Nestled adjacent to the Deschutes National Forest on 40 acres, Pine Ridge Ranch is our own private park. The property is entirely fenced and has a view of the North Sisters Mountain. The ranch house, furnished in comfortable mountain style, has 3 levels and 3500 square feet of space. The main floor has two bedrooms, a full bath, and an expansive chef's kitchen with Viking range, Dacor oven and Subzero refrigerator. The great room, with vaulted ceilings and river rock fireplace, is a great spot for curling up with a good book. Gather around the mango wood plank table for family meals, or spread out on the back deck for a barbeque. The master bedroom has a river rock fireplace, a private deck and master bath. Also upstairs is a large bedroom/sitting with two queen beds and a great mountain view. The downstairs features an entertainment room with big screen television, wood-burning stove and lots of comfortable seating, as well as a laundry and half-bath. Walk through saloon doors to the game room, where you can play pool or darts, or board games.
The property itself is wonderfully secluded in a Ponderosa pine forest. Wander through the meadows, relax in the swing by the pond, or roast marshmallows around the fire pit. Take a nap in the hammock overlooking the outdoor arena. Walk out the back gate to the attached Deschutes National forest and take a short walk to Polk Creek. Ride horses or bikes, snowshoe, or cross-country ski along the miles of the Sisters Trails.
The property is also an ideal facility if you want to haul in horses, complete with fenced pastures, an outdoor arena, feed barns, and heated watering troughs.
It's hard to believe that a place so quiet and peaceful could only be three miles away from the town of Sisters, 8 miles from Black Butte Ranch, and 20 miles from Bend.
