This is a "Funky Beach Shack" themed upscale luxury home and it's just a short walk from the sugar white beaches and emerald waters of Destin, Florida. The Gulf comes to you in this home, with bright colors, local artwork, and funky fish galore.
We are located within the Emerald Shores subdivision, a family oriented tropical beach community of upscale homes, situated 100 yards from the Gulf of Mexico. You will enjoy the two large heated community pools, the close proximity to the beach, access to the beach pavilion, onsite tennis, and the security of gated entrances.
Soft sandy shores and beautiful emerald water are just steps away. The private beach access and pavilion (entry coded) is for owners and rental guests only, accommodated by private bathrooms (entry coded), outdoor showers, and beach service (chairs and umbrella).
We are close to restaurants, water sports, the Silver Sands Outlet Mall (largest in the south) and the newly opened Destin Commons. Destin Commons is a unique, open-air village, featuring upscale shopping, casual and fine dining, and a 14-screen, stadium-seating movie theater located 1.5 miles west. From Bimini Breeze, you can safely bike with the kids through the neighborhood and along the paved bike paths for awesome beach views. Our favorite activity. Ask about beach bike delivery and pick-up for Bimini Breeze!
From Bimini Breeze, you can walk to either Captain Dave's On The Gulf, Kenny D's Grill & Beach Bar, or Pompano Joe's Seafood and sample some of the local seafood flavors or just to relax and sip on a cold one.
"BIMINI BREEZE" [3 bedrooms + Bonus Room, 3 baths - Sleeps 14].
This recently remodeled Caribbean/Nautically-themed two-story vacation home is located about 125 yards from the beach (2 - 3 minute walk) and only one house away from the neighborhood pool. The home has a spacious 2300 square feet of living area, a large front yard, and a gourmet kitchen which includes granite counters, stone back splashes and stainless appliances.
The home boasts three King Master Bedrooms and has a Bonus Room upstairs. This is a great set-up for three families with the bonus room upstairs providing a separate TV/gaming room and sleeping area for up to 8 kids (set-up as a 4th bedroom). TV's are located in every room including a 26" LCD in the kitchen, a 42" LCD in the living room and a 37" LCD in the bonus room.
Total of 6 TV's (3 LCD flat screens) including surround sound in the living room downstairs, 4 DVD/MP3/CD, and 2 stereos/cd. Ceiling fans are located in every area (six total). We also have free high-speed internet connection including 802.11b & 802.11g wireless access. All of the amenities of being in your own home.
Balconies and porches are located off all bedrooms and open up to soak in all of our tropical Gulf breezes.

SECOND LEVEL [sleeps 12]:
• 2nd Master Bedroom, King bed, full bath, work desk, phone, 32"TV + Sony DVD, ceiling fan, door opens to private balcony.
• Bonus Room, 2 bunk beds(twins over fulls), 1 day bed + trundle, 37" 1080p LCD on wall, stereo with CD, ceiling fan and third full bath in hallway.
• 3rd Master Bedroom, King bed, 32" TV + Sony Dvd, ceiling fan, door opens to private balcony. Restroom with walk-in shower in hall.
• Laundry Room with full-size washer and dryer, two irons, ironing board, and dry rack.
Pool is a Frisbee toss away. Outdoor shower, gas grill, patio chairs and table. Driveway will accommodate three vehicles. NOTE: We do keep two plastic pull wagons at the home for your use when going to the beach or pool.

Hi Jay and Betty, We had a really great stay; perfect weather and beach. We even spotted a family of dolphin swimming by. The house and community were perfect and the pool very enjoyable. We had a group of 8 and utilized every TV in the house; most at the same time!! We cooked in the kitchen every morning, used the outdoor grill at night, and even made smoothies! We used the maps and menues you had collected, and the wagons and beach toys, too. It was truly a home away from home. Our grandson caught gecko's,and our granddaughters screamed! What a great time! Hope to stay with you again sometime!

We had a great vacation!! Could not have picked a better place to stay. We had three families in the house, and one babysitter. Each couple had a master bedroom! The kids had so much room to play and sleep in the upstairs area. They loved the bunk beds! Between the babysitter and six kids there was more than enough sleeping space in the center upstairs area. Great experience, lots of fun and great family/friend memories. Thank you again!!"

Bimini Breeze is a model for a vacation beach property. You would spend double the rental price to get a home on the beach, when this home, just a short walk to the beach, provides so much more. Clean, comfortable and complete. Everything you need for entertainment, beach priviliges, cooking and comfort are there, and everything works. The property is well taken care of, the beds are comfortable, and the pool/tennis courts provide important extras not found on beachfront property. I recommend this property.

Jay and Betty-- Thanks for another great week in Destin! Our families enjoy our trips to Destin and have found the perfect location in Emerald Shores. We have stayed in Emerald Shores 3 out of the 5 times and stayed in Jay and Betty’s houses the last two year. They have beautiful homes which are equipped with everything indoors and out. Our families stayed in South Sea last year but didn’t need that big of house this year so we stayed in Bimini Breeze. Bimini Breeze location is great for both the pool and beach. Hi Folks, we've spent the last two winters enjoying the great hospitality of Jay an Betty Copic, the wonderful owners and landlords of this Emerald Shores property. Great location, close to everything and a heated pool all winter long make for a great start. How about 2,000 square feet with three bedrooms and a loft including two king masters? We love the place and look forward to another great winter in Destin with Jay and Betty in 2010-11. I guarantee you that if you decide on Bimini Breeze you will not be disappointed. This was a much anticipated second visit to Destin and Bimini Breeze. The entire family had a great time - great beach, great pool, great house, great vacation destination. We are already talking about our next visit!! We tell all our friends what they missed by not going with us-- tell everyone they should go to Destin and Emerald Shores.

destin had the best surf and sand i've seen w/in the states. what a relaxing loation. house was nice and close to beach and pool. neighborhood had a great vibe and was extremely well kept. jay and betty were especially helpful from booking right through stay. thanx!
