Condo, 1 Bedroom with Queen Bed + 1 Queen sleep Sofa, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)
This is a large, well maintained, one bedroom condominium with hardwood floors, nice, updated furnishings. We just installed and a new 42' flat screen TV. Accommodations sleep 4 with a new Serta Iseries hybrid queen mattress bed in the bedroom and a new sofa with a Dreamquest queen mattress in the living area, a very large bathroom, walk-in closet (large enough to comfortably accommodate a pack-n-play crib, fully-equipped kitchen, and covered deck. Our condo is not ocean front but is right across the street from a beach access and has a great unobstructed ocean view. The town recently tore down a large beachfront home next to the beach access and the county bought the property to turn it into a park so the view is even better now! The condo is in a great location that is close to the beach and 'downtown' Folly Beach. We offer wireless internet service for our guests.
We are housed on the 1st floor with a private covered deck that has a tall cafe table with chairs and an outdoor couch. There is designated parking under the condo and hot/cold outdoor showers. The property is a part of Blue Heron Inn which only houses 4 condo units. There are great restaurants, the Folly Beach Pier, a small grocery store and shopping within 1 to 2 blocks of the condo.
Folly is a great island with a lot of charm! You can check out the historic lighthouse on the east end, join the surfers at the Washout, search for shells at any time of day, or watch the gorgeous sunsets on the west end at the Folly Beach Park. The fishing is great on the Pier and the restaurants are worth trying - Especially the Lost Dog for breakfast and Taco Boy for lunch. Rita's is our new favorite - we tried it after reading so many good reviews from our guests! With this unit being so centrally located, you can walk to the beach and to dinner! Charleston is only 7 miles away and walking down cobblestone streets and taking a carriage ride to learn more about the history of this great southern city is a great way to spend the day.
We rent only by the week in the summer months (Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day) but will rent by the weekend or nightly with a 2 to 3 night minimum stay during all other seasons. If we have not rented in the summer for the full week by the week before, we will rent by the night. Please check the calendar and send us an e-mail.

What a wonderful condo and location! My husband and I stayed for a week and felt very comfortable, like home. Even though it was spring break and it was like a party week we could sleep well! The bed was very comfortable. The view was beautiful!
We walked everywhere and enjoyed the town of Folly and the restaurants and live music! Folly Beach is such a cool place and we will definately be back. The owners were very nice and accommodating. The only thing missing were bicycles but we rented them for a very reasonable price.
No surprises everything in the condo was as described and it was like they took the pictures for the add that day. Very much like staying in a friends home and not A rental. Condo is much bigger than I expected and would be plenty of room for 4 people. I will stay here again next time just a few of us make the trip. Convenient walking just minutes from everything . I cant say anything else that hasn't been said already you wont be disappointed here.
Great location and good ocean view.
Clean and comfortable. Well appointed and stocked well in the kitchen. Easy covered parking. Love the porch especially. Good bed. Could use more reading lights in the living room. Had to reboot the cable tv every morning. We will definitely come back. The owners are very responsive and caring.
Liz, we are glad you had a good stay in Folly Beach . We always appreciate insight into what we can improve! We have purchased some extra lighting for the living room and have scheduled Direct TV to come out. When you live at the beach the wiring seems to have a much shorter lifespan! Perfect beach view, across the street, on Folly!
I will say that we were beyond pleased with our stay. Just steps from the beach, having to cross a one way street (so it was easy to get across!) Every morning we woke up and had our breakfast on the patio watching the waves. The kitchen is fully equipped and we used it for at least 2 meals every day. Spacious, perfect for a couple to stay. WiFi and TV both worked very well and everything was clean and updated. A huge perk for us was the parking under the condo, easily accessible and kept our vehicle safe. Bert’s Market is right across the street and has pretty much anything you may need and Center Street was just steps away as well. The only time we drove was when we went into Charleston. Since we fell in love with Folly Beach, this will definitely be a place we are going to stay in the future.
The property was such a great location for beach time as well as getting in and out of Charleston.
Folly Beach is terrific and we were steps away. Life at Folly is easygoing and comfortable. This home was neat, comfortable, fresh and we really needed to bring very little with us to get on with 'beach living'. We would love to stay here again.
We had a great time here! Robyn and Ray were great, easy to communicate with, and have a great and beautiful Condo. It was super convenient and easy to get to. I would recommend this place to a friend for sure.
There is a beautifully restored lighthouse at the end of Folly Beach on Morris Island - it is a must see! At low tide you can find horseshoe crabs, starfish, sea urchins and sand dollars on the beach that looks out to the lighthouse on the peninsula of the island.

HOUSE RULES AND POLICIES * CHECK-IN TIME IS no earlier than 3 P.M. EST and CHECK-OUT IS 10 A.M. EST. NO Early Check-ins or Check-outs. There are 5 hours to clean, disinfect and set up for you and the next guest! * This is a NON SMOKING unit. Smoking is permitted on the deck with provided ashtrays. * Pets are not permitted in under any conditions, this includes “visiting” pets. * PAYMENT – 50% of the total rent is due when you book your dates. This amount is non-refundable. The final payment is due 30 days prior to your check-in date. * CANCELLATIONS - A 60 day cancellation notice is required. Cancellations made any time after booking will forfeit the initial advance payment. Final payment is due 30 days prior to your check-in date. Cancellations made after the final payment will forfeit the full payment. Inclement weather, road or airport closings, cancellations, or late/early departure does not warrant a refund. If you cancel and we are able to re-book some or all of your days we will refund a portion of the re-booked days minus a 50% fee. * MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY- The maximum number of guests is limited to 4 people. * CLEANING FEE – Total fee includes cleaning service after you leave; daily maid service is not included. Linens and bath towels are included with the unit. House linens are not to be taken from the units. Please bring beach towels. * PARKING – Parking is limited to 2 vehicles. * HURRICANE OR STORM POLICY - No refunds will be given unless a "mandatory evacuation” order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area of residence of a vacationing guest. On the date that the National Weather Service orders a mandatory evacuation of the "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning," area, we will refund: a. Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered. b. The portion of rent from a guest scheduled to arrive during the evacuation period and for any days the island is closed. *Rules subject to change without notice.
