Why the Owner Chose Lake Burton
After searching the area, we selected Lake Burton because it is by far the most beautiful lake in the S.E. with its mountain setting and pristine water.
It is close to many beautiful and historic sites and within 2 hr. driving distance to Atlanta.
We love all four seasons on the lake but the spectacular Fourth of July fireworks on the lake are not to be missed. Even on peak holiday weekends it is not overly crowded.
