Beautiful and spacious, this 4 bedroom/3 bath up lake view home is ideal for family vacations. The floor plan is perfect for families and features a large great room with vaulted ceilings separating the bedrooms, a gas fireplace in river rock stone, wet bar and LCD TV with home theater system, BluRay player and MP3 connection. A wall of windows provides a spectacular view up lake back dropped with the majestic mountains.
The kitchen and dining areas are great for entertaining. The kitchen is fully equipped for your cooking needs and features all new stainless steel appliances. Dishes and all the cooking implements you’d need are provided. The large dining table seats 8 and in addition, there are 3 barstools at the island counter. The huge Trex deck has a motorized retractable awning and is great for entertaining or relaxing and sunbathing. The patio table seats 6 and there is an assortment of chaise lounges and deck chairs as well as a complete wrap around bench on the deck. The deck has a gas BBQ and stereo speakers also add to your listening pleasure.
Each bedroom is roomy, well appointed and has ample storage area. The master bedroom has a large walk-in closet and the bath features two separate sink areas, shower and also a relaxing jetted soak tub. Ample bath towels, beach towels and linens are provided. Three of the bedrooms have TVs (2 have LCD TVs) and DVDs.
Air conditioning keeps you cool while it may be hot outside. High-speed wireless internet is available throughout the house. An additional refrigerator is located in the garage and there are 5 bicycles for your use. There is parking for 4 vehicles and boat trailer parking is available on site at the resort. Numerous boat docks provide space which is available at the resort on a first come basis.
The house is conveniently located in the private residential area of the Wapato Point Resort. In front of the house is a beautiful pool and large grassy playground. All the amenities of Wapato Point are nearby and available for your use. The 100 acres of the resort include beautiful groomed grounds, docks and beaches, lighted tennis courts, putt-putt golf course and walking trails. The beach kiosk rents paddle boats, kayaks, jet skis and other outdoor equipment. The clubhouse features an indoor pool and equipped workout room.
The Lake Chelan area is less than 4 hours from Seattle and offers year round activities. Besides all sorts of lake activities, there are over 15 local wineries, excellent restaurants, several challenging golf courses, fishing and Slidewaters water park, all very close by. The majestic lake is the third deepest in the United States and extends 55 miles up into the Cascade mountain range. The trip to the head of the lake, Stehekin, accessible only by boat or seaplane, is a must do event to see the majestic sites and nature.
