  This cabin is located about 1/2 mi from the entrance to Ober Gatlinburg..The road signs are alittle tricky so it's good to get there in the daylight, till you get the lay of the land. The photos are accurate & reflect the condition of the rental. The cabin was clean & hot tub was clean & delightful after each day & sometimes in mornings before heading out.Our power went out one night for two hours, but to our joy, during that time a momma bear with 3 cubs came to our door..It was awesome! They came back the day we left I guess to say goodbye! I would recommend this rental. The owners are great to work with. The only thing that is not mentioned is the fact there is a metal spiral staircase to go up & down frequently since bathrooms & bedrooms are downstairs. Remember to bring a starter log for the fireplace.....

  This house was very nice and clean with a great view over the Smokeys. The spiral staircase was a bit difficult to get luggage up and down, however we made it work. Please also note both bathrooms/bedrooms are on the first floor, so you have to use the spiral stairs frequently. The hot tub was very clean and well maintained. The cabin does overlook Ober Gatlinburg, so you can hear people experiencing the rides. The house is situated so you are not looking onto other cabins. Would stay again

  The cabin was lovely! We enjoyed the hot tub on the deck! The views were beautiful! We did see a bear one evening under rhe deck! The spiral staircase is a little tricky for us older folks! All in all it was a great time!

  Me, my husband and our 3 teenage daughters took a last minute, 3 day trip from July 2nd thru July 5th and was lucky enough to stay in this cabin. We were a little leary that our daughters would be bored being so far up the mountain, however it was completely the opposite. Our daughters loved it as much as we did. The cabin was decorated beautifully and was very clean. The views were magnificent! We were able to drive a little way down the mountain and watch the fireworks on the fourth. We went to one of the pools. We went to Ober Gatlinburg, since we could see it from the living room, we wanted to visit the park, it was not all it was cracked up to be. We got to know our way around the mountain and was able to see some of the other nice cabins up there. We were able to see a mama bear and her cubs from our balcony, we loved that. We want to thank Twin Cedar Cabins for the excellent vacation and their hospitality! We will definately be back!!!

  We had a wonderful time at tippy top,very well maintained and clean,the photos are recent and accurate. We actually were there from 12/24/10 to 1/01/11 and got over a foot of snow,it was great, I guess you could say we had a smoky mountain Christmas, the wood fireplace was great, and the owners were very nice to deal with. I couldn't think of a better place to be snowed in, I actually didn't leave the mountain for three days, they did maintain the roads very good, but I just enjoyed being there and watching the skiers out the livingroom window, the snowfall was beautiful, probably one of the best if not the best Christmas's i have had!!!!! LOOOOVED IT

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.
