Condo, 1 Bedroom with Queen Bed + 1 Queen sleep Sofa, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)

This is a large, well maintained, one bedroom condominium with hardwood floors, nice, updated furnishings, and a new 42' flat screen TV with a DVD player. Accommodations sleep 4 with a queen bed in the bedroom and a queen sofa couch in the living area, a very large bathroom, walk-in closet (large enough to comfortably accommodate a pack-n-play crib, fully-equipped kitchen, and covered deck. The unit is not ocean front but is right across the street from a beach access and has a great unobstructed ocean view. The town recently tore down a large beachfront home next to the beach access and the county bought the property to turn it into a park so the view is even better now! The condo is in a great location that is close to the beach and 'downtown' Folly Beach. We offer wireless internet service for our guests.

We are housed on the 1st floor with a private covered deck that has a tall cafe table with chairs and an outdoor couch. There is designated parking under the condo and hot/cold outdoor showers. The property is a part of Blue Heron Inn which only houses 4 condo units. There are great restaurants, the Folly Beach Pier, a small grocery store and shopping within 1 to 2 blocks of the condo.

Folly is a great island with a lot of charm! You can check out the historic lighthouse on the east end, join the surfers at the Washout, search for shells at any time of day, or watch the gorgeous sunsets on the west end at the Folly Beach Park. The fishing is great on the Pier and the restaurants are worth trying - Especially the Lost Dog for breakfast and Taco Boy for lunch. Rita's is our new favorite - we tried it after reading so many good reviews from our guests! With this unit being so centrally located, you can walk to the beach and to dinner! Charleston is only 7 miles away and walking down cobblestone streets and taking a carriage ride to learn more about the history of this great southern city is a great way to spend the day.

We rent only by the week in the summer months (Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day) but will rent by the weekend or nightly with a 2 to 3 night minimum stay during all other seasons. If we have not rented in the summer for the full week by the week before, we will rent by the night. Please check the calendar and send us an e-mail.

Perfect in Every Way!

To start, interaction with the owners to book the condo was effortless. They were responsive, friendly, and very helpful; willing to answer any questions we had and more.

The condo itself is very clean, very well maintained, and completely stocked with everything we needed for the week (except for beach towels which we were aware of and prepared for). It’s nicely decorated; very comfortable. The bathroom is very roomy, there is a huge walk in closet, and even a washer/dryer, which is so convenient. The deck is nicely furnished and has an absolutely beautiful view of the beach and the ocean – gorgeous!

There’s an outdoor “shower” to wash off the sand and parking is under roof which keeps the vehicle much cooler. Not that we used our vehicle much at all. We did go to Charleston for shopping and eating (which is fantastic), and on the only day that was a rain-out, we went to the outlets. Aside from that, there are shops and restaurants within walking distance, and even live music.

For the bulk of our food shopping, we went to the Walmart which was very close by (by car), but we visited Bert’s grocery store (literally steps away) a few times for some things. Bert’s is very cool!

The beach is directly across the street – again steps away from the condo - and is a beautiful, well-kept beach. The comfort and convenience of this property allowed for a very relaxing, no-stress vacation. We hope to come back soon!

We belong to a couple of vacation clubs and have a time share that we usually take advantage of every summer. However this summer we decided to make the trek to Foley Beach a place we had heard so much about and am thankful that we did. I spent hours online looking at rentals in Foley Beach, South Carolina, each time I came back to this listing and I am grateful I did. Not only is the Condo ideally located, the owners seem to care about their guests as well as their condo. This was the first ever visit to South Carolina . My wife and I feel blessed to have experienced Foley Beach and this great condo.

The pictures do not do the property justice, our balcony looked out to the beach, everything one needs to enjoy a vacation is at the condo, except beach towels (make sure you bring some or stop and buy them), In the parking area we found beach chairs, and an umbrella for those hot afternoons. the condo is located by the beach and a short walking distance to the best food and shops. I would encourage you to stop in Charleston for your major grocery purchases.

The only time we used our rental car was for two trips into Charleston, for shopping and a carriage ride, otherwise, we walked everyplace else we needed to go.

For a comfortable, clean, and fantastic place to stay, do yourself a favor and pick this condo. I am certain you will not be disappointed. This was a vacation my wife and I will never forget.

At first we did not want to write a review. We didn’t want others to discover this great place to stay on Folly!

The owners were responsive and great to work with. The rental was very clean and well maintained. There were ample sets of towels and spare linens in the large closet area. The furniture was comfortable, but we did not spend very much time inside. The deck has a fantastic view of the ocean and most of our break time from the beach was spent outside. It did rain one day following a tropical storm, but even so, it was dry on the deck.

Parking is under the unit, nice and clean. There are outdoor showers which were quite refreshing after the beach a few beach chairs were provided. We did use to rent a large umbrella and boogie boards. Bert’s is across the street for any grocery items you may need (though we’d recommend getting the bulk of a week’s essentials at a large grocery store).

The beach is directly across the street and you couldn’t find easier access other than actual ocean front. Head one block west and you are in the middle of all the places to eat. Be sure to catch the sunrise on the beach, you may even encounter a loggerhead sea turtle laying eggs like we did.

A fantastic place and we will be back again!

Ideal Place to Enjoy Laid Back Folly Beach

The condo was everything Robyn said it would be and more. The location was ideal. The restaurants and shops are a 5-10 minute walk away, the famous Folly pier is 5 minutes away, and the beach is right across the street. Just right for easy access to all Folly Beach has to offer without the bustle and noise of Center Street. We loved seeing the ocean from the living room and enjoying the sound of the crashing surf while sitting on the deck.

The condo was perfect for my wife, 9-month-old son, and me. There was plenty of room for him to crawl around. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals for the times we opted to stay home. We then had the option to eat out on the deck when the weather was nice or at the kitchen table when it wasn't. My wife loved the bedsheets and now wants to buy a set.

Our only complaint isn't about the condo itself or Folly Beach but the people staying in the penthouse suite above the condo. They can be heard walking around and the group staying the same time as us was loud at times. It wasn't enough to spoil our stay or keep us from returning, but it was a minor annoyance.

Robyn provided the right amount of information throughout the time prior to our arrival at Folly Beach. I normally get nervous before going some place for the first time, but that wasn't the case for this trip thanks to Robyn.

We highly recommend Lost Dog Cafe for breakfast (probably great for lunch too, although we only had breakfast). We'd be regulars there if we lived in the area. Woody's does pizza right, huge slices with the ideal thin crust. On James Island, we enjoyed Roadside Seafood for casual dining. We went to both McLeod and Boone Hall plantations. I would go to McLeod again, but I wouldn't bother with BH. Mostly we enjoyed walking around Charleston to soak up the history and admire the beautiful buildings in the city and on the College of Charleston campus.

For the combination of location, amenities, price, and friendliness of your hosts, I cannot imagine a better place to stay in Folly Beach than this condo!

Absolutely perfect!!! Great experience from beginning to end. It was a working weekend (I was there to do photo shoots on the beach) so I didn't get to enjoy the condo as much as I would've liked, but, WOW, what a nice place. Location: Perfect. View: was very good. Condo: Spotless! Beautifully decorated. Comfortable. Parked the car on Friday and didn't move it again until Sunday except for one quick grocery store trip. Owners: Very Responsive. I can't wait to go back and this will be the very first place I will look to book.

Wonderful Vacation!

The condo was very clean, beautifully decorated, well appointed and the location was perfect. Everything is within walking distance, the beach, the shops and plenty of restaurants. Best of all I could start my day on the deck and with hot cup of coffee and and a view of the ocean. The owners made the process simple and they were very responsive. We can't say enough about this condo or Folly beach. It proved to be the most relaxing and fun vacation our family has had in years. I recommend this property, you won't be disappointed! Thanks Robyn we will be back!!

There is a beautifully restored lighthouse at the end of Folly Beach on Morris Island - it is a must see! At low tide you can find horseshoe crabs, starfish, sea urchins and sand dollars on the beach that looks out to the lighthouse on the peninsula of the island.

Final payment is due 30 days prior to your check-in date. Cancellations made after the final payment will forfeit the full payment. Inclement weather, road or airport closings, cancellations, or late/early departure does not warrant a refund. If you cancel and we are able to re-book some or all of your days we will refund a portion of the re-booked days minus a 50% fee.
* MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY- The maximum number of guests is limited to 4 people.
* CLEANING FEE – Total fee includes cleaning service after you leave; daily maid service is not included. Linens and bath towels are included with the unit. House linens are not to be taken from the units. Please bring beach towels.
* PARKING – Parking is limited to 2 vehicles.
* HURRICANE OR STORM POLICY - No refunds will be given unless a "mandatory evacuation” order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area of residence of a vacationing guest. On the date that the National Weather Service orders a mandatory evacuation of the "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning," area, we will refund:
a. Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered.
b. The portion of rent from a guest scheduled to arrive during the evacuation period and for any days the island is closed.
