They say all you need for a Vineyard rental is a grill, a blender and a deck to enjoy them on.
While that may be true for some visitors, we provide ours with total privacy in a great location with all the amenities and comforts including the grill, blender and deck. We built it for our family to share and enjoy so it had to be perfect.
This beautiful, no smoking, no pets, two bedroom year-round Cottage is located in the Quansoo area of the lovely up-island town of Chilmark. The house sits on a very private, 3.5 acre wooded lot and has a deck with access from the living room and the master bedroom. There is a delightfully private enclosed outdoor shower just off the deck behind the house. Vaulted ceilings in the living area and two large easy open sky lights along with ceiling fans in every room provide ample light and fresh air.
The cottage is beautifully furnished and includes one queen-size (Master bedroom)and two twin beds (second bedroom) along with very comfortable futon couches in the living area for your afternoon siestas. Flat screen HD TV of couarse.
Passes to Lucy Vincent and Squibnocket beaches (both private) are available from the town with your lease, and of course you are only minutes away from Menemsha's family beach that is open to all.
We are perfectly located on the Island, just eight miles from the Vineyard Haven Ferry Terminal and just up the road from the famous Alley's General Store.
