Wai'ula'ula at Mauna Kea Resort vacation rentals

Spacious, luxurious house, thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is the best-equipped and best-organized kitchen of any rental property I have visited. Lovely lanai with gorgeous views of the ocean and landscape of the Big Island. The Sonos sound system provided the perfect ambiance during our stay. Overall it was a wonderful, memorable visit to the Big Island for my family.

This is the second time we have stayed here. Barbara and her team are the best. Very proactive communication. And this place… the view is unbeatable. The house is clean and well equipped for cooking (which we do a lot here). And access to the Mauna Kea is fantastic but you go home to lots of space.

This place was an amazing condo/house in the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and Hapuna resort complex. Very spacious with amazing amenities. The pool/rec area within Wai’Ula’Ula area was a great bonus as the Mauna Kea pool is currently under renovation. Beds were very comfy and the I was really impressed by the tv/speaker setup in the living room. Great surround sound system and large TV. Great kitchen and grill area on the lanai as well. Highly recommend this place over staying at the main hotels themselves given the large space, amount of beds, and the ability to get premium Club Access to the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel.

This property is spacious and private. The perfect place for multiple families to stay together. The views from the deck and pool are of the ocean and we enjoyed watching the sunset each night in the hot tub. The pool was enough to entertain the kids and for the adults to relax. Was nice to have the hot tub option later in the evening. Getting the settings to work for lights, jets, and temperature was a bit tricky. We had to have the pool service come twice but they were able to reset things and the property manager was responsive. The kitchen was well equipped, we cooked on the outdoor grill most nights. Comfortable beds, very clean. So convenient to have laundry in the house. We were able to pack light. Outdoor shower was fun and great to use coming back from the beach. In the garage they had beach chairs/umbrella, boogie boards, and some snorkeling gear. Quick drive to the beach, went to hapuna beach state park only 10-15min drive. Parking at Mauna Kea resort fills up pretty fast in the morning. We did not get the amenities package and glad we didn’t waste the money on this. I think there is so much to do without it. We booked a luau and night manta ray snorkel at Mauna Kea and you do not need the package to do this. Would highly recommend these activities. Also zipline and horse back riding in Kohala is only about 30-40 drive north. We spent a day driving to the volcano national park and a couple water falls. Well worth the day trip. Highly recommend this place!

The home is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed our time at the resorts, but the best sunsets were from the lanai. Patricia was responsive, helpful, and kind. We hope to come back and do it all over again!

The condo was perfect for our stay. We had an issue with the internet and Donna immediately had Spectrum on the phone and had it resolved. Donna was very helpful and we will be back. 10 stars out of 5 stars for Donna and the unit was well stocked and just perfect. We will be back! Dave

The property was perfect for our family. The lanai was wonderful and our boys could play in the grass. There were plenty of sand and pool toys for us to use. We will definitely use this place next time.

Our family loved our stay at this amazing property. Everything from check-in to check-out was 5 star. We look forward to coming back soon!
