Rymligt 4 sovrum hem med klassisk Tahoe charm. Chamberlands HOA w / BEACH- Stort hem i privat miljö på West Shore .. Vandringsleder för att utforska direkt utanför ytterdörren! Klassisk Tahoe-stuga med öppen trädgård. Fantastiskt läge vid västkusten på gångavstånd till Homewood Ski Resort, West Shore Cafe, Obexers Market och Homewood Marina.

Gå in i lerrummet där du kan tappa dina strandhanddukar, eller stövlar och handskar. Följ sedan rakt in i vardagsrummet där du hälsas med en eldstad och stora bildfönster med utsikt mot den stora trädgården. Den stora trädgården har inte grannar på bakgården, så du kommer att känna dig som om du befinner dig i ett lugnt utrymme medan du njuter av morgonkoppen på det stora däck.

På bottenvåningen finns två sovrum, ett badrum, vardagsrum med gott om sittplatser, matsal och kök med ytterligare en liten sittgrupp. Det stora sovrummet på bottenvåningen har en King size-säng och det andra sovrummet har en Queen size-säng.

Övre våningen har ytterligare två sovrum, ytterligare ett badrum, vardagsrum och tvättstuga. Det övre våningen sovrummet har en annan king size-säng och det fjärde sovrummet i hemmet har en king size-säng och 2 full storlek sängar. Stort rum med mycket utrymme.

Detta är ett enkelt hem som inte är över dekorerade eller moderna, men är fullt av minnen. Det finns gott om utrymme för alla att fortsätta göra en livstid av familjeminnen.

This home needs major help! I understand the Retro means out dated but this was far worse. The beds, bedding, towels and cookware needed to be replaced ASAP. Definitely would not recommend this place!

We felt at home in this warm and welcoming house. It was fully equipped with everything we needed and we had a wonderful time with our family.

House was ok, but for the money I would expect a few things would be different. Kitchen was nice, actually all of the downstairs was nice, but the decor and some of the furniture was very outdated and garage sale-ish. None of this is a big deal, what made me give the 3 star rating, instead of 5 is that the bathroom rug downstairs was so dirty that I didn't want to step on it barefooted! Pillows were not comfortable and bed was marginal in the downstairs bedroom. Closet was so full of quilts, etc that there was no room to hang our clothes. Also, there were only 5 people in a house that would sleep 10 and we had to go buy toilet tissue on the next to last day.

Quick family get away

Very nice and comfy property close to the beach and hiking trails. Had a great time, home was very spacious, and even had quite an experience with a bear guest as well.

Great Family Vacation Home

Great home for family get away. Fully stocked and convenient location. Pet friendly home with nice deck and cozy fireplace. Dated but very clean. Big comfortable furniture. We will be requesting this home again.

Great location for outdoor activities

We were able to snow show on trails right across the street. Only one block to Homewood ski resort and a half of a mile from state park with cross country skiing. We did it al!! Also loved the wood burning fireplace.

Rustic and functional home in quiet neighbourhood.

This was the second time I rented this home for a family reunion in early September. It is a large, functional home in a quiet neighbourhood. The back deck had been replaced since last year, which was a plus. We enjoyed the comfort and spaciousness of the home and would certainly rent it again.

"Gumpy" the bear

We loved this house .It had everything we needed and the property management was great to work with.We had a bear hang around every night and morning and he just hung around so I named him gumpy.We would highly recommend this house.

Quiet and roomy stay

June 2019 stay

Nice location! Good trail just down the street. The house was good. The deck was good. The backyard was good. The bears were bold but harmless. We suggest considering an upgrade to the provided towels, silverware, and some other domestic tools. Most were tolerable but not quite up to standards expected for a place at this price point. The interior design was retro for sure, which we liked.

Easy walk to Homewood and perfect starting point for biking to Sunnyside and Tahoe City. Chamberlands Beach and Chambers Landing Bar/Restaurant did an excellent job of accomodating social distancing, much better than the scary photos we saw of other too-crowded locations.

Old Tahoe’s sweet spot

We like to experience Tahoe as if it were not a world class destination with all the trappings of luxury lifestyle but rather as the cozy local getaway it was known for years ago, and to a smaller extent, presently. The Tahoma, Homewood and West Shore areas generally maintain that old Tahoe vibe and we appreciate that this rental is right in the mix of it. Homewood ski resort (Keep it Local!) is a short 5 minute walk, as is the beautiful waterfront, piers, general store and dining options. We loved our stay, and felt the home was perfect for our group. Kitchen was spacious and communal with everything you would need. Sleeping rooms were comfortable and clean. I only wish we had more time, but maybe next time we visit.

Retro House just like grandma’s house

This house is very retro Tahoe which means it’s like grandma’s house from the 60’s. When you walk in, the aroma will remind you of grandma. The interior is classic woody with shag carpet. The deck is great and the yard is brown. There is a wooden swing that last worked on the 80’s. The kitchen is well stocked and sometimes rusty but not organized. Access to Chamberlands Beach was a nice change and good place to get outside. Stay here and you’ll really appreciate your future rentals.

July 2021 visit

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location and adequately equipped kitchen. The upstairs bedrooms are poorly ventilated and miserably hot. One bed in the upstairs dormitory had a broken slat which made sleeping on it uncomfortable. The carpets were quite dirty. Nice deck recently renewed. Several of us got splinters in our hands from the poorly maintained wooden patio table. BBQ worked. A pile of automotive tires and rims was in the driveway that we had to move for access. Nice large space in the backyard however the lawn was allowed to die and it is now dusty. A minor issue was the Cable TV went bad. Most remotes had no batteries. We didn't fix it.

Home away from Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed staying in this cabin. My sister and our husbands agreed it reminded of us of our parents home. It's a great lay out with great space. A location we all like and would love to return to.There are a couple of things you should know we called for assistance to replace outside light bulbs and got no response. We were not able to use the swimming pool at Chambers which I had been looking forward to. You could use some new beds and a dishwasher that thing is as old as the house. A new barbecue would be nice too. The problem was the deck. Loved sitting out in the trees but it's an accident that happened. I tripped and fell across a one inch gap, ended up in Tahoe Forest Hospital with a concussion and large bruising across my right arm. The TFH is a beautiful facility and I highly recommend it if necessary. Again we loved the basic house but it needs some updating. This review comes form a long time visitor of the Homewood/ Chambers Landing area.
