117 Greens is a newly remodeled, two-bedroom, non-smoking, Greens Villa located in the Shipyard Plantation that comes with two bikes and a beach locker. The bathrooms and kitchen were recently remodeled with new cabinets and granite counters and the living room with new furniture. For 2011, the villa features all new carpet, trim woodwork and a new HVAC system.
The Greens is located across from the world famous Van de Meer Shipyard Tennis Center and the Crowne Plaza Hotel and is one of the closest to the beach, only a five-minute walk. The Greens is situated around beautiful fairways and manicured grounds.
This townhome community is also only a short walk to golf, tennis, and provides easy access to the many bike trails in Shipyard Plantation. Two bicycles are included for the guests use. There is also a private gated pool in the community for the exclusive enjoyment of the Greens' guests. In addition, the unit comes with the use of a beach locker at the Shipyard Beach Club. The locker is large enough to hold your beach chairs, boogie boards and sand toys.
The villa is one of the closest units within the Greens to the beach. The living room features all new carpet and furniture including a queen-size sleeper sofa and cable television with a CD/DVD Surround Sound stereo system. The living room sliding glass doors leads to a private deck with stunning view of the No. 6 Green of the Shipyard Galleon Golf Course.
Both bedrooms are on the second level, with the master bedroom having a view of the golf course. The master bedroom includes a king-size bed, walk-in closet, ceiling fan, television, and has its own private bath.
The second bedroom is furnished with two twin beds, a ceiling fan, and has access to the hall bath on this level. Both full bathrooms have a tub/shower combination and there is a half bath on the main level. A full-size washer and dryer are also conveniently located on the second floor.
The villa has keyless entry and is privately managed. As result, you do not have to wait in long lines to register and pick-up keys; you can begin your vacation immediately when you get on the island.

Why the Owner Chose The Greens
We chose the Greens in Shipyard Plantation because of its central location on the Island, best beach and 17 clay tennis courts across the street. The Shipyard beach club is just a five minute walk is adjacent to the Crowne Plaza with all of its great resort amenities.
We love to combine our kayaking trips with lunch at the Salty Dog Cafe. Dolphins usually congregate right at the entrance to Calibogue Sound
Every year we charter a boat and captain through Outside Hilton Head for Family Fun Day. Your captain/fun director takes you into the waters around Bull Island for a four hour trip of tubing, wakeboa
Coligny Plaza is just a ten minute bike ride to souvenier and surf shops. Beach Vollyball is played every weekend at the Tiki Bar
No trip is complete without breakfast at Harold's diner. It's a local dive with great food and a sarcastic staff.

My wife and I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, but have always loved the beach and have been active around the water through boating and swimming. We moved to North Carolina for a brief three years but have loved the Southeast ever since. Since we plan on retiring to the Southeast, we decided to purchase on HHI. Our second trip to The Shipyard was awesome! If you're like me, you like to stay in a place that's newly updated and spotlessly clean, yet charming. 117 The Greens fills the bill. We love the closeness of the beach, 2 minutes by bike (we take our own bikes), but there are 2 already there waiting for you if you can't bring your own. The bike paths are endless and so convenient and we loved riding on the beach too. We ate out most of the time, there are so may great restaurants to choose from. Used the grill and did shrimp on the barby one night, yummy! The condo is fully furnished, the beds restful, love the convenience of the full size laundry. Went kayaking this trip and understand they are building a zip-line on the island--maybe next time! I'm sure we'll be back, thanks Alex and Judi for your hospitality.

My husband and I just returned from a lovely 10 day stay. We booked this vacation almost a year ago and looked forward to it for the longest time. I'm glad to report that the condo did not disappoint! The owners of the condo were a dream to deal with! They answered any and all questions that we had in a timely fashion. They even called the day of our arrival to make sure all was well. The condo itself is wonderful and in a great location. The kitchen is perfectly appointed, the propane Webber grill was a great asset and the condo was spotless. The king bed in the master bedroom was super comfortable and the adjoining master bath was a great bonus. We didn't have a need for the second bedroom, but it was beautifully decorated with two twin beds and a large closet. The wifi connection was stable and fast. We took full advantage of the two bicycles included with the unit and road countless miles throughout the plantation and surrounding area. The Greens pool was nice and quiet - a great place to unwind with a book. We also appreciated the ease of the beach locker which happened to have two beach chairs inside. The full sized washer and dryer in the condo were fantastic to have, especially since we are carry-on luggage travellers that pack very light. The booklet put together by the owners was very informative. The restaurant suggestions were spot on! We enjoyed meals at the Salty Dog, Wild Wing and the Mellow Mushroom. The condo was also a great place to make and enjoy delicious meals. Grilling on the BBQ overlooking the greens was a delight. Would I recommend this condo to others? Absolutely! Will we be back? Definitely! Do I think you should rent it? Yes! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My family and I greatly enjoyed this townhouse. It was tastefully decorated, comfortable and convenient. The kitchen was well appointed with all of the appliances and dishes that we needed. The couches and beds were very restful. We enjoyed the two bikes and rented a third for bike trail exploration. It was very nice having a beach locker so that we didn't have to lug chairs, umbrellas and neat sheets back and forth. It was nice to have a hose in front of the unit to remove the sand from shoes and skin before entering the townhouse. It was also very convenient to have a washer and dryer in the unit so that we could do laundry while reading or sleeping. We were able to relax and have nice family time together while enjoying the beach, the bay and the island.

I would recommend this townhome to everyone. The place was immaculate. I am talking white sock clean. The beds were comfortable, the decor was great. I loved having the bikes at my leisure to get around. The beach locker was great to store your beach items in. I can't wait to return!

What a beautiful place. We've been staying in Shipyards for over 10 years and your place was one of the best kept. The updated kitchen and brand new carpet were awesome. The owners were so helpful and having keyless entry worked great for a late arrival with young children. We had a great time! Great location and a great space.

Our stay at the 117 greens was a very enjoyable one. The villa is located close to the beach and the pool. The villa is very well furnished and comfortable, our family has been vacationing on HHI for the past 23 years and the 117 Greens is as nice as you could want for a fun and comfortable vacation for the entire family or a well deserved getaway for mom and dad.

My husband, daughter, and I stayed here in August 2010 for a week. It exceeded our expectations. The condo itself was modern, clean, and comfortable. It truly felt like home. And, you couldn't beat the location and access to a beach locker. We stored all of our beach stuff in there, so we didn't have to lug it back and forth every day. We did go to the pool a couple times, too, and it was only a couple minutes from the condo. I appreciated that the owners took the time to recommend restaurants, both in their e-mails to me, and in the guest book. They didn't steer us wrong! I will definitely stay here next time I'm in Hilton Head.

117 The Greens is a great villa that is very well maintained and appears to be recently remodeled -- new doors, new kitchen cabinets and countertops. It is located at the front of The Greens complex and is a very short walk or bike ride to the beach. Shipyard Plantation is also very conveniently located near a lot of great restaurants and shopping. We have stayed at several different villas over the years at HHI and I would rate this villa as the best we've stayed in. We will definitely rent this villa again for future visits.
