Denne villa ligger på en privat strandbane på en privat ejendom kaldet Kailua Gardens.

Den bedste del er, at du bare går ned ad en privat strandvej, og på mindre end 2 minutter vil du være på Kailua Beach, som er den smukkeste strand i landet! Det er fantastisk til børn. Vandet er roligt, da der er et koralrev 1/2 mil fra kysten, hvor bølgerne bryder. Du kan snorkle, svømme, kajak eller bare gå på stranden i flere timer. Du kan også se solen stige om morgenen over havet og månen stiger om aftenen. Det er virkelig betagende!

Everything was excellent. Beds were comfy and nice to have parking. Being able to walk to the beach and not have to look for parking was so nice.

Our family had a fantastic stay this past week. Zak was an incredible host, and made everything easy - from finding the property, to check-in, and overall responsiveness friendliness. Thank you, Zak! The grounds are private and beautiful, complete with shared beach accessories for the short walk across the street to Kailua Beach. The facilities are nicely kept, though could use a little updating and cleanout. A perfect spot for our family of 4 (two kids under 11), with the option of a 5th person on a futon. Remember it's Hawaii, so some occasional island insects are to be expected... ;). Will definitely return to this beautiful place!

The location was incredible. It is a few minutes to the beach, just like the description says. Great little beach as well. You can walk to a convenience store, pizza place, or the kayak rental shop. The pillbox Trail can also be reached by just a short 15 minute stroll. The accommodations were just as advertised. Look, it’s not a five star hotel, it’s a home rental that is in good shape, has everything you need, and actually a little bit more. It was great to have chairs and snorkel equipment. I am already planning my return visit, and will be coming back to this place.

Kailua Vacation

Excellent rental. Close to beach and short walk to dining and shopping. Great to have a pool as alternative to beach would recommend. Great location.

LOVED being at this property with my kids! Location is perfect. We beach hopped, ate local and walked for miles at sunrise. Absolutely perfect. Some other reviews mentioned the bathroom downstairs at the pool. It worked perfect for us - as I had that as my private master bathroom while the kids shared the unit bathroom. Really clean, beds comfy, had all we needed - and beach toys were a bonus! Thanks so much! Will return!!

Nice beachside stay

We enjoyed our time in the Kukui House. The location is perfect as its walking distance to the beach, the market, and very close to town. We were comfortable and had fun using the pool, bikes, and barbecue.

Great location

The owners were very nice and offered to help with anything we needed, but I didn’t want to bother them. Manager was prompt with replies. The place itself was pretty small and the kitchen basically fits one person (also can barely open the dishwasher because it is so close to the fridge) Could use new dishes because most were chipped. Better directions as to where to turn on the hot tub would have been helpful. Otherwise good but seems a bit expensive. My sister had a bigger place just down the beach for about 1200 less for the week. Again, owners seemed like lovely people:)

Great location!

The location is unbeatable: short walk to the best beach! Beds are comfortable. We probably missed the description that the second bathroom is downstairs, outside the unit, but it wasn't a big issue for us. We had a great stay.

Friends Wedding

The location was excellent and the unit was comfortable. We were disappointed as five adults to find that there were not really enough beds to accommodate us. One double bed, two singles, and sheets to cover a couch. Enjoyed our stay.

Perfect rental in Kailua

Loved the house and location. I booked it in a hurry and without reading the specifics knowing that options were limited and we were visiting friends nearby. I couldn't believe my dumb luck when we arrived and realized how perfect the location was which is right across from a sandy and picturesque beach and walking distance to snorkeling, swimming and the Lanikai Pillbox Trail. Having been to the various islands of Hawaii 15-20 times we had avoded Oahu until this trip thinking the whole island would be like Wikiki. We were totally wrong. Love Oahu and this property and can't wait to come back.

Lovely getaway

Our stay was wonderful. The location was perfect. Nice amenities and kitchen/bathrooms had xtra supplies needed for our stay. Truly a gem in Kailua. Easy access to the beach and stores. The owners were easy to connnect with and a cute folder with instructions and recommendations were provided. We will be back. Thank you

Right across the road from a beautiful beach.

The location was great. It was very quit and the grounds were beautiful. The description was not clear, it did have two bedrooms (1 was very small) and it listed two bathrooms, only one was in the unit. The other was downstairs by the pool. Also the kitchen was not stocked well, especially glasses. We did have a great time and again the location was wonderful.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay! The condo was clean, well equipped and in a fantastic location. Just across the street from Kailua beach and a short walk from a beautiful hike to the pillboxes overlooking Lanakai. We couldn't have hoped for a better location! The condo was comfortable - the sheets were soft and there were was plenty of sitting areas in the family room.The lanai provided a nice additional space to sit outside. The garage had everything we needed for spending time at the beach - chairs, umbrellas, coolers, etc and was just so nice to be able to grab what we needed to walk a couple of minutes to a gorgeous beach. Zak was very responsive to our requests and we felt right at home. We can't wait to return!

Great location

Parking tight, mobility tough for handicapped, second bathroom outside, downstairs. Unit could use some TLC. Nice, comfortable furniture & beds. TV on Roku, remote gave us problems, freezer didn’t make ice cubes.

50th High School Reunion

We were very happy with our stay. A few techno issues but Zach (host) resolved them quickly. Would stay here again!!

Wohnung mit wenig Privatsphäre

Das Haus hat eine Top Lage am Strand. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett, Check-In war super. Wir waren zwei Stunden zu früh da und konnten trotzdem schon in die Wohnung. Die Wohnung selbst hat nicht ganz unseren Vorstellungen entsprochen. Das Foto in der Annonce impliziert, dass es eine Terrasse gibt, die zur Wohnung gehört. Tatsächlich ist das mehr ein Durchgang, denn die Nachbarinnen mussten über diese Terrasse gehen, um zu ihrer eigenen Wohnung zu gelangen. Dies war auf unserer langen Reise die einzige Unterkunft, in der wir keinen privaten Bereich im Freien hatten. Noch mehr hat uns allerdings gestört, dass unser zweites Badezimmer im Erdgeschoss lag, was nirgends in der Beschreibung zu finden war. Es ist nur über eine Treppe im Freien erreichbar und theoretisch für alle Gäste des Hauses frei zugänglich. Wenn wir in dieses Badezimmer wollten, mussten wir an den Gästen beim Pool vorbei, kein angenehmer Zustand. Das Badezimmer in der Wohnung selbst war für vier Erwachsene zu klein. Außerdem befanden sich im Kühlschrank Lebensmittel von Gästen vor uns. Im Prinzip ist das okay, aber es handelte sich um bereits geöffnete Butter und eingetrockneten Käse. Die vielen Flaschen mit diversen Saucen haben wir nicht näher inspiziert. Alles in allem okay. Das Foto

We lived in Colorado for 10 years and had our first child, She was 3 months premature and weighed in at a whopping 1 pound!! When she turned one, she weighed almost 10 pounds. Her doctor said that she would grow if we moved her to a warmer climate.. that it was difficult for her to maintain a 98.6 degree body temperature without burning so many calories. So, we moved to Hawaii.. with $500 in the bank and our little daughter. That was in December, 1979. And here we are 40 years later. She has since married, given birth to our grandaughters, and has moved back to Colorado. We had our son after moving to Hawaii. He married his high school sweetheart and they have 2 sons. And, he just began working for us full time!
There's more to the story, so come and stay with us to hear the rest. We love our guests and have many repeat visitors to our lovely rentals.

We bought our house before it became a vacation rental. We owned a small travel agency and people were always asking if there was anywhere to stay other than Waikiki. So we decided to rent out some rooms in our home to accommodate our clients and to make a little extra money. There were no hotels in our town and the beach was just gorgeous. Little did we know that Kailua would become such a B&B mecca.

You will love the hospitality and service we provide our guests. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and the property is like walking into Shangri La. Steve's gardens are breathtaking and the pool is beautiful.
