We had a wonderful stay. Location was very convenient for our needs. Beds were comfy and the host was very kind. The price is high and we had to handle our own trash, but those were the only negatives.
The property is perfectly situated on the beautiful river. The house is well appointed and the beds are so comfortable. Becky was very responsive and we enjoyed our stay so much.

Thank you! Im so glad you had a nice vacation and got to spend time together by the River! :)
Such a beautiful and peaceful home on the river. Our family enjoyed a weekend stay while in the area for a performance at Bardo Arts Center. This comfortable home is close to town, yet secluded. Home is clean, beds are great and the kitchen is well equipped should you choose to eat in. The downtown area of Sylva is lovely, with several shops to explore and many restaurants to choose from. Our host Becky was very accommodating and responsive. All in all, an excellent stay. Thank you Becky!

Thank you Doreen. Im so glad you had a great stay and I hope you will come back again soon!
We had a blast. The house was exactly as advertised. Becky, our host, communicated fabulously. We picked this house because it was on the river. My kids love nature, fishing, swimming, etc. It was so peaceful at the property, yet we were within 10 minutes of anything and everything we could possibly need. My daughter was at a camp at WCU, so we were very close to her if she needed us. From the house, we also went to the Biltmore and Sliding Rock. They were both easily accessible for day trips. When at the house, we fished, floated the river, used the fire pit, played games, etc. We had a great week.
My husband is a maintenance engineer and he turned the heat down to like 66/67 and apparently they could control it with their phone and she turned it up to 74 at first and then back down to 71 and she was concerned that the air conditioner would freeze up, but my husband knew how to control it and he was turning it down and then he was gonna turn it back up, but we were not allowed. That’s really the only concern that I have other than that she was great. The place was great, but my husband and father was hot.

Hi Lisa, thanks for your feedback. We did have hot weather while you were there. The indoor temperature is kept at a default of 76 and guests are certainly welcome to adjust it. Upon arrival, someone in your party set the ac at 60 which will not cool to that temperature and can freeze the ac causing problems. The thermostat was set at 69 for the duration of your stay which was a good 15 to 20 degrees cooler than the high daytime temps. I’m sorry your family members were too warm. I truly strive to create a comfortable and welcoming experience for every one of my guests.
