This is your own comfortable private place to rest relax and go explore all that the Big Island has to offer in all of its Charm. Everything is brand new, right down to the Stearns & Foster 'Estate" Queen mattress (1) Plus a premium twin (air mattress) perfect for a child so we can accommodate 3 with the air mattress. We also have a commons area with microwave, toaster, toaster oven, coffee maker, but each guest house has its own mini fridge. You can bring home leftovers from dinning out at one of Hilo's majestic eateries. You're just 3 blocks from all the downtown restaurants and shopping, farmers markets, live music in the evenings.

Your room decor is a fun collection of beautiful local Polynesian & Asian artwork. You have private (covered) parking, rare with any Hilo stay! You're parked out of the hot sun and possible rain. This is a peaceful 100+ year old neighborhood with no one above or below your guest house with private entrance. A beautiful commons area for a little sun in private or read a book in the shade. About Joel & Sandy Lawson

We visited the Big Island in 1998 & 99 bought our first home, made the move and settled in as Hawaiian Artist making our living. We have four children all married and are starting their own lives in the mainland. We are now empty nested and moving into a new chapter of our lives as we both have retired. Our property is brand new custom tropical Island design, and our job now is to keep it predestine and to make sure our guest have a great Hawaiian experience.

                                                          Amazing craftsmanship in this beautifully appointed house. The room is large, and open with large windows, filled with lovely furnishings and special touches. Joel was very welcoming and helpful. Best street in Hilo. Highly recommended!!
