  I did a ton of research before booking a place for our family to stay in Myrtle Beach and finally selected this condo. Our drive up and down Ocean Blvd confirmed that we had made a good choice; many of the hotels on this strip look questionable. Of the three towers at the Caribbean, the Cayman seemed like the nicest. Our condo was pleasantly decorated with sea bright greens and blues, and had a fresh white kitchen with stainless steel appliances. It was very clean. The beds were comfortable, the water pressure good and the staff were hospitable. Our children enjoyed the waterslide, the warm lazy rivers, the outdoor salt water pool and the indoor splash pad very much. And the beach is fabulous. On the other hand, however, the walls were thin. Our master bedroom backed onto a neighbour whose newborn infant woke me at 1:30 am for his feeding. One morning I was surprised to hear what I thought were our kids up and running around earlier than usual; but, I soon realized it was the neighbour's children. The wireless internet is not dependable. We could rarely access it from our room. My husband found that he could log on more easily from the hallway than from our living room. We ran into a fellow on the fourth floor who said he was having problems too. Overall this is a good condo and the owners were professional and prompt.

  We LOVED this condo!! Everything was clean and just as described. Kitchen was very well stocked with anything you may need. The beach toys and chairs were a HUGE plus!!! Great location, and within a couple of minutes from the Convention Center (which is where we had to be most of the week). Great communication with the owners! We've already started trying to plan another vacation and we'll definitely stay here when we return! Very pleased with the entire stay... Thank you so much!!!

  We stayed in this condo in May 2011. It was a great size for our family. The bedrooms & bathrooms were spacious. Also, the owners had a tote of sand toys & boogie boards for the kids. It would have been nice to know ahead if time so we didn't gave to bring ours from home. In need of a few minor repairs, which we reported. This is no way affected our vacation! This condo is in a great location in Myrtle Beach! One major plus is the lifeguard chairs and umbrella! Five stars for that!! Overall, a nice condo! We would definitely rent again!

  We had a wonderful stay at this great resort! The condo was perfect, we couldn't have asked for anything more. We loved being able to have the umbrella and chairs every day (saves you $30 per day versus renting them), and were pleasantly surpised to find a "tub" of beach toys for the kids to use. Just as important as the room itself is the resort, and we can't say enough about The Caribbean. The pools, lobby and hallways were always clean. It really is a perfect resort for kids and families. And the staff were very friendly. We'll definitely be back!

  We were more than happy with our stay at Caribbean Resort. The condo was excellent....can't find anything negative to say about the condo and the resort. Hope to return again next year!!

  We spent the past week at this condo for my son's Spring break vacation. We've never been to Myrtle but heard it was relaxing. And of course, we wanted to visit the beach:) I can't say enough good things about this condo and resort. Not sure why the owner doesn't include a pic of the ocean view, but it is amazing. You are only a few stories up, high enough to not see the resort beneath you, but low enough that it all still seems close. Everyone enjoyed standing or sitting in the balcony, just looking and listening to the waves. The condo is well equipped for eating in. My mother cooked for us and she had no problems finding the right pots/pans for her recipes. In terms of dishware and cutlery, there is probably enough for 15-20 people which is at least twice what the condo will sleep. The resort is just as good. It has both indoor and outdoor pools. Since it was still a bit cool outside, my kids spent most of their time using the indoor pools. There's a lazy river, pool, kids' play area and whirlpool inside, with another pool and lazy river outside. There's also a pool with water slide outside but we didn't really look at it because it's off to the side of the resort while everything else is to the rear. Parking for the resort is directly across the street in an above-ground multi-level garage. No problems finding space, though the spaces are just a tad tight because of all the minivans, trucks and SUV's. And for those of you that require Internet access, the connectivity at this resort is pretty good. There were a lot of people there but it never got too slow and I'm a fairly heavy user. To summarize, I think the place is a great value. It's clean, spacious and well-kept. And it has the amenities you need if you wanted to stay on-site. But if you decided to go off-site, then the various attractions are only 5-10 min away not to mention an urgent care center. This last item came in very handy for us as a number came down with ear infections.

  Enjoyed our stay. The caribbean resort is a great place for all ages. Beach access was great and the beach chairs and umbrella provided by the owners was a great bonus. Elevators were amazingly quick and the wait time was very minimal. The room was very nice and spacious. The Sea Captain's House Restaurant located next to the resort had great food and provided a patio dining room to accomodate guest with swim suits. Finally, the owners were great to work with and communicated very well by phone and internet. Thank you Cathy and Vicki for a great vacation.

  Condominium and resort are very clean and well managed. Children ages 10 and 16 had a great time. It was in a nice location and the view was great. Renters must bring all supplies (toilet paper, garbage bags, dish soap, hand soap). The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, silverware and dishes. Although you may want to bring your own high-quality non stick pan for better cooking on glass top electric stove. There is a fairly large list of check out instuctions and no housekeeping when renting from an owner instead of the resort. These factors may weigh into your decision to rent from resort versus owners. We would recommend this property to a friend and we would stay again.

  "My wife and I rented this wonderful unit for the month of February and had a great time. The condo is extremely well equipped for long term accomodation with spacious living area. The listing photos were spot on. The view of the ocean from the large balcony was breathtaking and the amenities in both the condo and the resort were second to none. The location, being in the heart of Myrtle Beach, was perfect, being close to both great restaurants and shopping. We were just minutes from Broadway on the Beach. The staff at the resort was very helpful and the folks we met throughout our stay were very nice. Vicki and Cathy helped make our experience enjoyable and both my wife and I hope to make this annual event."
