This is one of 2 master wings in a beautiful hand-built home on a 5-acre apple orchard. We are 4 miles from the ocean, but the last mile is our driveway, so there is a real sense of seclusion. We built the house with another couple, so the house has 2 private master wings. Our partners moved to be closer to their grandchildren, so their wing is now available.
The master bedroom is quite large. It has a king size bed and a couch that becomes a queen size bed. Separating the beds is a gas fireplace. The 2nd bedroom has a double bed and a large built-in desk. In the same space, but separated by a room divider, there is a partial kitchen, including an under-counter refrigerator, microwave, induction burner, toaster, and kitchenware.
The enormous bathroom is shared by the bedrooms. It has a double vanity, a private toilet room, a 6 foot by 6 foot walk-in shower and an over-size bath tub.
The bathroom and the 2nd bedroom open onto a private deck. There is a gravenstein apple tree over-hanging one end of the deck. If you come stay before mid-August, you can pick fresh apples from the deck!

Beautiful handmade home nestled in the woods. Private wing of a large house. Beautiful outside and inside. Cute nearby town. Santa Cruz 20 minute's away. Owner is a genuinely nice guy. Slept good. Shower is amazing. Kitchen is small but has most of what you need. Would recomend.
Amazing place with a great host!Geoff was very accommodating with our last minute plan change and late arrival. Walked us through the very comfortable west wing of his property and even offered help with grocery orders.I would highly recommend for families with kids.
We enjoyed the privacy where the place was. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. The bathroom was huge and beautiful and the rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. Everything was only about a 15 minute drive which was also very nice. I would highly recommend staying here.
Beautiful property and wonderful host! We especially loved the main bedroom with its very comfortable king sized bed and fireplace. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
We had a fantastic stay, and wished we could have stayed longer. The property is tucked away and wonderfully quiet, but still a very short drive from stores and restaurants. We received a very warm welcome, and were so impressed with the space - the pictures really don't do it justice! We will definitely plan to go back. Thank you for such a lovely stay!
Beautiful location, one of a kind house, and great hospitality by the owner. Kitchen a tad small, but has everything you need for simple food preparation. I will definitely return in the future.
Had a little trouble finding the place at first but once found we had no issues. Was a beautiful property and a cozy place to stay. Jeff even offered us some delicious homemade Apple juice. The family loved it!
Beautiful calm atmosphere, extremely welcoming host, Geoff was personable and made all of us feel extremely welcomed. Will definitely stay again on our next trip in the area.
Geoffs place was incredible! Way more space than we needed and so beautiful. The kids loved exploring the property and picking pears from his trees. Would definitely come back if we were in the area. So many things to do and places to explore.
This place is a real gem! On a beautiful piece of land that feels “off the grid”. Very spacious (more than it seems online). Kitchen is suited for basic meals, but stocked with coffee! Owner very responsive. I’d definitely stay here again.
This was a great fit for our needs and communication with the owner was easy! Thanks also for helping to loan us an iron for our clothing! Will be staying here again soon!
