Charming riverside cottage featuring one king size bed with 2 inch gel topper adjacent to full bath and large laundry room/home office. Also one queen size adjustable bed with massage and 2 inch gel topper, adjacent to full bath. Down comforter available for chilly nights if you like the windows open to the sound of the Pacolet River. There is a flat screen smart tv in the living room and an internet ready tv in the master bedroom. Wi-fi available throughout home and adjacent grounds. The kitchen is fully equipped and you can step just outside onto the deck to eat alfresco. The deck also has it's own screened in double size bed. You may not be able to resist going to the Pacolet river running along the back of the property where there are 4 adirondack chairs with pull out leg rests next to the built-in fire pit. You will find the musical sound of the small rapids is irresistible. If the night is chilly and you prefer to remain indoors, there is a gas log fireplace in the living room. This charming cottage is the last home on the end of a dead end road. There are no homes behind it, only a valley wall of trees. This 1.5 acres of land IS ONLY 14 MILES FROM 2018 FEI WORLD EQUESTRIAN GAMES. Also close at hand is Harmond Field, 1.2 mls, where many equestrian events take place on the weekends. It's only a 3 minute drive. The area is very quiet but close to nearby attractions.
Start your mornings out at my small coffee bar offering a coffee maker or French Press and a slection of coffees, sugars and sugar substitutes, half & half, and assorted other goodies. For those who prefer tea, I offer a selection of those as well.
Nearby attractions include historic downtown Tryon and Saluda and plenty of antique shops. There are also walking and hiking trails, tennis courts, a golf course, and frisbee golf very close by.
For longer stays cleaning services are available at a small fee. Pet sitting services are also offered.
This relaxing setting has plenty of butterflies to watch, deer visit the river across from the fire pit, and blue birds abound. Please make yourselves at home.
*Update: The Great Blue Heron is back for another year. The last guests saw a black bear across the river from the firepit and a beaver swimming up river.
*If you can book without using a credit card, I'd appreciate it. There's a hefty fee.
