Welcome to our oceanfront unit 709 in the Palmetto Tower at the Dunes Village Resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
This is a luxury 7th floor unit with a large extended balcony. This unit is a private oceanfront one-bedroom condo with two queen-size beds, a fully equipped open plan kitchen, a dining area, and a spacious bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub/shower. The living room has a full-size Murphy bed and a queen-size sleeper sofa. The unit also includes high-speed wired and wireless internet access, televisions in the living room and the bedroom, and a full size washer & dryer. The rental includes bed linens and towels.
The new Oceanfront Dunes Village Resort is located in the northern section of Myrtle Beach on the South Carolinian coast. The Dunes Village Resort consists of two buildings which, combined, include an impressive indoor water park complex. The water parks cover approximately 30,000 square feet of an array of water park attractions, including Myrtle Beach's first adult-sized indoor waterslides, kiddies wet deck and play pools offering a selection of games and slides, a 250 foot long lazy river ride, a massive swimming pool with water volleyball and basketball, and a variety of hot tubs.
Myrtle Beach is located on the Atlantic Coast in South Carolina. Myrtle Beach is among the nation's most popular vacation destination for families. It is well known for its entertainment, shopping, golf, and family attractions. With over 60 miles of wide, white sand beaches, known as The Grand Strand, it offers one of the longest continuous beachfronts along the Atlantic Ocean. Myrtle Beach offers vacationers a wide variety of year-round recreational activities.
The Grand Strand offers over 100 championship golf courses with various levels of difficulties to accommodate both the casual as well as the professional golfer. There are many shopping malls and outlets, including the renowned Barefoot Landing, Broadway At The Beach, and the Tanger Outlet malls. There is no shortage of restaurants for all appetites, with over 1,600 eateries serving a wide range of cuisines.
The Grand Strand also offers a variety of attractions. There is the famous Broadway at the Beach featuring Ripley's Aquarium, Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, Ripken Baseball Experience, and NASCAR Cafe. There are also a number of theaters, including the Alabama Theater, Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede, The Palace Theater, Legends in Concert, and the Carolina Opry.
The temperature ranges from an average high in January of mid to high 50s to an average high in July of high 80s to low 90s. The spring and fall, excellent seasons for golfing, have an average temperatures of mid 70s.

This is a great condo - very nice and comfortable! My family of 5 had plenty of room, and the balcony is great! The condo was well equipped with all that we needed to do a little cooking and eating in the room, but a special thanks to the owners for providing little things like dishwasher tablets and even a roll of paper towels. Not all condos pay that much attention to detail. Even though it was cold and rainy almost the whole time, we had plenty to do at the hotel - the waterpark is great for kids of all ages, and the hotel had some great activities for the kids as well. We will definitely stay here again!

We rented this unit the week before Christmas 2011. It was wonderful! The condo is just as described, if not better. Our sons live in Myrtle Beach and we wanted a place on the water to entertain our sons and families and have a Christmas gathering. It was the best choice. The children loved the waterpark and the planned children's activities in the water area and we loved listening to the ocean waves and watching the sunrise from the deck early in the morning. The unit is clean and well maintained. We plan on staying here again on our next visit to Myrtle Beach. A big thumbs up to Rudi and Nesia!!

We had a wonderful stay in this condo in Oct 2011! The description/photos of the accommodations accurately depicted the appearance and amenities. The extended balcony was great as it provided extra space and is a wonderful place to relax and listen to the waves. The whole process to rent from the owners was absolutely seamless. They were extremely responsive when emailed - even on weekends. The directions provided were A-1! We would not hesitate to rent from them again or recommend it to others!

We stayed in the condo in October and had a fantastic time. The condo was perfect for our family of 3. The beds were comfortable and the condo had everything to make our stay very pleasant. We really enjoyed the views from the balcony and our 6 year old could not get enought of the water park. The owners were great to deal with and the condo was very clean. We will definitely return to Myrtle Beach and try to stay in the same condo.

The unit is great, awesome large patio, the weather was fantastic, lots of great activities for the kids at the resort, and Rudi & Nesia provide terrific communication and support. This is a very nice and clean condo with large balcony. The listing was 100% accurate, pictures are also 100% accurate, and don't even show you the beautiful bathroom with jetted tub. That was a great surprise upon arrival! The owners have been more than helpful and provide incredibly prompt replies to questions. Upon arriving, I did have trouble with the door code, and called Marian as teh arrival instructions noted to do (This was late on a Sunday evening, and she was even more than happy to walk me through it) We had a wonderful time in Myrtle, although we had to leave early due to Hurricane Irene :( The hotel has sooo many ammenities, we didn't even get a chance to use them all in 4 days we were there. I can not wait to go back and I will definitely be using this condo every time. We fit 3 adults and 4 kids in this room (kids ranged from 2-14) and did not feel crowded at all. The kitchen had everything we needed, the washer/dryer and dishwasher were so convenient!

We rented this unit for a week in June of 2011 - the rental process itself was quick and easy. Loved the extended balcony and the ocean front view. The condo itself was very clean and well maintained. This was our first visit to Myrtle Beach. Dunes Village was a great resort and there was lots to do both on the property and nearby. Our 5-year old daughter loved the indoor water park and slides.

Rudi and Nesia did a wonderful job of providing what we needed for a very fun week long stay. The unit was very clean, safe/secure. The furnishings were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to cook and clean. The view was lovely, and the extended deck offered a place for us to play ladder ball. This was a good central location from which to visit Broadway at The Beach, mini-golf (we liked Hooks), and Barefoot Landing. Murrell's Inlet is a great place to visit for authentic sea food. On site, we really enjoyed the food, especially the She Crab Soup. The kids and we enjoyed the many pools on site, as well as spending many relaxing days at the beach. Thanks!
