  • Caribbean paradise

"It's been a few weeks since we left Cayman Brac, I find I struggle to find words to do justice to the charm, beauty and warmth of this Caribbean paradise. We spent 2 weeks in your beautiful home, it truly felt more like a lifestyle than a vacation, you really make Tropical Run-A-Way feel like being home than a vacation rental. Photos can't do justice to the property, its really something you have to experience and it is in our opinion the best location and property on the Island. Everything we needed was there, you really have thought of everything, even a supply of books to exchange when I ran out. The wrap around veranda always gives you choice of sun or shade, the pool shades came in handy during the hot afternoon. We wanted a relaxation vacation and your property was the perfect place for that, the biggest decision of the day was which spot to lounge, the cabana, the hammock, the veranda or the pool. I wondered if being close to the airport was going to be a problem, it was definitely not intrusive at all, you hardly even notice it. The property has good separation from the house and the cottage so even when sharing the property there is lots of privacy. Thanks for the tip on renting the car, it helps to get out and about and see all the island. The island itself may not have the shear beauty of Turks white sand beaches and turquoise water, but Brac has a natural beauty of its own and the people who live there are what really sets this island apart. Every time we walked or drove down the road, people would wave as we passed, everyone was friendly, so interesting to talk to, they really make you feel welcome. It was a nice change, no crowds, no vendors pushing Time share brochures in your face or on the noisy beach vendors selling wares, just us and the hermit crabs. The island has very good drinking water and everywhere we ate we had great food. Shout out to Cesar and crew at Captains Table, we had the best lobster dinner we've ever had and the Super Bowl party was so much fun. The island is very safe, clean, and you just can't beat the weather. We don't dive, but met lots of people who dive, so I think we'll put that on the bucket list. We were looking for a place to have a family vacation so we'll be coming back next year with the kids and grandkids, we can't wait to return. We haven't stopped talking about what a great vacation we had and how much we loved our time there."

  • Comfortable Home, Great Location, Quiet Island

""Happy Hours" rental is very comfortable. The home is just as described, only better. The waves lapping right outside the sunroom door is relaxing. The pool is large and goes to a depth of 6 feet, very usable. The living room, kitchen, and breakfast area are open and airy making the space feel very large. The two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the home giving privacy to the occupants. The half bath is a welcomed bonus! The home is located about one third of the way east towards the bluff from the airport. Perfect location; a little bit away from the airport, but not too far away from the restaurants. The Property Manager, Van, was very helpful our first night by helping us grab some groceries and showing us a restaurant and the dive gear rental shop. A great place to call home while exploring the island and all it has to offer."

  • Awesome Ocean Front Condo w/ Great Views

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at this unit in Grand Cayman. I, along with my co-pilot, flew a group of individuals to the island for four days of relaxation. Everything, I must say, was outstanding. Ollie Ebanks was very accommodating. She had no problem with our late arrival and was extremely helpful when I needed to make a call back to the U.S. to coordinate our customs arrival. The unit is very clean, equipped with everything I could ask for, and quiet. I appreciate the quiet, along with my sleep, more and more the older I get! My youngest child, age fifteen, says that I wake-up from the slightest of noises and I had no such interruptions while staying at your place. Again, thank you for allowing us to stay at your place! It was wonderful! I’d like to get my wife to Grand Cayman in the future and when I do I’ll certainly try and stay at this condo."

  • Words fail me

"Stayed here for 5 weeks January-February 2015. Before going home I booked it for ten weeks Jan-Mar 2016, so yes, I had a great time. Wonderful house, beautiful beautiful Island. If you want "civillization", gourmet food. entertainment, try Grand Cayman. Brac is small, quiet and happy. By that I mean people there are extremely friendly, seemingly unaware of "race" and there is no poverty. The house has all the basic comforts. lots of windows, fully screened, so open them up and let the outside in. Good kitchen and bathroom, soaring cathedral ceiling. HDTV. lots of DVDs, good wifi. If you want more entertainment, bring a pc with content and a chromecast. Netlix and Youtube work fine. But Brac is mainly about sea and sky and outdoor pleasures. Diving, snorkelling both excellent. The Supermarkets (4) are adequate and there are a few good eateries, especially Star Island, which provide takeout good enough to live off. Glen and Jane, the owners, are as attentive as you need thm to be. I could go on but it's obvious how I feel about Brac and Hammock moon. Just don't tell everyone, I want The Brac to stay the way it is. These are my pics http://jwskinner.net/Brac_Pics/"

Cayman Islands Travel Tips

Cayman Island Rentals Are Bases to Discover Paradise

Discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1503, the Cayman Islands were originally named Las Tortugas after the numerous sea turtles there. The Cayman Islands are now ideal locations for today’s explorers. Cayman Islands rentals give independent travelers bases from which to discover the myriad of attractions on the Cayman Islands. Cayman Islands villas allow you to discover exciting activities at lovely Caribbean resorts.

Cayman Island Villas for Relaxation and Education

Seven Mile Beach is one of the Caribbean’s premier beaches. Located on Grand Cayman, it is easily accessible from all Cayman Island villas. South of Seven Mile Beach is Georgetown, the capital of the Cayman Islands and home to several Caribbean resorts. Located here is the Cayman Islands National Museum. There are more than 2,000 items portraying the natural, social, and cultural history of the Caymans. Take time away from your comfortable Cayman Islands rentals to visit the Cayman Turtle Farm. This is a fascinating excursion where you can see the work being carried out to bring back the population of endangered green sea turtles.

Explore Sea Life at Caribbean Resorts

No excursion from Caribbean resorts is complete without visiting Stingray City. Conveniently located close to Cayman Islands rentals, this attraction is where a large number of stingrays gather. It is believed that the fish come to the area because local fisherman used to clean and gut their catches here. Now visitors wade onto the waist-deep sandbar to pet and feed these amazing creatures. This will be an unforgettable experience to remember when you look back on your time in Cayman Islands villas.

Caribbean Resorts for World-renowned Diving on your Doorstep

Cayman Islands rentals offer the more adventurous some of the best scuba diving sites of all the Caribbean resorts. World-renowned sites such as Bloody Bay and Jackson's Bight are located on the north side of Little Cayman. Famous for its sheer cliff drop offs, it is definitely for the experienced diver. The spectacular natural beauty, activities, water sports and interesting places to visit from Cayman Islands villas makes the area the perfect vacation destination.
