The host was very responsive and the listing was accurate especially the need for 4-wheel/all wheel drive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were just a few too many cob webs.

I gave it an okay rating for a number of reasons: WiFi was not good, it kept buffering through movies and was very frustrating at times. Neighbors were loud, driving by with loud music playing. They also drove an ATV up and down a muddy hill next to the residence. I figured there wasn’t a view since there was no photo, but I didn’t expect an abandoned trailer to look at out the front porch. I do give it an excellent for the cute interior and distance from Cherokee and Bryson City. It was clean with extra little touches. .

Thank you for the review. Across the road is a barn that is for sale. Unfortunately, the weather this weekend most likely affected the WiFi during your stay. I am glad you enjoyed your time in the local cities!
A for everything! Tucked away, no sounds but the running creek and an occasional bird. Spotless and well-stocked inside. The fire pit was divine. The electric stove has been replaced with a new flat-top since the picture in the add was taken. The Wi-Fi worked well, we were able to stream a movie each night from amazon. It is up a very-steep gravel road with switch backs so definitely glad we have a 4x4.

What a BEAUTIFUL place to just relax and unwind! The cabin itself is amazing and where it's located is even more so. All you can hear if you're outside is the mountain stream across from the driveway making that porch a little slice of heaven for sure. Just an all around amazing stay!

This rustic cabin was the perfect getaway for us. The drive up is not for the faint of heart, but if you are ok driving off-road this cabin is a great deal.
