  What a glorious week at 807 Somerset! The description of the property is spot-on, but to experience it first hand was even better! We felt like honored guests, not 'just' renters. The unit is spotless, the view extra-ordinary, and every need/want has been considered. 'Little' things, like night lights, limitless silverware, a stapler, power-strips in several locations so there was no problem staying plugged, charged, and connected...you name it, the owners have thought of it and supplied it (we used the supplied binoculars on a wonderful day excursion to the everglades). The clocks in the unit were even set ahead on time-change weekend for us! We thoroughly enjoyed the amenities at Somerset as well. The beach is beautiful and the shelling tremendous. The tennis courts were ideal and we had no trouble getting a couple of hours in each day - which was a good thing considering the bountiful, delicious restaurants we found ourselves at each evening! My only hesitancy in giving such a high recommendation is that others will discover this gem and we'll have more trouble securing an annual week! Many thanks to the owners for their thoughtful and generous sharing!

  What a truly amazing vacation. The condo was clean, comfortable and the most well stocked of any condo we have ever visited. The view from the front balcony was amazing - the beautiful sunsets were truly magnificent. You can walk to many restaurants and shops. If you are interested in water sports, there are waverunners, kayaks, parasailing and boat tours right on the beach close to the condo. If you prefer "pooling" it, there is a heated pool for you to enjoy. The owners also provide golf clubs, tennis rackets, beach chairs and toys and bicycles. Marco Island is very clean, well manicured and quiet. We hope to visit again soon.

  This was our first time renting a condo on Marco Island & it was a terrific experience. We have been coming to Marco Island for the last 20 years; always staying at the Marriott Hotel, and this condo surpassed the Marriott accommodations easily!. The condo was superbly appointed, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. We felt like valued guests in someone's home rather than 'renters'. The condo is exactly as other reviewers have described it and even better than the photos. It's obvious that Cindy and Gene really love the condo and want you to love it too! We really enjoyed being up on the 8th floor in the center of the building; superb views and really quiet. Having a balcony front and rear was an added bonus. It was so comfortable and relaxing; with everything you need right there for you. The owners were very responsive & genuinely helpful; they really wanted us to enjoy the condo. We would definitely recommend this condo and will definitely be back! Thanks for a wonderful vacation :)

  This was our first vacation in Marco Island and we loved the calm atmosphere,we never heard a single neighbor, the condo has a nice balcony witch offers a terrific view & it’s well located in the complex. The description and pictures are accurate. It was clean and well maintained, the owner was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommended.

  We spent an amazing vacation week at the Somerset #807. This unit is on the top floor in the center of the complex which gives you a wonderful view of the entire Marco Island Crescent Beach. The entire Somerset property is very clean, secure, well maintained and close to everything. It has two Saline Pools, two Tennis Courts, Barbeque Grills and is exceptionally well landscaped. The location is fabulous and the #807 is better than advertised; updated, extremely clean, well decorated, and super comfortable. The unit has two Full Bedrooms with separate Baths and also a separate Den Area. The Den was a bonus as other units I've stayed in didn't have this space. There is both a Beachfront Balcony and a Front Balcony. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The Owner’s, Cindy and Gene were extremely helpful and quick to respond in answering every question that I had regarding the Somerset and Marco Island. I was very surprised how they have everything there that we needed and more. They have three great Bicycles for your use along with Golf Clubs, Tennis Racquets, Beach Chairs, Umbrellas, etc. I was amazed at how well stocked that the unit is including all of the cooking supplies, DVD’s, CD’s, Board games, and great Flat Screen TV’s. The high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the unit is a real plus (I no longer had to go to the library!) and all of the appliances including the brand new full-size Washer and Dryer are great. The Rental process, check-in, and check-out were all easy and very smooth. We just stepped into the Somerset #807, enjoyed it for a week and left very well relaxed. I really enjoyed biking, jogging, fishing, golfing, and relaxing on the beach. I will surely recommend this unit to my family and friends. We certainly will be back and will definitely get this unit again!

  We have rented in this building before, but this unit is probably the most completely equipped condo we have rented anywhere. Everything you need to enjoy your time on Marco. Great view of the gulf from the balcony and a nice view of the island from the balcony off of both the second bedroom and den. Four nice televisions, dvd players, sound system complete with CDs. The building is very upscale with two pools and two beach access points. When the beach was "crowded" there was a couple about 25 yards up the beach on one side and a family about 40 yards down the beach on the other side. The owner provides beach chairs, beach umbrellas, water toys, 2 adult and one kid's bicycles, 2 sets of golf clubs and tennis equipment for your free use. Rental process was easy and quick. If anyone has never been to Marco, the island has one of the nicest beaches you will find anywhere in the states. Restaurants are plentiful and good. We would highly recommend this unit. The owner was truly interested in making sure that we had a great vacation.
