3 bedroom 1.5 bath Log Home, Peaceful close to our private Brenwood Lake
Wild Vines log cabin was built in 2006 with family & friendly getaways and gatherings in mind. We wanted a place where people could come as a peaceful retreat from there everyday lives and just enjoy nature. There is NO WIFI at the cabin and limited cell reception. You do have it, but depending on the provider some better than others. Granted you are only 5 miles from town and .06tenths of a mile off the main road with a graveled drive to get in to your comfy home... but you came to relax. There are all the comforts of home and more direct tv, all small appliances, hottub, to name a few. Plus charcoal grill for the out door guys and the fire pit for family campfires. You are just a short walk to the fishing pond shared by all guests... which also has covered pavilion with grill, children's play area, new gazebo & wedding venue coming soon.
Wild Vines has 3 bedrooms & 1.5 baths it's a two story log home with open layout where all the family can gather in either the kitchen or dining or living areas and remain part of the conversation. All bedrooms are upstairs. There is a bathroom on each floor with only the full bath located in upstairs bath adjacent to master suite to accommodate all guests.
When staying with Price Cabin Rentals, even though we are sure you will be cozy inside the cabin... we have accommodated your needs in almost any season or weather... you don't want to come to the mountains and not spend some time outdoors😊 There is a large covered front porch that reaches the entire front porch. To the left you will see a hammock and a little further out firepit for this cooler nights!
On the back of the cabin is where you will find another large deck spanning the entire home.... this is where the hottub is located! This porch is uncovered allowing you to enjoy the starlight sky from your hottub soak or falling snow. We have also installed a charcoal grill for you to use that even the bear haven't managed to carry away 💪🏻🐻
We hope that you will consider booking your stay with us and return for many years and adding your review with a photo for others to also appreciate the beauty of the mountains. 💜

My husband and I built Wild Vines in 2006 following in my parents footsteps. I grew up just a few miles from where the cabins are built and now my parents live on the same property. We enjoy letting other families share the same memories that we do with ours after staying here. You will want to come back.
Lisa purchased this Cabin in 2006
Why Lisa chose Luray
As a small child my grandparents owned all of the mountain now know as Shenandoah woods. We used to come here and have family cookouts when I was about 3 or 4 right where the covered Pavillion sits at Brenwood Lake. My father and I share a birthday so every year we usually come to the Pavillion and have ours together here. I hope this is a tradition that will stay in our family.
What makes this Cabin unique
Everything here is within walking distance to your property. Its private enough, off the main road and from town. However you can get to Luray in about 10 minutes if you choose to find a restaurant for dinner or 5 minutes if you want to go to the small diner close by. I have always rented through my own site so their aren't any reviews on here soon there will be a few added.

We had a wonderful time! The cabin was beautiful, my husband loved the hot tub.
Loved it! The mountains are beautiful! We are from Delaware, and everything is flat. We went to the caverns one day, and had breakfast at Hawksbill diner. What a wonderful place to eat... everyone was so friendly! We made smores by the firepit, and tried fishing but didn't catch anything. Would definitely recommend it!
Great Stay at Wild Vines!
Each year my son (13 years old) and I travel to the DC area to spend time with a friend of mine from high school and her three kids (13 year old twin boys, 15 year old daughter). This year we decided to do something different and spend two nights near Shenandoah NP. When the boys initially heard the cabin had no wifi they were besides themselves. But it ultimately was a real blessing - there was so much fun to be had outside! The kids loved the hammock, fire pit, hot tub, large front porch...and just generally hanging out in the beautiful woods surrounding the cabin. The cabin itself was very nice - open, airy, clean.
Thank you Lisa!
Note: I recommend checking with Lisa before you go as to whether dish soap, dishwasher pods, extra tp, etc. will be needed. But if you get there and find these items are low, there is a store about 15 minutes away where they can be purchased.
Great getaway, cute, cozy cabin. Great long weekend to celebrate moms birthday with the family.
Beautiful view of the mountains, but it was too cold the weekend we were there to enjoy the outside amenities at the cabin (firepit, hot tub, pond), so we will plan to return in warmer weather. Inside the cabin, the décor and household supplies were wonderful. Owners may want to consider a few updates/repairs (mattresses, clocks on range and microwave, tv remote), Overall, a great secluded mountain getaway, yet close to civilization.
This is was our first time that my husband and I rented a cabin in the mountains. We had a wonderful time. The only negative was that it was too short of a stay. All the comfort of home was provided minus the food. We did loose power on the last day that we were there but it was all over the town of Stanley. I didn't know how I would manage without WIFI but it was the thing we needed to disconnect from electronics for a few days. Would stay here again. Lisa as a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you!
Irma was not very kind to us as it kicked us out of our long anticipated trip to Hilton Head Island. As we feel so blessed to even have the opportunity to take a vacation our prayers were with those who were in the midst of such devastation. We were able to cancel our trip but spent many hours with short notice trying to find an alternative vacation get away. So....long story short...I stumbled upon the Blue Ridge Mountains area and decided this was the place for us. Quiet, peaceful, surrounded by God's glory and a beautiful log cabin set in the deep woods of the Shenandoah valley. Our stay was very relaxing as we enjoyed the nights in the hot tub with a glass of wine and reminiscing with friends of past time memories. I enjoyed the peaceful walks with my dog viewing the grounds of the owners estate and even had the opportunity to meet with him at his wedding venue (which I must add...was beautiful). Thank You Lisa for opening your cabin to us and were super excited that we found this place on such a very short notice.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm thankful that we could provide the getaway and peacefulness needed during such difficult times. You are welcome back to stay with us anytime.
