This beautiful 2 bedroom turn-of-the-century house is located in downtown Colorado Springs with excellent access to I-25 and near abundant parks, shopping and dining establishments. 4 Blocks from the US Olympic Museum site (opening in 2019) and within three blocks of a CS Bike Share station.

There is a fully fenced yard, hardwood floors, and ceramic tile. The fully equipped kitchen is stocked with coffee, tea, sugar, spices, and other food and cooking items. For your convenience, you will find in the bathroom toiletries including soap, shampoo, conditioner, q-tips, hair dryer, etc. There are also additional linens, towels, and blankets. The backyard has a stainless steel gas grill and outdoor seating for barbecues.

The immediate neighborhood is friendly and consists of other homeowners. Shugga's, a Seattle-style coffee/wine bar one block east and then 1 1/2 blocks further are McCabe's Restaurant, The Coffee Exchange and The Convention and Visitors Bureau. The Warehouse Cafe, one of Colorado Springs most popular restaurants, is just three blocks north.

Also nearby is the Pike Peak Center (7 blocks) Colorado College, Fine Arts Center, National Firefighters Memorial, and plenty of restaurants and breweries and retail shops.

We have two bikes at your disposal and the city has just improved bike lanes at the Cimarron exchange making it really easy access our miles and miles of bike lanes!

Just minutes away is the 5-star Broadmoor Resort, Garden of the Gods, Helen Hunt Falls, Air Force Academy, Olympic Training Center, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Old Colorado City, Manitou Springs, and the Colorado Springs Airport.

This updated remodeled Victorian house will give you the comfort of your own home with the convenience of being located in the center of EVERYTHING Colorado has to offer and the activities you are seeking to enjoy.

Why Lori chose Colorado Springs

I bought this property as my primary residence in 2004. Fairly new to Colorado Springs I wanted to be downtown close to all the amenities: shopping, restaurants, recreational activites and cultural events. I enjoyed living here so much that when relocated I thought it would make a great place for visitors to the Springs and put it on VRBO. I frequently get repeat guests and the house is ideal for couples or small families looking for a comfortable, affordable, and convenient place to enjoy their vacation and extended stays.

What makes this house unique

Centrally located only 3 blocks from the Interstate 25. Two blocks from Tejon Street- Colorado Springs main downtown street. Very close to Colorado College, Fine Arts Center, Convention and Visitors Bureau, shops, restaurants, night clubs.

Pleasant, Relaxing and Fun

My wife and I greatly enjoyed this cute original Victorian bungalow. Nice decorating, excellent TV, comfortable furnishings and a nice grill. Home was located on a quiet street with little or no traffic, close to 2 notable eateries and downtown was within walking distance. Just the right size and location for a Colorado Spring visit. Well-equipped and well-functioning, we couldn’t have asked for more. Lori was very responsive, helpful and a joy to communicate with.

Very comfortable and well appointed classic home

My wife and I stayed only a few days here while visiting family in Fountain. Lori's home is a classic older home, very well appointed with comfortable furnishings and well-equipped for all our needs for a much longer stay. We felt it unfortunate we were not staying longer! The home includes a well supplied kitchen, window AC in each area of the house, storage for unpacking clothing, a desk in the 2nd bedroom convenient for internet-based work (and very high speed internet), and even a couple mountain bikes. The master bedroom is nicely sized, especially for a classic, early 20th century home. The second bedroom includes two twin beds, so the home is perfect for a family of 4 or two couples.

The home is located within a few minutes walk of a very up & coming gaslight district off S. Tejon street, two blocks NE of the house, which features several great dining options (be sure to checkout the newly opened Streetcar 520, among the other choices within a few minutes walk). The neighborhood seems very safe and we had no qualms to walk the area at night, or to be concerned for security of our car or our own bicycles. The location is also convenient for access to downtown CO Springs and hiking/attractions along US 24 to Manitou Springs.

Lori was an exceptional host, always available with a quick text for anything we needed.

We would stay here again on future visits to CO Springs, and can recommend it highly to anyone.
