here!!

Great stay in C/S!

Very well kept, clean place to stay, owner was very responsive. Location was great for trips to Manitou, Pikes Peak, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and other activities in downtown Colorado Springs. We would definitely return if we find ourselves in the Springs again, thanks.

Great location, very clean

This house is located on the edge of the residential area of town, a very easy walk to restaurants and shops. Conveniently located to all that Colorado Springs has to offer. We drove out to Rocky Mt National Park for a day, Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods, The Cave of the Winds and USAFA. We found a lovely park, Bear Creek, within a 10 minute drive that had great hiking and biking trails.

The house itself is kept immaculately clean and has everything you need. Including plenty of clean towels and linens, Q-Tips, toilet paper (we've been to plenty where we arrived, not a square of TP was to be found!) and other bathroom products like shampoo and soap, kitchen supplies, spices and wi-fi.

We met the neighbors, they seemed friendly enough. Although the property is near an industrial area, we felt perfectly safe walking into town and around the area. We had no issues with homeless people around the house.

One of our favorite eating establishments was McCabe's, friendly service and excellent food and local beer is available. The Coffee Exchange was a favorite place for us to get coffee in the morning if we didn't feel like making it.

All in all we would definitely stay in the house again, and probably will in the next year!
