This fully furnished, non-smoking, split level cabin is on a quiet street with a pond just a few steps away! The driveway is a bit steep but allows for the house to be perched among the trees providing a tranquil and stress free enviroment.
The climb up the new steps takes you to the main floor where the living room, dining room and kitchen occupy one large area that is open to windows and two sliding glass doors that walk out to a huge new deck. Located in the livingroom is a wood burning stove, TV, DVD player, phone, Stereo and is WIFI enabled. The dining room has a table that seats eight and a bar that can seat four. Both have wood floors with area rugs and are tastefully decorated. The fully equipped kitchen has a Jenn-air electric stove, microwave, pots & pans, dishes, coffee maker, toaster and eating and cooking utensils. 2 bedrooms with queen sized beds and 1 bathroom with shower/tub combo also occupy the main floor. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans and the master bedroom has a small flat panel cable enabled TV along with a DVD player.
Downstairs is a den with a full size futon, wet bar, CD player, DVD player, small flat panel TV(no cable), books and a small refrigerator. The room gets plenty of light from the sliding glass doors that open up to the side yard allowing for a pet to explore. A 7 ft pool table with a cable enabled flat screen TV on the wall provide sports and entertainment plus a bunk room with twinbunks and a twin/futon bunk plus a foosball table keep the kids busy. A laundry closet and the second bathroom, shower only, completes the downstairs.
Winter activities include skiing/snowboarding at Dodge Ridge Ski Resort. Ice Skating Rink is located in Long Barn. Leland High Sierra Snow Play Park offer tubing and sledding.
Black Oak Casino offers gaming,bowling, live entertainment, dancing and fine dining at Seven Sisters.
Summer activities include boating, swimming and fishing at Pinecrest Lake , Lake Don Pedro and various lakes in the area. Sorry, no Lake Twain Membership.
Twain Harte has Concert and Movies in the Pines every Friday and Saturday evenings at Eproson Park, 18 hole miniature golf, skate park, public swimming pool, play areas, 9 hole golf course, resturants and shopping.
River Rafting down the Tuoluomne River is close by.
New!!! Zip lines at Moaning Caverns.
Spring and Fall seasons are beautiful and quiet but with plenty to do and very affordable.
Sonora is 15 miles down the road with cinemas, resturants and additional shopping areas including antique shops.
Yosemite National Park is 70 miles away.

It was the first time I chose to vacation in the mountains. Usually I go to the shore. Was very pleased with my choice! A true mountain retreat! Clean, roomy, with lots to do both inside and out. Relaxing when I wanted to. My accommodations were great. And I loved taking walks in the area. My questions were timely answered by the owner. (She was great at giving me restaurant suggestions!). I would definitely recommend this home to other renters. I will go back there in the future!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My family and I just returned from a great stay at your rental property. We've rented vacation homes in this area for years and your house is one of the nicest. The furnishings are comfortable and we loved your game room. Our kids loved playing in the snow and had a day of fun at Dodge Ridge and Pinecrest. I went with a girlfriend just for a girls getaway. We had a great time and didn't want to leave the house. The house was very clean and the rooms were all really nice. The kitchen was equipped with everything you would ever need. We just read and listened to music. I brought my beagle and he loved it. The balcony was great because he could sit out there with us and it was safe. He was not used to stairs but he learned how to go up and down pretty quick. It was nice seeing the chickens and ducks walking around. The weather was fantastic. The store was really close. We has all these plans, but once we got to the house, we just wanted to stay there and enjoy it. I highly recommend this rental. You can't go wrong. I plan on definitely going again.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We wanted to get away I couldn't think of a better place to go to . Outstanding accommodations, wonderful views from the house. The owners were wonderful to work with, very accommodating to our needs. Would definitely go back! This was a trip that my husband and I will remember for a very long time, in no small part because of the amazing setting of the house we rented in the Sierras. The property was listed as a charming cabin in the woods, but it turned out to be much more. All the creature comforts that are described in the add are as advertised, but we were unprepared for how beautifully situated the cabin is. The cabin was clean and all appliances worked well. Because of the majestic views, we stopped at the local grocery store and ate most of our meals at the cabin. Cooking in the cabin was a pleasure because the kitchen lacked for nothing. The owner answered all my questions in a prompt and timely manner. From the cabin, we were able to take day trips to Yosemite, the lovely town of Sonora, Jamestown and Pinecrest lake, confirming the ideal location of the cabin. We will be returning to the cabin in years to come and I whole-heartedly recommend this property as a great vacation get away.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
