The unobstructed views of Molokai, Lanai and the pacific from the wrap around lanai are truly spectacular. My family and I stayed in this gorgeous condo with the most amazing view ever. The condo was tastefully decorated, immaculate, and had everything we could possibly need for our vacation-- including beach chairs and umbrellas. The view from the 10th floor is mesmerizing, and we spent hours on the lounge chairs on the balcony just relaxing with a book, a cocktail, conversation. The location of the Whaler is convenient to nearby shops and restaurants. This owner was attentive to our needs, checked in with us before, during, and after our stay. The beach in front of the Whaler is very kid friendly, the nearby showers were very accessible and helped limit sand. Great vacation!!! I highly recommend.Owner response: Glad you had a great time. This unit was even better than I expected. The views are amazing from every room! Very comfortable sleeping and seating throughout the home, perfect for a family of four (two older teenagers.) Beach, pool, tennis, shopping, dining and rental activities right out the front door. The walk to Black Rock is closer than it looks...do it! Breakfast buffet at the Sheraton Black Rock is very good. If you need any OTC medicines, sun products or lotions go to Accents in the Westin Hotel, but go to ABC Store in Whalers Village for snacks, drinks and trinkets. Both stores are very close walking distance. Take the tote that hangs on the closet door with you as their bags do not have handles and you WILL buy more than you think! Clean, friendly property, well maintained. The owner was great to to business with...Thank You! I would highly recommend a stay here! This trip was to celebrate a "big" birthday for my sister and it was just the two of us. I have stayed in at least 10 units in the Whaler and this was the nicest. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated and very nice. The views are fantastic and the location provides a lot of privacy. I can't wait to go back.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

My husband and I rented this awesome 2 bd condo in Sept. of 2012 and the views and location were outstanding! This is one of the FEW corner units that is truly “ocean front”. Others in the same building call themselves “ocean front” units but are really 1,2, or 3 units back from the ocean of an “ocean front” building (hence the lower rental price). Can be confusing if you’ve not stayed there before. We thought the location was definitely worth the higher price. Our other favorite feature of this corner unit was the wrap around lanai where we sat and drank our coffee in our pj’s each morning and had breakfast and often times lunch, as we watched the paddle boarders and beach goers below. Other units have MUCH smaller lanais and since we love being outdoors, the lanai is where we spent much of our time. Great place to have a glass of wine and watch the beautiful Hawaiin sunsets too! The interior of the condo had been tastefully redecorated, very clean, nicely furnished, and had all the amenities we needed. The extra windows and sliding glass doors of a corner unit are also a nice plus as they really draw the beach/ocean into the unit, not to mention how nice and bright it makes the unit with all the natural lighting. The pictures on line really don’t do this unit justice. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends and family!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

We chose this to be our hideaway based on the beauty of Maui, the 'feel' of the community, the many things to see and do and the exceptionally great weather. 'Spectacular' understates the views from the unit. We found no better place in the entire world to enjoy breakfast with the morning paper (which is delivered to your door).
Whether we want to see big name performers or hear the Maui Symphony orchestra at the beautiful Maui Arts and Cultural Center; or we want to take in a live play, it's all here.
Sightseeing opportunities are too numerous to mention. Many of the Restaurants are world class.

The view, the view, the view!! There is also a several mile paved walkway along the ocean that goes right by the back door. World class snorkeling at Black Rock is a short walk up the beach.
