My husband and I, along with our 2 adult children really enjoyed this house. It has everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Dillsboro. The VRBO listing is accurate. The house was well equipped and very clean. We enjoyed eating at the Jarrett House (please try the Vinegar Pie...you won't regret it.), and the Well House. We also loved the pottery at the shop beside the Well House. Our son went on a guided float trip with Josh from Hookers fly shop in Sylva. Plus he fished nearby creeks non stop while we were there. There is plenty to do in the area, but we were there to do NOTHING....so that's mainly what we did. And we enjoyed it. The rocking chairs on the front porch aided us in our mission. We definitely will go back. Perfect house for 4 people.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: Hi, we are the Reeds, Sheldon & Mary Anne. We have a friendly golden retriever named Harley and three beautiful horses. Because our 4 acre Florida home is very private and tucked away in the woods...we wanted our mountain vacation house to be located in town. Dillsboro is the perfect location. Why the Owner Chose Dillsboro:
After taking a motorcycle trip with friends to the Smoky Mountains in the fall of 2006, we fell in love with the quaint little town of Dillsboro, NC. Returning three months later we saw a 'For Sale' sign on an adorable two story 100+ year old house. Close to a year was spent driving 1400 miles round trip to update & renovate our new purchase. It was worth every bead of sweat, every dollar spent, and every mile driven. We love our mountain house and its perfect in town location.
