"We stayed for a week for jazzfest. This condo is in a perfect location for the French Quarter and all the fun and music on Frenchmen street. Free parking too! We've been to NOLA many times, and this was the best place we've stayed to date. Lots of great nearby restaurants. We discovered Irene's on this trip. I'll be coming back again and staying here, hopefully real soon."

"Excellent property. Right in the heart of the French quarter. Balcony was great for people watching. Really liked the attention to detail to include the NOLA and music themed artwork and accents throughout the property. Would rent this place again."

"We were two natives returned home to play for a week. The first word in the title of Frankie's Place (FUN) was all I needed to give it our consideration. Frankie was very easy to work with and was gracious even though we were searching the evening before arrival. He had a parking space set aside for us and let us know of his favorite local eateries in walking distance. For the most part we spent our evening time on Frenchman at Bamboula's. Best fried oysters we had ever had and our first intro to an Abita "strawberry gator". Delish! We stayed aware, but never had any major stranger dangers in walking to and from Frenchman or the Quarter at night. It was fun in the morning to swing the doors open and drink coffee at the patio table in front of the door. It put us VERY close to the locals who were all friendly, maybe one a little too friendly :o) The Friendly bar across the street started perking up in the late afternoon and stayed audible until the middle of the night, but thanks to Frankie having Apple TV, we could play a nice "summer rain" noise through the speakers and drown out the street noise. The bed was very comfortable and the flat was outfitted with everything we needed for our 5 night stay. Being able to eat in and do laundry was a huge plus. IF you are able to travel with your bike, there are TONS of folks in the Marigny pedaling around, you might like to join them. We would definitely recommend this flat. Just bring your ipad, iphone or other device with a good white noise app for quieting down the fun outside!"
