We've recently come home from a lovely trip to La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. We'd stayed in town before but wanted a change of scenery and this property delivered!! We awoke every morning to beautiful sunrises and happened to be there during a full moon, so were also treated to "moonrises" as well! The condo was modern, clean, and we found the security folks to be very helpful in helping us get taxi service to get us to and from town. The pool was well maintained and refreshing - very close to the condo. The restaurant and beach were a bit further away than we expected, just a very short taxi ride away. We wouldn't exactly call it "walking distance" unless you're in very good physical condition and don't mind a strenuous hike back up the hill when you're done!! All of our interactions with the owners were via email, and answered promptly. Susan was very helpful in making sure that we'd have all that we needed when staying in their lovely home!! We've always enjoyed stopping in at Philo's Bar & Restaurant for the live music & ribs!! We discovered Frascati's during this visit and came back 2 more times before we had to go back home to the States!! Thanks again, Susan, for making our stay special! Jorge, the property manager, was particularly helpful as well!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

This condo is a very nice vacation rental. John and Su have done a fantastic job decorating this beautiful 2 bedroom condo. View over looking bay from balcony and master bedroom is FANTASTIC. Condo and adjacent beach club were very relaxing. Town of La Cruz offers many fine resturants and fun bars. Thanks John and Su for a great vacation.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

What an amazing sunrise from this location! We really enjoyed staying here on our vacation. Clean and new it was a great location to go north up the coast as well as to drop into the city from. The owners were great to work with and took care of our every question. We look forward to our next chance!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My wife and I were looking to get out of our Canadian winter for a week and were fortunate to find this gem. We looked at a number of places, but this one caught our eye because of the location and view! The complex consists of two 10 story buildings and built on a hill side. The view over Banaras Bay and the new marina is just awesome. There is always activity in the bay, and is better than watching TV. The condo unit is new, everything spotless and no bugs!!! There is lots of room for a family of 4 or more as there are two big bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The water supply is filtered at the kitchen tap and in the refrigerator, so nothing to worry about in the unit. We would lay on the bed before going to sleep and look out the big windows out at the lights in the bay and surrounding area. Beautiful!! The complex has a great infinity pool area and also a private beach area which the condo shuttle will take you and pick you up. They are building a restaurant there and the bar is already done, although not running as of this review. The owners are absolutely the best people to deal with. They accommodated our every need and responded promptly to all e-mails and telephone calls. With respect to the owners, we treated this unit as if we owned it ourselves. If you, your friends, family are looking for a great place to vacation, this is it. The food and peoples of the village of La Cruz, one kilometer from the units, and with-in easy walking range, is really worth going. Go to Philo's for the best ribs and chicken ever, and on the week ends, live music by the owner and his 8 piece group. Great dancing, reasonable prices and great food, and your 5 minutes from your condo by shuttle or cab. This place was fantastic! The view of Banderas Bay and the boats coming and going from the Marina Riviera Nayarit was outrageous. Very nice furnishings, decor, everything. We'd love to come again. Pool area and bech club were likewise superb.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

John & Sue, We had a wonderful stay in your beautiful condo. It is a comfortable property with everything we needed. We have traveled to the area for several years and it is a great location for accessing the buses. We enjoyed going to the Fish Market in La Cruz and cooking in the Condo and loved the beach club but would end up walking down the beach to the local beach bars. There were not many tourists around and felt we had are own private vacation. Last but not least THE VIEW!! The view from your condo is truely breathtaking!! We would wake up early just to see the Sunrises.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
